Danielle is very personable and was great to work with. I love how I looked at my wedding (and on top of that, my husband thought I was very beautiful!). Danielle arrived right on time to take care of my bridesmaids and I. She's very professional and told us what she was planning to do next ("I'm putting this mist on you which will hold your make-up for the whole day, etc.). Before she left, I told her that if I had an important event come up I would definitely use her services again. Thanks, Danielle!

Danielle did an amazing job on my makeup, and she was wonderful to work with. She showed up on time and was very flexible working with my three bridesmaids, my mother and my flower girl before even getting to me. We all looked beautiful and the photographs look amazing. It's clear that Danielle has a lot of experience; she's very knowledgable about skin types and tones. One of my sisters is very very fair, and my maid of honor is Hispanic, and Danielle had all the tools to go from one to the other without missing a beat. She was so much fun to work with, and I loved that she gave me tips and pointers while doing my makeup. I still use these tricks every time I apply.

Also, if you have a special event scheduled sometime before your wedding, consider booking a trial session with Danielle. My cousin got married three months before I did, and I had Danielle do my makeup as a trial. It was great to have my makeup done professionally for my cousin's wedding, but more importantly it was reassuring to know I was definitely booking Danielle for MY wedding.

Danielle is wonderful!! I highly recommend her. Not only did she do my makeup, but she also did all of the 6 bridesmaids and 2 mothers and everyone looked amazing. Some of the girls don't wear makeup regularly and she made them all look beautiful without them looking like they were wearing a lot of makeup. Everyone looked natural, but pretty.
Danielle is so nice and easy to work with and you can really tell that she has a lot of experience. When I went for my trial, I told her exactly what I thought I wanted for my makeup. She did it exactly as I explained, but what I thought would look good really didn't! She wiped it all off and started over doing it how she thought would be best and I am so happy I trusted her-it came out great!!
I think Danielle was also reasonably priced and if you are debating on whether or not to hire a makeup artist-DO IT! you won't be disappointed with Danielle and there is nothing like feeling beautiful on your wedding day! (and knowing that everyone else in the wedding party feels beautiful too!)

Danielle Ross Makeup was awesome. I am very particular about my makeup and I shared that I didn't want just the "natural bride" look. I showed photographs as to what I wanted as well. She took very detailed notes and was able to do a pre-wedding consultation and did everything I asked for. I was very happy with the results and she was very knowledgable about different make-ups, what works what doesn't. I loved how she explained everything to me before she even put it on my face. She has a great personality and we hit it off immediately. She was on time the day of my wedding and was already there starting on my bridesmaids as I was still at the hair salon. She definately has a great methodology when dealing with brides on their wedding day. She made me feel, calm but also made me laugh which is great. I loved my make up the day of my wedding and all of my bridesmaids did too. They raved and raved over her skills and how she made us look so beautiful!! Danielle was fantastic! She responded quickly to all of my requests and ended up doing a fantastic job on everybody in my party. Her prices were very reasonable and she was an all around fun and creative person.

Danielle was a great addition to our wedding! She not only traveled to the hotel we were getting ready in but brought all of her make-up (ladies it is a HUGE collection) bright and early. Danielle was great with my two nieces who had never worn make-up before and made it fun for them, she also reapplied before her departure as they had rubbed most of it off. Danielle explained to all the girls about make-up care, application, and gave recommendations for future use. Danielle went above and beyond to make sure that each girl had what they wanted. The make-up lasted all day and night even with a TON of dancing.

I used Danielle for my makeup in September 09, and absolutely loved the results. I left myself in her experienced hands, and let her experiment with color and style on my face, and was very pleased with how I looked on that day. I admit, I was very nervous upon our first meeting (I've heard horror stories about how makeup artists just do what they want and dont listen or end up using poor quality makeup, etc.), but those fears were soon allayed by her casual and easy to approach demeanor.

Danielle asked what I wanted, made sure to listen to my desire for an overall look, but was also able to show me new techniques that I ended up loving. She explained each step - what she was doing and why/what it highlighted, and the product she used for it. She stopped to verify halfway through that I liked the direction she was going (very helpful!). The best part (for me) is that Danielle was low-pressure, and made sure I understood what would happen on the day of the wedding. The make-up lasted all day (and I do mean all day - 630am -1030pm with only a bit of blotting and lipstick reapplication), and I learned several things about proper application and care.

