I found Barb and Belak by reading other reviews and recommendations and I have to say, all those other ladies were right! Barb was beyond awesome! I'm not a big flower person, I like relatively simple things. I had an idea of what I wanted and Barb was able to show me some pictures and help me create bouquets that I loved. My bouquet was the perfect size and my bridesmaids' bouquets were also the perfect size for them. Our corsages and boutennieres were gorgeous - she even included an extra one for the groom! The day before the wedding, Barb's husband called me to let me know that they had tried twice to get ranunculus in (the one flower I requested specifically) but the flowers kept coming in brown and moldy. Barb suggested lisianthus instead. I trusted her and said that was fine. Even with that small change, the flowers turned out so beautiful. I can't wait to see what they look like preserved!!

When there was a last-minute problem with one of the types of flowers I chose, Belak made sure I was OK with making a change to improve the quality of the arrangements. The flowers turned out beautiful and we got so many compliments from guests on the vibrant colors and beautiful arrangements.

Carrie is my husbands aunt and she works part-time for Belak. She did ours flowers on her own time, but ordered the flowers through Belak. We knew we could rely on them to get the flowers we wanted in time and the right quality. Carrie is an amazing floral designer. We've seen her work at family functions and at her parents house so we've always known how talented she is. She did such an amazing job on our flowers, everyone couldn't stop complimenting them. We gave her some inspirational images and some ideas we had and let her run with it. I was thrilled with the results.

Barb was great to work with. I don't know the first thing about flowers but she guided me through the process so that I felt confident we were on the same page. She had just the suggestions to bring what was in my head to life and was more than willing to work outside the box.

Belak Flowers did an amazing job as the florist for my wedding. Upon meeting with Barb as I was doing my vendor search, I could tell that she was skilled at her work, friendly, and very flexible. She had fabulous ideas and could offer me everything I wanted for a significant amount less than what other florists were charging. I met with Barb several times before the wedding, and she asked many questions to be sure that she had a grasp of my vision for my flowers.

Barb did the altar arrangement, all of the wedding party flowers, and the centerpieces for the reception. Everything was fresh, beautiful, and exceeded my expectations! My bouquet was exceptionally stunning...so much so that I wanted to bring it on my honeymoon with me to enjoy it more! I didn't want to go with the traditional white bouquet, so I suggested mostly pink and some orange flowers. That is exactly what I got, but everything was arranged more beautifully that what I could have imagined. The centerpieces were 3 glass pillars filled with water and fresh flowers with a floating candle on tope, and they were perfect.

Flowers are such an important part of your day, especially because they are in all of your photographs. I am so glad I chose Belak Flowers to be my florist for my special day. Thank you Barb and Belak staff for all of your hard work!

Barb was wonderful to work with, I gave her my budget and she came up with beautiful flowers for me and my bridal party. She is completely flexible and promises to get you want you want in your price range. I would work with them again in a heartbeat!!

Just like the other reviews left about Belak, I as well have to say that Barb was amazing and completely professional. She was able to turn my vision into a reality. Our flowers not only looked great, but the scent from the English roses were magnificent. I have referred two of my bride to be friends to Belak and know they will be just as pleased as we were.
As an added tip to those unsure, just make an appointment to talk to Barb, I can guarantee when you leave you will know that you have found your florist! I had another appointment set up that I was sure I'd probably go with, but one meeting was ALL it took for me to know I had found my florist and I instantly cancelled my other floral appointment.

My husband and I chose Belak Flowers because of their willingness to work with our budget and to help create our vision. Barb is amazing to work with for any event. She made the process feel like a true partnership. To our first meeting we brought pictures and colors and Barb created exactly what we had envisioned...but better! She brought us back for a preview and my husband and I were blown away. Our table centerpiece was absolutely gorgeous. Barb listened to what I wanted for all of the flowers and created something spectacular. I cannot praise her enough. My wedding was stunning! I plan on using Belak Flowers again very soon.

I love Barb and Belak Flowers! My husband, parents and I all really enjoyed working with Barb. As my husband said after our first meeting, "she got me."

We went in for a few samples, which was really helpful. And Barb had great suggestions on how to make my vision even more spectacular.

The day of, the flowers were all exactly what I had envisioned - and even better! The arrangements, the bouquets and the chuppah were just gorgeous.

I hired belak as our florist based on their professionalism at our meeting. They even had a large selection of pictures to look at for ideas. Most of the flowers came out well but I do recommend having samples made ahead of time because despite be very direct in saying what I wanted the original concept was well below my expectations. Also the gazebo flowers were not what I had ordered despite her having a picture that was a perfect representation of what I wanted without the roses which she said would be no big deal to add. Overall the decor came together and everyone liked the color combination so i was pleased.

This is a Delaware vendor, who traveled to PA to do our wedding. I can not say enough wonderful things about Belak! Barb, the owner, is probably the most responsive vendor I worked with. She always responded to emails very quickly, and told me time and again that I should never, ever hesitate to call her or email her about anything at all, so I didn't. I sent her hundreds of questions and she answered every single one with complete graciousness and flower expertise. I changed my mind tons of times about minor details, and she was completely unfazed by it. She really seemed to be very happy to be working with us, and was never, ever too busy for us. We chose Barb because after speaking with other florists in Philly, I just wasn't getting what I wanted for the amount of money we budgeted for flowers. I was frustrated and considered getting our flowers in DE to avoid sales tax. We also got a lot of bang for our buck because she didn't charge us for delivery at all, and her costs were much lower than the other Philly florists I spoke with. What I liked best about her was that on the first day I met with her, I walked out of the meeting with a quote immediately-- I didn't need to wait a week for her to decide on a price, like the other florists did. On the wedding day, our bouquets arrived on time with Barb to my room. They were gorgeous! She added a ton of extra flowers (more than we initially agreed upon) to my bouquet because she wanted it to be exactly what we had both imagined it to be. It was huge and stunning! When I walked into the ceremony, I was blown by the chuppah. I really hadn't thought there were going to be very many flowers on it, but there were a ton! It was SO beautifully done! Then, on to the reception-- My husband and I requested a sneak peak of the room before the guests began filtering in. When we walked in, our jaws just dropped to the ground! It was amazing! The centerpieces were more lush and larger than we imagined and were just breathtaking! She nailed it! It was EXACTLY what I had pictured in my head and never thought could happen. I was jumping for joy! Needless to say, I highly recommend Belak. Actually, the first thank you note I wrote was to Barb when we got back. She outdid herself!
