Have a general idea of what type of flowers and colors you like before the Florist meeting. Try to have the bridesmaid dresses selected first. Bring any photos from magazines/ internet of flowers/bouquets that impress you... We will then go over several of my portfolios, and discuss what look/style suits you and your event best... There are a TON of options-- that is why it helps to have a general idea of the look you want first, to help navigate through the numerous possibilites. I send all new clients an event questionnaire, so that our designer has the initial information beforehand, so that during the consultation, we may focus on color, texture, availability, and style.