Danielle catered to my schedule, showed up early, set up promptly, and was ready to work - even squeezing in time to do an extra person that saw her work and loved it on that morning. Her response to my inquiries was prompt and complete, she kept track of payments and details well. Her contract was simple, made provision for all eventualities, and her prices were extremely reasonable (a bargain!) In fact, I will be scheduling a personal makeup session with her shortly to learn some new techniques. I would recommend Danielle Ross to anyone in the area - even out of her immediate area, since she travels!

As an African-American client, I knew the finding the right makeup artist in this area would be a challenge! Danielle was the answer to my prayers. She even traveled all the way to Maine! She was able to match my skin color perfectly and I looked stunning for my special day! Not only was she professional throughout the entire process, she was friendly and her main focus was on making the client happy. She also made up other members of my wedding party and everyone looked amazing. We all received many compliments throughout the night. I would highly recommend Danielle to anyone who is getting married in the near future!

I was very happy with Danielle's work! She is very professional and very responsive. She travelled to the house we were getting ready at and did my makeup, three bridesmaids, my mothers, and grandmothers. She did a real good job! She is very experienced and easy to work with.

Danielle was absolutely phenomenal! I can say, truly and without hyperbole, that I never felt as beautiful as I did after Danielle worked her makeup magic on me. Not only was she a brilliant professional to work with, but she was an unexpected source of support during the planning process: periodically checking in with me to see if there was anything she could do to help out.

The day of my wedding, Danielle arrived a bit early and set up in a flash. She worked on three of my bridesmaids, my mother, my (now) mother-in-law, and myself (the bride) and was even done ahead of schedule. Her makeup is only of the best quality and it felt absolutely weightless once it went on. It also worked with my maid-of-honor's very sensitive skin. My mother-in-law audibly gasped when she saw herself in the mirror after Danielle had worked with her. "I look 10 years younger", she exclaimed (and still does to this day). The makeup lasted well into the night (easily 12+ hours after application), needing only an occasional lipstick touch-up.

When I decided to do a trash-the-dress shoot after the wedding, I immediately contacted Danielle. We had so much fun creating the vintage-1940s look I was going for. She applied fake eyelashes for the shoot and they held up well even 10 hours later.

I cannot recommend her highly enough! You will not go wrong with Danielle!

Danielle was absolutely AMAZING! She was extremely sweet and caring and carried herself with professionalism. Aside that, her makeup was flawless and she made me and my wedding party look fantastic! Our pictures are memorable because of her hard work! Go Danielle! :) I highly recommend her!

Danielle is talented and very easy to work with! I was very nervous about giving someone else the responsibility of doing my make-up the day of my wedding. I am so glad she did! Our trial run was helpful and on the wedding day, everything was the same - no surprises! Danielle was extremely professional and I was glad she went out of her way to make it to my Cape wedding. Danielle also did make-p for my mother and she looked fantastic!!!! We look great in the pictures and the make-up lasted all day. I will always recommend Danielle! And after reading the reviews, I wish I knew she sang too! ;o)

Danielle performed makeup services for me and my wedding party. She was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I was able to have a consultation with her prior to my wedding, so that I was comfortable and things went smoothly on the big day. Danielle did the make up for me (the bride) and for my wedding party. Everything was A+++ nothing short of fantastic. Danielle traveled from West Bridgewater to Sturbridge MA and was on time for my wedding.
I am the first to admit that I had a wedding party of 4 bridesmaids including myself. Needless to say, my wedding party gave Danielle a run for her money!! Everyone thought it was their day to shine and they were pretty demanding. Danielle handled everything very professionally and I highly recommend her for all your wedding needs. I strongly believe if Danielle could handle my bridal party with ease, she can handle anything!!!!!
I do not wear a lot of makeup and I have very dark circles, you would never know that I was prone to dark circles....my pictures came out beautiful and everyone commented on how great my make up came out. My make up lasted the entire day and night and was very natural looking.
One of my bridesmaids even put on self tanner hours before the wedding and it was all streaked and orange. In a panic, my photographer asked Danielle if she could work to correct it....Danielle did not have to do this and she did -- she wanted to make sure everything went perfect for me. I don't think anyone else would have been so accommodating.
I was so happy with my make up that I am meeting up with Danielle so she can "teach" me how to put on make up the 'correct" way....
I HIGHLY recommend Danielle to any and all brides looking for a great make up artist, especially one who is willing to travel to you!
