Tips and Advice
When considering the content, look and components of their wedding ceremony I encourage couples to keep 2 things in mind - first, the tone of the ceremony should reflect the personality of the couple.  Don't try to make it something that you are not.  If you are laid-back, relaxed and informal then I suggest that your ceremony should reflect that.  Second, this is YOUR wedding.  While many people will have suggestions, ideas and even expectations of what your wedding should be, lovingly but firmly tell them that while you value and welcome their input, you will make the final decisions on what is to be included.   The process of preparing for your wedding should be an enjoyable one and a time that you will look back on with great fondness.  CELEBRATE this time in your life by having the wedding of YOUR dreams.
