I live in Chicago but was getting married in Indy, so my fiancé, Nick, and I set up a day to go down and meet with different photography vendors. When we walked into Astra Creative and met Tabi and Armando, we knew our search was over. Their personalities and the studio’s laid-back atmosphere immediately put us at ease. I was very impressed by the range of options they offered for framing, photo books, video, etc. because they were able to customize for the things I wanted, and they happily came to Chicago for our engagement photo session. Having two photographers the day of the wedding brings such value because they both are capturing different things and can truly be in 2 places at once so nothing important is missed. After the wedding, they hosted Nick, me, and our mom’s to a homemade lunch and photo viewing session to go through and review the day’s events. I not only consider Tabi and Armando to be talented photographers, but artists as well. Their flexibility, vision, and kindness is apparent in everything they do. From customizing a video option to capture our vows and the toasts, to handling the framing and matting of our engagement picture that everyone signed at the reception, Astra Creative goes above and beyond as a vendor. When we walked in their studio we didn’t only gain talented photographers, we gained friends. There is not a better option for your wedding.

We really liked working with Armondo and Tabitha. The engagement and wedding pictures turned out great. My only complain is that their communication is awful. It takes them sever days to respond to an e-mail. I was told a specific timeline as to when the pictures would be done and both times they were late.

Proceed very carefully with Astra. We found little resemblance between their website photos and what they produced from our engagement session. Their conduct on the day of engagement photography was not very professional and did not result in quality photos.

Armando and Tabitha were amazing. Our video is a perfect representation of our wedding. My mom even started crying again the first time we watched it! Astra Creative was extremely professional. They were so behind the scenes that I did not even notice them at our event! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to capture video for their wedding that will be timeless!
