I always wanted custom invitations and stationary for my wedding, I just couldn't afford the custom price tag. Eileen was able to work within my budget, to make it a reality. She took my ideas and made them so much better. Her experience really gives her an edge for recommendations and suggestions while not keeping to the cookie cutter type invitations. She was so patient, focused and flexible---there is truly nothing more I could have asked for. She completely satisfied my expectations and truly went above and beyond.

I was fortunate enough to have Eileen's services for my entire wedding stationary selections from save the dates to her current project of mine, creating newlywed stationary. From the start, Eileen was eager to meet with me to discuss options, ideas, and gain an understanding of my vision for wedding stationary and how she could use her art to make it happen! She met with me at my home, brought her entire portfolio and selections of paper, ribbon, colors, etc., and a sampling of ideas she had already brainstormed and drafted! I was incredibly impressed with her professionalism, attention to detail, and communicaition skills. She actively listened to my needs and goals and was able to respresent them visually! She was in constant communication with me about the projects, sending me images to view and timelines of completion. Eileen created my save the dates and wedding invitation and all of my on site and ceremony needs. My guests were so impressed with her work and almost couldn't wait to see what she had in store for them next. From the invitation to the church progam and menu cards and place cards and table numbers her work was breathtaking and created the look of traditional modern sophistication I dreamed of. I received compliment after compliment on each piece even months after my event! I have never seen her quality of design anywhere else. And on top of it, she was a delight to work with. If you are looking for personalized, cutting edge design, I HIGHLY recommend Eileen for your important event- you'll be happy you chose her and you will be recommending her shortly after!

As a marketing professional and a budget bride, I envisioned matching paper products with my personal wedding "brand" on them throughout each stage of our event...but of course at a cost that wouldn't leave us strapped for honeymoon cash. =)
Lucky for me, Eileen works nearby and hosted me in her home to brainstorm on creative ways to pinch pennies and create an elegant design that would work on my invitations, thank-yous, programs and favors. We ended up with a product that excluded envelope liners and inner envelopes (better for the environment, I convinced my traditional self), and digital files for programs, favor labels and thank you cards that I would print at Kinko's to save a bit of paper/printing cost.
She was able to perfectly match the lace theme from my wedding dress with a beautiful scrolling pattern in print, and encouraged a more modern feel with green envelopes to match my girls' bridesmaid dresses. What a fresh solution for the bride who has her own sense of style that can't be found in pages upon pages of pre-designed wedding invitations!
As I assembled each invitation, I became more pleased with each envelope I sealed and was so excited to receive my green-enveloped response cards day after day. Now that the event is over and I'm going through items to save forever in my scrapbook, I am so pleased with the decision to have custom-made pieces.

Words cannot describe how happy I am that I found Eileen. I had a vision of what I wanted my invitations to look like, but I couldn't find reasonably priced, high quality invitations that fit that vision. Then I found Eileen on Wedding Wire and was immediately drawn to her designs - beautiful, clean, and truly unique. From our initial consult, I knew right away that I had made the right choice. She not only listened to my ideas, but she also provided great advice and creative tips to really make a fabulous final product within my budget. The best part was that we finalized everything through email, which was key due to my busy schedule. We ended up with matchbook style invites, envelope liners, and pre-addressed envelopes that far exceeded my expectations. I received so many compliments on how gorgeous and unique my invitations were.
I was so pleased with the invitations that we worked together again to design digital files (that I used to print at kinkos) for the escort cards, ceremony programs, bar signs and wishing tree sign to tie the design throughout the whole wedding. Eileen truly went above and beyond my expectations again. I LOVED each and every piece.
If you want beautiful, unique, affordable custom designed pieces for your wedding - pick Eileen! I highly recommend her services. Not only is she creative, but she is a doll to work with. I learned a lot from her, had fun designing the pieces, and can't wait to work with her again. :)

Eileen is awesome! She was so easy to work with and I basically trusted her to make my invitations, programs, table name cards, place cards and rehearsal invitation look amazing. She is stylish but works with what you envision. Highly recommend to any one. On top of that she is sucha nice person and so easy to talk to.

Eileen Newell just did my invitations and menus for my August 1, 2001 wedding. I met Eileen at the venue where we were planning our reception, Willowdale Estate, in Topsfield, MA. Immediately I was drawn to Eileen's work on display and knew I wanted to hire her. I was only in town for one week and Eileen offered to come to my parents house where I was staying to have an in person consultation. After showing Eileen some of my ideas for my wedding she immediately got a sense of what kind of invitations I wanted.
Soon after our meeting I began receiving emails from Eileen with mock ups in which I would give her feedback on the 30+ mock ups until I had a finished product I loved. Being able to work so closely with the designer even when I was in MD and Eileen was in MA was a lot of fun. I really felt like I got to help design my own wedding invitations rather than just choose some generic one from a book that a million other people had used for their wedding.
When I received a copy of the final proof in the mail I was out of my mind with excitement. I LOVE MY WEDDING INVITATIONS! They were exactly what I wanted, my mother and fiancé joked that they hadn't seen me that excited about anything else in the whole wedding including my dress. I guess it was just very important to me to have an invitation that clearly displayed my color scheme, was unique, and made a statement about what kind of wedding I wanted. I hoped that my guests would open the invite and think WOW this is a great invite. It turns out everyone did. I got so many compliments on my wedding invitation, I'm really not sure anyone else has really experienced that.
Now exactly one month after my wedding I still look at my wedding invitation and fall in love all over again. I am so grateful to Eileen for giving that to me. She was a pleasure to work with and was able to work around the fact that I lived in MD and my wedding was in MA. I also hired Eileen to do our wedding menus so that they would coordinate with the invitations and color scheme. Those also came out fantastic. As an artist myself I originally contemplated designing and producing my own invitations and other stationary. Luckily coming to my senses I hired Eileen which made my life a million times easier and the end result was probably a billion times better.

I have also called upon her to create my sisters bridal shower invitations and my new home announcements. Eileen is a stand out in the art of personalized paper design. Her attention to detail and ability to design works of art that reflect each event perfectly are second to none. I highly recommend Eileen Newell for any event you are planning.
