I had to write a review for Brooke & Pedro as they bailed on my wedding 30 days prior to the day! I had to rush to book another photog that would match the price. I had 3 options! Prior to this I loved them, they were really friendly, and responsiveness was great. They did do my engagement session which I received tons of compliments on.
Brooke Photography responded with the following comments:
We did not bail on the couple. The original photographer was not able to photograph their wedding and under our contract we found suitable replacements. We had 10 photographers that would match the price that was the same quality as us. Fabulous photos! We loved working with Brooke and her associate Alyssa. We would have liked to have more guidance for poses during the bride and groom photos, because they all had similar poses in the end. We loved all the candid shots they got and there were some beautiful shots of us in exactly the style we requested! They were professional, but down to earth, and she and Alyssa made us feel less nervous. My only suggestion to brides is to book them for longer than you think because we ended up rushing some activities in the reception so they could be photographed before our time was up! We definitely recommend anyone going with Brooke + Pedro photography!
Brooke and Pedro are a blast to work with. They got some amazing shots in the snow. I was a little disappointed about the shots of our first dance. We had it choreographed and we didnt get many good face shots of my husband and myself. They were super friendly and we got along great and they will do just about anything you ask of them. I love the pictures we have and they were so quick to get them to us. Our wedding was on 12-19 and picked up our pictures on 12-23. Can't do better than that!
I LOVE Brooke Photography!!!! Brooke is so creative, and Pedro as well. They had THREE photographers at my wedding! ( they got GREAT coverage!!!!!!) Jessi, the third photographer at the wedding was fantastic! She took the most unexpected, awesome pics! I thought they were fabulous, and so friendly, professional, and caring. I hardly knew they were there, yet, they covered it all!!! Thanks guys! Again on the time it took to book, just call Brooke or look at her calendar an her blog, and call her. If she is free, she will do it! :D
I would like to say that Brooke. Photography was very good at taking pictures of me and my husband at the wedding. I have several favorites. One thing I would have liked is if they might have gotten more of the guests. They did get some, don't get me wrong, I just would have liked a few more. Anyway, other than that, they are super creative, and have really cool ideas for photos. They also are very nice people. They go through Pictage for you to see your photos after the wedding, and I personally really liked that. It is a very professional site. These people are very dedicated to you and your wedding. They were super helpful too. Also, they ask for a list of shots you want, and do them :)
