Wedding Photography in Downers Grove

Victor and Saoirse of Fox + Ivory were the most immaculate wedding photographers to document our Chicago Cultural Center wedding! Working with Victor was an absolute joy. From taking our engagement photos to the big day itself, Victor facilitated candid moments every step of the way. We are so happy we chose Fox + Ivory and can't recommend them enough. Thanks Victor!

Kate is fabulous! Very patient and most of all FUN! She has a great sense of humor and makes tense situations so much better. Her work is creative and beautiful.

Both photographers (Pitior and his wife) were great. They made taking pictures a joy. Anything we wanted they did. They caught pictures of unexpected events. We have not gotten our proof yet but I am sure that they will be great. The samples we saw were terrific. I can't wait to see them. Loved them!!!!!

Our wedding photos are stunning, breathtaking, and vibrant. He captured all of the most important moments and details of our special day. Our professional wedding album brings us back to that day every time we look at it. Art and Photo also took our engagement pictures and they came out great! Jess did an amazing job with our wedding photos! She actually was the photographer at my sister's wedding many years ago, and we were so happy she was available for our wedding this summer. Jess is enthusiastic and energetic throughout a very long day. She's open to suggestions (and listens when you need a photo break!) but also has great ideas for locations and shots that you may not have thought about. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and we're thrilled that we hired Jess!

My husband and I could not say enough about how wonderful Rebecca and her husband Jason are to work with! From our engagement session to our wedding day, Rebecca was so sweet, kind and so fun to work with! Rebecca made our photo shoots a complete blast and definitely always made us smile! During our photo shoots Rebecca made us feel so calm and relaxed. All of our pictures turned out AMAZING and we were so happy with each and every one of them! We will forever smile when we look back at some of the most special moments of our life!

I HIGHLY recommend partnering with Jill to capture your engagement photos and wedding day. Jill and her team know how to authentically capture the joy and magic of these major life events with artistic, sentimental flare. She is a true professional, who made us feel heard and prioritized when working together. On our wedding day, she and Kyle effortlessly led our family and wedding parties through the formal portraits, while maintaining a warm, calm demeanor. And the photos speak for themselves. These shots will be cherished and loved in our family for decades to come, and we cannot thank Jill enough for beautifully capturing these special, magical moments in our relationship. 

We used Terry for our September wedding. He was so nice and kind throughout the whole process. I feel that he went above and beyond in 2 ways...one was that unfortunately it rained on our wedding day. We planned on outdoor photography at the venue, so I was very upset that this could not happen. Terry helped relieve some stress when he said he and the 2nd photographer spent an hour before the wedding scouting out locations that he could use outside that had an overhang or some sort of protection from the rain. I haven't gotten my photos yet, but the preview of some of the outdoor ones you could not even tell it was a rainy day. The second incident came when the DJ was trying to tell me that we had to wait to do the first dance. He knew the photographer's time was about up, so he was going to tell everyone to take pictures with their phones of the first dance. Terry went to bat for me and told him that we could do the first dance and he would stay extra to get the pictures because he felt it was important. He could have easily said ok and left. He was more than willing to stay to get the shots. I thought that was great. When you book a wedding with fender and donisch you also get a free engagement session, which I highly suggest taking advantage of. Not only will you get some great pictures but it is excellent practice for the day of photos. You will kind of know how to pose and what to expect, and also what you like and don't like with the photographs. Terry really listened to me when I said what I liked and didn't like about how I looked in some of the engagement photos and applied that to the wedding photos. Plus the engagement session was a lot of fun and the pics turned out great. I'm sure the wedding ones will turn out just as great.

Jeff at Knotted Photography was wonderful!!! He was so easy to work with, and made our family and friends totally comfortable taking both staged and candid photos. The final photographs are gorgeous, and he captured the joy of the day perfectly. Guests were able to order prints online, and my husband and I received all of original jpeg files that we had made into a book. I am so happy that we had the photographs of our special day taken by Knotted Photography!!!
