"Is there a word that's opposite of Stuffy? That's Graham and Brenda. I always look forward to working with these two at a wedding. I get the opportunity to watch many photographers at work, and Crown has an edge when it comes to professional combined with fun. What! A photographer who's good AND fun? Impossible! Thanks Graham for bringing that lovable, laughable disposition to work with you, along with your dedication to "best". You make the experience for your brides that much sweeter. And hey...you gotta love that accent! Rob Cross www.DontGetMarriedWithoutMe.com "

I had one issue with Crown Photographic after another. It all started after they got the full payment from my father, before then they were as sweet as pie. I scheduled my bridal portraits very early so that I would have plenty of time to choose my bridal portrait and receive it in plenty of time to have for my wedding day and for the photographers to get married in Europe. Crown Photographic took 6 weeks to digitally "improve" my portraits and get the CD to me. They had their wedding planned in Italy, so they gave me this CD a week before they went to Italy to get married and they were returning a week before my wedding. I knew this early, so that is the ONE reason I scheduled my portraits so early. I had ONE week to choose my bridal portrait and I was given the option by Graham, to have it delivered the Monday that they returned from Italy, WITHOUT a frame. This was also the Monday before my wedding, the busiest week of a girl's life. Well, Graham called my step-mom on that Monday and claimed to have a family emergency and that the portrait couldn't be delivered until Wednesday. I know this was a lie, because Northgate Country Club where I had my wedding told me that he was doing another bride's portrait's on Monday. Lying doesn't fly for me, especially when I'm paying thousands of dollars. As far as service is concerned, you have to be "on" 100% of the time. Brenda and Graham showed up at the wedding on time and did everything as they said they would for the wedding. However, it took them ANOTHER 6 weeks to have the DVD of the wedding pictures ready. They claimed they had used their programs to improve the pictures, but they took pictures with the other photographer was in the picture and left those on the DVD. I also had photos where they could have cropped out the orange water coolers or golf flags, but they left those minor details in the picture. So, when I asked to have these things cropped out, I was informed that it would be $75/hour with a minimum of 2 hours but that Graham felt confident that 2 hrs would be sufficient to get the job done. I think the 6weeks they had to do the job should have been sufficient to get the job done. Then it was time for the album to be finished, he took 3 extra weeks on top of the 3 months that it was originally supposed to take. Not to mention the threatening phone calls, of Graham constantly reminding me that I am not the only bride he is dealing with. He reminded me that I was selfish in wanting him to call all his other brides and tell them that I want my stuff now, so I they will have to wait. I don't think that this is professional. When I am paying ANYONE thousands of dollars, yes, I am expecting to be treated in a timely, respectful manner. As far as the pictures are concerned, they were good... they weren't anything that my aunt couldn't have done, with the exception of a few artistic pictures of people dancing. I cried when I saw them, because I was upset that I couldn't see faces and saw a lot of dark spots in the pictures. My dad ended up photo shopping a lot of the pictures and spent more money to get another album made.

If you want an honest, professional, artistic photographer... Crown Photographic is not for you! I'm sorry.

Crown Photographic responded with the following comments:

This bride is mistaken on multiple counts that are very inaccurate. She never paid for a framed photo and it was not included in her package. It was delivered without a frame because that is what she paid for. We were consistently professional and kind to her without fail so we do not understand that statement whatsoever. We have never been rude to any bride. She states she had ONE week to choose her portrait, HOWEVER, we according to her "gave her the cd ONE week before we left", but we were gone for 2 1/2 weeks, so she ACTUALLY had 3 1/2 weeks to choose her portrait which was never to be framed because it was not in her contract and she said she wanted to frame it herself. We also paid for overnight delivery so she would have it early in the week. We did have an emergency, a death in the family, on the Monday and had not shot a bridal portrait at Northgate that day at all. This is simply untrue regardless of what she claims she was told. We offered to deliver on Tuesday but we were told there was no one available to take the photo and we do not risk mailing photos, we hand deliver them to the bride. As for photographers being in photos, we will sometimes include one or two for documentation purposes or even photos of family members taking photos, this is a typical shot that obviously the bride doesn't understand is not a 'mistake' that we simply failed to remove from her photos. We tell brides before they sign the contract that it takes 8-10 weeks for the editing process because we personally edit every photo given to the bride and we do have other obligations during that time as well. As for the cropping issue, she had her wedding on a golf course and stated golf was important to her family, the coolers and flags were among her decorations and deemed part of the celebration. People were golfing through as the wedding was taking place. She requested an excessive amount of cropping after the photos had already been edited which we do charge for and clearly state that, up to and including her request to crop her own grandfather out of part of the ceremony photos because he was praying with a small bible in his hands but she stated it "looked like he was texting." She was given her photos earlier than the time frame given (less than 10 weeks) and was told that we did have other weddings completed before hers, thus they are on a first occurred first served basis. We were never rude to her, but she did not seem to understand this. There was never a threat made and I don't understand her waiting almost a year with no contact from her with dissatisfaction or complaint to find this very incorrect and inaccurate review on Wedding Wire. We delivered the album to her father's and step mother's address as instructed by the bride, they received the bride's album and stated they were very happy with the album. We never heard from the bride and assumed she felt the same. She never bothered to contact us otherwise. The album was hand delivered earlier than quoted. We always ensure all brides are happy and certainly would have reviewed her album had she bothered to contact us. We are, however, not surprised since she did make the comment to us regarding our death in the family "Oh that's what you get for to Italy." We respectfully request that this review be removed on grounds of total inaccuracy and falsehoods. Thank you.

I must agree with tigerlady and concur with her assessment. There was no confusion on the package purchased. There were several misleading and outright falsehoods presented in regards to the delivery of the final package/product. The quality of the pictures was "meets expectations". However, editing by the purchaser was done to provide higher quality artistic value.

Crown Photographic did an amazing job on my engagement, bridal and wedding pictures. My husband and I are using them again on our 1 year anniversary for a Trash the Dress session. I would highly recommend Crown Photographic to anyone looking for a professional, flexible, easy going, reasonable photographer.

They provided exceptional service and were very professional yet very attuned to my personal wants for certain pictures. I am able to look at my pictures and it brings me right back to my wedding day. Also, when I interviewed other photographers, they all had a time limit as to how much time they could spend with us on our wedding day. Graham and Brenda had no time limit and made me feel as relaxed as possible. I definitely recommend them and will always call them anytime I need a photographer.

Incredible people to work with! Graham's attention to detail was great. The photo shoots were so relaxing that we never realized what was going into each picture until we saw the finished results. We had so many pics to choose from!
