I found Duval Invites through a friend and I am so happy with the results of my invitations... I love them so much. One of my favorite vendors to work with. They even threw us in a freebie by doing our place cards for free.. Very professional and helpful.

I have not received my wedding invitations. The owner Dorothy Oge claims to have dropped my invites Fedex. The tracking number she sent to me never was found in the Fedex system. Fedex response was that the package was never in their possession. I asked her to provide proof that the invites were made and sent. She has failed to provide me with any documentation. I have called various times and left messages and she does not anwer or return my calls. The invites were supposed to arrive Aug.27 2010 and it is now Sept. 8 2010. I am now trying to recuperate 1,430.59 from her, two months away from my wedding, and no invitations.

Duval Invites was one of my favorite vendors that I used for my wedding. My entire wedding suite was lavish and worth the

I would like to say thank you to Dorothy and her team for doing such an amazing job on our invites, place cards, menus and programs. We got so many compliments from everyone saying that they were the best invites that they have ever gotten. =). I wish we could have done letterpress printing but Dorothy's recommendation for flat printing still looked great. Thanks so much for a beautiful job...

I had an awful experience. When I visited the website, I was pleased to see that all their invitations were unique and handmade. Granted, I ordered on a time crunch, but they assured me they could get them done on a certain date we agreed on. I got them in 2 weeks late, however that wasn't my issue. My issue was the workmanship and quality that I recieved in turn for paying $3500. Feathers were missing out of boxes, rhinestones fell of the embellishments, the printing on the return envelopes were off center, some of the invitations were taped and some werent, and some of the boxes were torn on the egdes and the paint was scratched off due to careless packaging, and I recieved no address labels. When I called to let them know about the situation, they argued that each invitation was handmade and wouldn't look the same, and that they never even saw the invitations before sending them. How can they argue about invitations they've never seen? She was completely unprofessional and started raising her voice at me. They advertise 100% satisfaction garuntee on their website, obviously that's not the case. She said I could send the invitations back for new ones, but with the wedding already being a month away, that solution was irrelevant to my particular situation. They offered no solutions and left me with rude comments. The invitations are my biggest dissapointment about my wedding. I am so upset that I've even taken action to dispute charges. Anyone that wants pictures, I have plenty.

I love love love love love my invites. They were spectacular.

We used this Etsy seller for wine bottle labels to use as table numbers. I inquired prior to ordering about ensuring that we would recieve everthing in time for the wedding and ended up paying extra for FedEx overnight shipping. After ordering I recieved an email stating that my order had shipped but there was no tracking number. A week later I emailed her again with no response so I called her store (phone number isn't listed on the Etsy site, but she has another online storefront). She told me that she promised that I would have them by tomorrow by noon (the day before the wedding). We waited all day, but nothing came and nothing got done for the wedding. I called her several times and she kept telling me that it would get there. Finally we found out that she had shipped them overnight via the regular post office (for less than $2 when I paid $13 for FedEx) and she had just shipped them the day before, not when she had emailed me.
She called during our rehearsal (hours after she said she would call me back) to say that the labels were delivered to the wrong address, but it was the post office's fault and not hers. She offered to print another set of labels for us if someone could pick them up at her store, which is in New Jersey (we live in Baltimore!). We had family driving down and tried to get her to meet them by the highway, which she refused. In the end she emailed us the template and my sister saved the day. She agreed upon a 50% refund but we never recieved it.

To all of my loyal customers I just had to reply to the comments left by guest Samar Shanti who was unhappy with her invitations. First and foremost we would never produce a product that was not of the upmost quality. Her invitations were custom silk pocket holders enclosed in a mailing box and adorned with jewels, ribbon, rhinestones and ostrich feathers. The normal turn around time for Couture Invitations is 6 months and her invites were ordered last minute. With that said her order was assembled overseas directly by our manufacturer in order to get her invitations shipped to her on time to send out for her wedding. She was aware of this process when she placed her order. We did explain that all pieces are hand made in addition all feathers are organic (real) and not synthetic therefore no one invitation is the same. I am sad to hear that Samar was so unhappy with her invitations and offered to have her ship them back in order to rectify the situation asap and also ship the invites directly to her guests to save on timing.
I would never want to make a bride unhappy and I am deeply saddened by this situation and apologize to Samar.

Dorothy from Duval Invites was so great. My fiance and I really wanted a custom invitation that would be different and unique to our guests and she made it happen. All of our guests wrote back on our rsvp card how pretty the invite was. She also designed our programs, menus, table cards and escort cards to match the invitation and our color theme of green and brown were carried out. Dorothy was very attentive and responded to our emails quickly. We did everything over the phone and email and it was very smooth. I would recommend her services to other brides.
