Hiring Thistle & Vine was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Gillian is incredibly organized, professional, and creative! It did not take much prompting from us for her to come up with some really wonderful ideas. The flowers were a dream. We truly appreciated Gillian's attention to detail and professionalism. The proposal she put together for us was really well thought out and made it very easy for us to envision what the floral vibe would be for our big day. Gillian was always responsive and it was easy to make changes where we needed to. We would certainly recommend using her for your wedding and we will definitely look to hire her again in the future for other events Also, the flower comb she made for my hair was incredible.

Gillian was absolutely exceptional—by far the most professional, friendly, understanding, and compassionate vendor I worked with for my wedding. From our very first meeting, she took the time to carefully review my Pinterest vision board and immediately identified and named the aesthetic I was going for, something I couldn't even articulate myself.
Throughout the entire planning process, Gillian was incredibly collaborative and flexible. When I wanted to make changes or completely alter arrangements, she worked with me without hesitation. When I decided to add another color to my scheme, she thoughtfully suggested new flowers to complement it perfectly. When budget became a concern, she helped me create smart solutions and compromises that preserved both my vision and the quality of the arrangements.
Even last minute, when I asked her to install drapery on my wedding gazebo, she went above and beyond. On the wedding day, she noticed the drapery I'd purchased was too thin and short to achieve the look I wanted. Without missing a beat, she offered to bring her own drapery from her studio, retrieved it, and installed it beautifully—all while staying perfectly on schedule.
Gillian is a true visionary who is deeply passionate about both florals and the people she works with. The flowers were the NUMBER ONE thing my guests complimented, and even months later, people are still telling me my bouquet and arrangements were "the most beautiful flowers” they'd ever seen. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience or person to work with. I almost want to get married again just so she can do my florals! Any bride who is worried about flowers or working with a florist should absolutely turn to Gillian and her team.

Gillian was extraordinary from our very first conversation. I came to her with a Pinterest board, a few nostalgic ideas and a dream of a Princess Diana–inspired cascade bouquet and she delivered it with such grace and artistry that it took my breath away. She wove thistle throughout my arrangements exactly as I’d hoped, giving everything this soft, romantic texture that felt deeply personal and connected to our story. Throughout the entire process, she was communicative, patient and genuinely invested, handling every last minute revision of mine with care. Her flowers were so beautifully made that I’ve been able to preserve many of them as keepsakes. Gillian gave me florals I’ll cherish forever - thank you!

Gillian and Thistle & Vine were absolutely incredible throughout our planning process and day of. Gillian sent the most thoughtful proposal where she thought of everything and more in terms of our flowers and my vision. She was flexible when there were some changes to our tables and came up with creative repurposing for all of the floral arrangements day of. The bouquets and arrangements were breathtaking. I could really tell she understood my vision. I am completely obsessed with all of the flowers from our wedding day and would book Gillian again in a heartbeat.

Gillian at Thistle & Vine is a professional florist, from the first meeting, she helped me to visualize my vision of wedding flowers with color design and flower images. After that, we had checkpoint meeting every month until 2 weeks before wedding to make sure the plan was finalized. The wedding decoration was beyond my expectation, everything is beautiful, unique, with natural styles. The only thing I wish to change is that the dinner decorations could last longer, because we rent glasses and pots, they removed just after dinner. I understand it is part of their work, but the flowers are so nice and they only use for a few hours. Overall, Thistle & Vine is reliable with good aesthetics, I highly recommend to hire them.
