We rented candle stands for our wedding (six) several months before our wedding and watched them put it in their "book". A month later we confirmed our reservations and were informed that we must have the rentals back by Monday morning and that they weren't open on Sunday, so it would be difficult as we were leaving on Sunday for our honeymoon. We had to pick up the rentals on the day of the wedding or receive additional charges, but when we arrived they only had two of the six we had reserved. We were pressed for time as the wedding was that day but they found two in another city for us to pick up. They also said we could not return the rentals to their store but had to deliver to each store, yet they were still short on order. No apologies or solutions. Very very bad experience.
When one store ran out of a supply we needed, they held the product until we could go get it.
I rented candleabras for the ceremony. BOTH of them were very much in need of maintainance. Every stem was so loose that they would not hold up straight with the candles in them. I was afraid a candle would drip or fall on the floor and catch fire because of how crooked the stands were. We had to get our own tools out to TRY to fix it well enough. It was the day OF the wedding, They wouldnt let us get them any earlier, otherwise we may have had a second option. We took back to return the rentals 2 days later and informed of the problem. They nicely refunded our deposit and entire rental fee.
