Quality of Service: Justin takes many photos, lets you pick your favorites and then he edits them to look amazing (if you have special requests, he takes those too), then you get a disk of all the photos he took, plus all the photos he edited. This is really what sets him apart. Plus, we weren't happy with our engagements at first (it was crazy windy and my hair wasn't cooperating and the sun was beaming so we were squinting a lot)- we told him about it and he offered a re-shoot and we haven't been happier. He carried the 'must get shot' list around at my wedding and crossed through them as he got the photos. He really is great and does what you want - you just have to be sure you communicate it.
Responsiveness: I gave Justin a 4.5 in the section because I live on my email and it would take him a few days to get back to me on occasion. Other times, he would respond within minutes. I really am being very critical, just because I didn't want to make it seem like I put 5's across the board for all of my vendors. He was probably the 2nd quickest to respond by email. I used email mostly, but when I called him, he normally answers, no matter the time.
Professionalism: Justin is extremely professionalism and ethical. On top of that he is one of the easiest people to talk to. He really is a great guy and you will feel extremely comfortable with him. He's rather young so I feel like he's more like a friend than a vendor.
Value: Justin gave us an amazing price. We did the whole package - engagements, bridals, and 8 hr wedding day w/ two photographers. We are extremely pleased and I don't think we could have gotten the same quality for the same price anywhere else.
Flexibility: Justin is extremely flexible. Whatever we needed, he made it happen - and in a timely matter.

Justin Elbert with Elbert Photo would be a great choice. Definitely consider him - give him a call and just see how comfortable he will make you feel about it all. If you don't like something or want something specific, don't be afraid to request it.

Elbert Photography was phenomenal! Justin was so incredibly comfortable to work with and even stayed late at our wedding when our limo was running behind. We have so many amazing pictures of our reception that really show how much fun everyone was having. We have so many beautiful shots of every moment. His professionalism and genuine personality make him the perfect photographer to work with on any special occasion!

Justin did an awesome job. My husband and I are very happy. He was always prompt and ontime to every meeting. He offered great suggestions and I always felt very secure (no stress :P) about him being in charge of photography. We had our engagement pictures taken at the butterfly atrium at Museum of Natural Science in downtown Houston. They turned out really well. He helped us pose and had great ideas for pictures since my husband and I are not photogenic. :P He made us feel comfortable in front of the lens. On day of, he arrived early to take some pictures of my husband and the groomsmen and me and the bridesmaids. He helped keep the groomsmen from being too lazy and weasling out of the after pictures (they complained alot :P). During the wedding and reception, he was always around taking pictures. Never obtruisve or annoying. I think he did an amazing job. He stayed all the way to the end. My mom has nothing but wonderful things to say about Justin and so do I. Also, he was very reasonably priced in usually an unreasonable market (ie, weddings). He did a fantastic job. I was blessed with wonderful vendors for my wedding. :D Highly recommend to anyone needing a photographer.
