What can we say about Maryann...tooo many GOOD things thats for sure! We could go on for days! She made our wedding absolutely beautiful with the flowers and centerpieces she created! The moment my husband and i walked into our venue we were taken away by the beauty she had created! We got so many compliments on our centerpieces, it was astonishing! And my bouquet along with my bridesmaids bouquets were absolutely beautiful and so much better than we could've imagined! You cant go wrong with picking maryann to do your flowers for your wedding! she will make your dreams come true with the beauty she creates!! :)

Just starting to write this review puts a smile on my face! That's how I feel about Maryann! I cannot say enough good things about her and the gorgeous masterpieces she creates! She is truly an amazing artist. She always answered my emails right away, she got to know my husband and I personally and I feel confident that I will stay in contact with her because she's so sweet. Her knowledge of flowers and how to treat them and make them last is amazing. My untraditional bouquet of lilacs came out stunning...I was floored when I saw it, it was breathtaking! Every single centerpiece she created was gorgeous!!! Everyone was clamoring to take them home...she did such a beautiful job!! She even knew what to do when a flower I wanted at the last minute wasn't available. She was there for me when I was freaking out...and she always knew what to say :) Again...I highly recommend her for a multitude of reasons, you can't go wrong!

Every bride has a favorite vendor and mine was our florist. I was really particular on picking a florist because I wanted someone who would not give me something cookie cutter. Our florist was recommend to us by our DJ, who we also did love. After I visited Maryann Dawson’s website I was really interested in visiting with her in person. My husband and I would be in NY for the holidays (we planned our wedding from WI) and it was the perfect time to sit down with Maryann. I had ideas on the kind of flowers I wanted to use and she was right on board with me. Some of my suggestions she liked and in other cases she gave me alternatives I had not thought of. What I loved most about working with her was how knowledgeable she was about her craft. We booked in January of 2010 and our wedding was in October of 2011. For the next several months any question I had she answered right away. On the day of the wedding she showed up right on time with the most beautiful arrangements I had ever seen. All of the flowers looked fresh and perfect. For our table arrangements we opted for candles in glass with pressed fall leaves wrapped around the outside. When we arrived at our venue our table pieces came out just the way we hoped. Maryann, is an artist with flowers and truly creative with other decorating ideas. Aside from these great qualities she was warm and friendly. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to any bride.

My husband and I could not have asked for a more suitable floral designer than Maryann, whose professionalism exceeded all our expectations. Maryann was a constant source of inspiration and joy, which is exactly what kept me confident and going throughout the entire course of wedding planning.

Maryann has always responded to each e-mail and each question that we had, which ensured us of her dedication. She provided her input and her ideas to complete our initial vision of what our centerpieces and bouquets should look like and the result was simply breathtaking!

Flowers on the Porch was amazing! Maryann responded to my email right away and literally created exactly what I wanted. I LOVED my flowers, all of them- from the ones on the tables to my bouquet. When I saw the finished product on all the tables I nearly died- they looked amazing! She was excellent to work with and I would highly reccomend her. I would definitely use her again if I have another event.

I can't say enough good things about Flowers on the Porch! Maryann was a pleasure to work and designed the most beautiful arrangements for my fall themed wedding. For my bouquet, I wanted something different than the standard rose bouquet seen at many weddings. Maryann suggested many flowers I had never heard of that she knew would go well with my theme. The end result was beauftiful! Maryann also made pomander balls for my ceremony, did the flowers for my hair and decorated my cake. Everything was just perfect and I received many compliments from the guests on all of the flowers. Her rates were also much more reasonable than other florists I had spoken with. I highly recommend Flowers on the Porch!

Maryann from Flowers on the Porch did an amazing job with my wedding! She worked with my ideas as well as providing great feedback and insight. She worked with me and made my original 'vision' a hundred times better with her expertise, and made it all come to life on my wedding day. Maryann is fabulous. She is very easy to work with. My bouquet was prettier than I even imagined in my imagination! She was so helpful when it came to putting my vision into a reality. Received many compliments on my bouquets and centerpieces.

When my florist back out on me last minute, Maryann came to the rescue. With only two months to put everything together and within the budget that I had, Maryann did an amazing job and exceeding my every expectation. The flowers and bouquets for our wedding are still being talked about. I would HIGHLY recommend using Maryann. Not only is she great to work with, but she puts together some of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen.

We cannot say enough nice things about working with Flowers on the Porch! Trying to plan a wedding from afar is difficult (we live 5 hours from where we were married), but Maryann made at least the floral side of things stress-free and smooth. We met with her once in person at her home office, where she listened very carefully to everything we said and was able to show us different samples and photographs to make sure we were communicating effectively with her as to what we had in mind. She never pressured us- which was a breath of fresh air after dealing with so many vendors who try to upgrade you on everything!

We then communicated several times via email and even added on some extra things on our own after our initial meeting. We were doing our own centerpieces, but Maryanne was able to match the style glassware we were using so that everything was coordinated. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch with regards to the flowers- they arrived at the hotel, church, and reception in plenty of time. Maryann even had to rush at the church due to the wedding before us running over time, but the setup was incredible and done in no time.

Lastly, but certainly not least- the flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could carry my bouquet every day, it was so beautiful (and surprisingly light for how full it was). We went with a little bit of a non-traditional scheme of mainly wild flowers and sun flowers, and everything was just perfect.

Maryann of Flowers on the Porch has wonderful expertise in floral - who knew it would all be so complicated! ;) From seasonality, to what we will on your wed day, to what might stain your dress, etc. She is very thorough in the planning of these details. Her floral work is exquisite - she created the most beautiful arrangements for our wedding day, she has a very visionary, creative quality to her work - she is not doing what 'everyone else' is doing. If you want original, gorgeous arrangements she is the way to go! She is highly professional & timely in responding to your needs. I was planning a wedding long distance and she made herself available to talk despite the time change a nd responded to emails quickly. My mother and I both come from an event planning background so we wanted to be more involved in the creative and planning process of the flowers then is typical - we were able to join forces with Maryann so that we could bring ideas to the table and she was very skilled at turning this vision into a floral reality for our day. She was very patient with our wanting to be involved more than normal, as most vendors possibly would not be comfortable with this, and she answered every question on every little detail we had. She was timely on delivering flowers to multiple event sites on the day of the wedding so working with her was a breeze - she created no stress for our day, like some vendors can, as she follows direction very well & follows through on what she commits to do to make sure everything happens seamlessly on your big day. She also made sure to be educated on our various event sites ahead of time in order to help with the floral planning, as well as the day of execution.
