What first impressed me about Bill were his photographs online. My husband and I are both artists and we saw an artistic quality in Bill's work that we appreciated. I don't photograph well and I feel self-conscious in front of a camera, but Bill's easy going manner and professionalism somehow put me at ease. I trusted his directions and as a result, we got some wonderful photographs! I can't thank him enough for "documenting" our special day so sensitively. He was quick to capture touching family moments before they disappeared. I am so glad we chose Bill!
Bill was awesome. I got married in early November and he turned out pictures around in two weeks. He even emailed my mom certain ones that she wanted for family Christmas cards. I found him easy to work with and organized.
The photographs were a major disappointment. Nearly 300 photos were taken, and there were no close-ups of the bride and groom. It appears that Bill Kreke was more enthralled with capturing the scenery. Every (and I repeat every) photo was a distance shot, much akin to what an amateur photographer would take. He tried to be too artsy as well, taking extreme close-ups of champagne glasses and name tags....who cares?? As far as flexibility, yeah right. Because of our disappointment in the photos, we were only interested in purchasing a few, maybe 50 or less. He would not accommodate pricing only 50 photos. It appears that 100 is the minimum and it is structured such that it makes more sense to just buy the entire CD of the photos and get the copywright for them so you can print what you want. On the surface he appears to be less expensive than others, but it just goes to show that you only get what you pay for. Would never recommend.

For those reading this: This couple were referred to me by friends of theirs who were already clients of mine. I believe that Rick, the reviewer, is the father of the bride. He was not involved in the photographic process at any point. This is seeming to me that the couple chose us because their friends chose us. They saw our samples when they hired us and they saw our work from their friends' wedding. They never said anything about our style not being what they wanted. Apparently the family felt strongly otherwise, but was not part of choosing us and so this review is how it is coming out. Just to close, this review was the first expression of dissatisfaction that anyone gave. I fully explained before the couple hired me that the only way to get image files was to purchase the entire disc. I would have considered an alternative had someone expressed their dissatisfaction. In fact, after reading this review, I contacted the bride to verify this complaint. She confirmed the complaint and expressed that she did share a little disappointment. Bill was so easy to contact and always got back to me very quickly. Anytime I had any questions he was there to respond with easy to understand answers. When we had to meet with the venue, Bill asked many questions and walked my husband and I through the place to look for where we'd like to have photos. When it came time for the wedding, Bill and Heather both were so easy to work with and made my husband, family, and friends feel comfortable and most of the time we hardly noticed he was there! He took both excellent candid shots and posed shots with everyone. I've yet to hear any bad comments about his photos. They are so clear and beautiful, that they make all of us look our best! I'd recommend Bill Kreke Photography to anyone for wedding shots, senior portraits, and even family shots.
I am very honest in my feedback. I would recommend Bill to anyone. Not only is he talented in his work, but between him and his wife, they are the nicest people to work with as well. He is as creative as you want him to be! Highly recommended!
We were looking for a photographer who was unique, creative and detail oriented, Bill Krieke was the perfect fit for our wedding. He has such an eye for the perfect picture without interfering with the festivities of the day. We have a coffee table album that attracts the most favorable comments to all who pick it up. Some of the most frequent comments are disbelief that a "wedding album" could be so awesome. I would highly recommend Bill Krieke to anyone and everyone who wants a unique display of the special moments of their special day. When thinking of the whole picture (the album, the day, the photographs, Bill's work) is the fact that he took the time to visit the venue and for the probable location with the best lighting, etc. possible for our remarkable record of the day.

I truly enjoyed working with Bill and his wife. We have received many compliments on our wedding pictures, and our families just can't get enough of them. Whenever I had a question or a problem, Bill responded within hours of my e-mails or phone calls. On our wedding day, our families were thoroughly impressed with Bill and liked that he wasn't "too in our faces" during the ceremony or reception. In fact, most of the time, we forgot he was there. He captured our wedding day in the best possible way, and everytime we look through our photos, my husband and I find something we didn't see the first time through. He was great to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone.
We hired Bill to be our photographer based on value for our money. After looking at his portfolio of beautiful images, we realized that we were not going to find anyone with as much talent for such a small price. He was very easy to work with, provided and accepted suggestions for images and returned our final product in a timely manner. Bill Kreke was very professional shooting my wedding in May yet by the end of the evening, we actually felt like he was a part of the family and not a hired vendor! I would highly recommend hiring Bill as your wedding photographer!
Bill Kreke did an excellent job photographing our wedding. His services were very professional and well organized. He made the whole process very easy for us by finding out what types of formal and informal pictures we hoped to get during the wedding and he came through and captured all of them. The quality of the pictures was very good as well. His wife helped him during the wedding so they were able to get some different angles of the same event. Especially nice during the ceremony. Bill also provided many different pricing options, which makes it easy on a variety of budgets.
I was very happy with the service that was provided from Bill Kreke Photography. If it wasn't for all of the pictures he had taken, I wouldn't have remembered the wonderful day that was shared with my friends and family.
