Great experience with Maryland Event Rentals

My spouse and I used Maryland Event Rentals for our wedding at the Gambrill State Park Tea Room. The space comes with some furnishings, but to really class it up a bit more, we went with Maryland Event Rentals and used the white Chiavari chairs, half-moon table as our sweetheart table, and a combination of high rounds for cocktail hour and short rounds to help maintain social distancing for our guests, as well as linens and plateware. I worked with Jessica M, she helped organize an appointment to visit the storefront and get a feeling for the items, and she was very responsive to questions and updates as we got closer to the date. The drop-off and pick-up of items went very smoothly as well, we really enjoyed working with this company.

Would recommend

We used Dominique and his team for a family BBQ/ rehearsal dinner the afternoon before our wedding for tent rental as well as table/ chair rental. They were extremely attentive and knowledgable. Would definitely use them again for the next big event!

So professional and great price!

Maryland Event Rentals was perfect for our wedding day! Dominique was our point of contact and from start to finish he was so helpful in getting us what we wanted within our budget. We were having an outdoor wedding on a family farm, so we needed to rent EVERYTHING. We researched a lot of rental companies and are so happy we picked this one. The crew arrived when they said they would a few days before the wedding, set up the tent, and provided us with exactly what we needed. The day after the wedding they picked up everything as scheduled. Very professional. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Customer Convenient

I rented 10 Chiavari chairs for my wedding. They were beautiful chairs and not expensive. They allowed me to have a friend pickup and drop off chairs with no problem. My contact was Dominique, who was very courteous and professional.

These guys are great! I had to have made 5 changes, including one the day before the wedding...and ALL were responded to instantly and with amazing accommodation. I couldn't be more grateful for the effort they put into making this a stress-free transaction. I rented 150 chairs and 12 round tables...all were great. Thanks for everything!

I had a large barn wedding that involved a lot of rentals, and a lot of changes. Dominique never flinched, always so professional and pleasant to deal with. He quickly made changes to our order & would email me an updated order form. His storefront is terrific, and he took so much time with us during our initial meeting to make sure we knew all our options. Delivery and breakdown were both as smooth as can be!

This past Saturday we held our daughter's wedding in our backyard for 100 people. MD Event Rentals was the lowest estimate for a 40'x60' pole tent, 13 tables with full linens, chairs, air coolers, and tent lights, so I was skeptical. The other vendors I priced didn't seem very concerned with my bottom line nor did they take time to answer my questions. Dominique was patient and encouraged me to talk to other vendors before booking. When I was ready to book, I did it in person, and Dominique questioned a few higher priced items and encouraged me to consider the lower priced items. And they were perfect for us.
We made changes and every time, Dominique was very friendly. Items were delivered on the day discussed without any fuss, and the installers got the job done efficiently. They were very attentive when I was being very specific where to place the tent and nailed it. I couldn't have been more pleased.
Unfortunately, one air cooler was damaged at the manufacturer's site before shipping to MD Rentals, so Dominique had a new one overnighted. He personally delivered it to our site. He took care of everything we needed and kept us informed.
And then Dominique went beyond his responsibilities and solved an issue with a different vendor. Yes, one of his competitors didn't provide us a key needed for a power generator, and Dominique was able to contact them and get the key delivered. (This other vendor isn't opened on weekends, and the issue wasn't discovered until late Friday afternoon.) Without Dominique's help, we would have had to spend additional money, use up valuable time to rent and pick up another generator from Home Depot.
I would trust Md Rentals with any event! We do have another daughter and many neices in the area, and we will definitely have MD Rentals at the top of our list for future events!

We used Maryland Event Rentals for our wedding in the fall of 2014. It took me over a year to no longer be angry with the situation to write a level-headed review. The rentals items themselves (tent, tables, chairs, dance floor) were fine; the customer service leading up to the day was OK; the customer service the day of the set up – HORRIBLE!
The good: affordable prices, easy to book and fairly easy to make changes to the order.
The bad: We previously discussed on the phone that the set-up would take place late morning/early afternoon on Friday, day before the event, so that we would have plenty of time to decorate before rehearsal dinner at 7pm. The morning of, I emailed Dominique (the owner) trying to get a confirmation of when the set-up crew would be at location, this is the entire email I got as a response: “This afternoon” – extremely detailed, right? After many calls and an unresponsive set-up crew, they finally showed up at our location right before 7pm, forcing the father of the groom to stay behind and wait for the crew to finish up, and being late to the very own rehearsal him and my mother-on-law planned for us. With the set-up delay, we were not able to decorate the day before, which forced our friends and family (who were planning on and were ready to set-up on Friday) to show up early Saturday morning and rush to set everything up before the ceremony. This delay caused many people in the wedding party to stress out the day before and the day of our wedding (myself included).
I called Dominique the morning of my wedding to express my frustration with the situation and pay the remaining balance. All he did was say something like “Well, the crew was busy at another much bigger set up” and just asked for credit card info. Really!? No apology, none, and of course no discount of any kind.
The only person from Maryland Events Rentals that seem to understand that I was frustrated was Jessica - thank you!
