Melissa & Jason are two of the most funniest and fun people that I have met in along time.
We worked with Melissa for our engagement photos which came with our package we selected. Those pictures turned out to be what I invisioned and then some. We also used her for our wedding photos.
I love how they use all the natural elements from outside & you to really capture some awesome photos. We let Melissa & Jason run with whatever they thought would look cool in pictures. That was the best
decision that we made we ended up with some amazing photos that we are both obessed with and can't wait to hang them on our walls in our home. Melissa & Jason are laid back but will have you laughing so hard your face hurts from smiling so much.
I cannot say enough about how easy it was to work with these two during our big day. Melissa kept us on schedule and we were able to make it to the alter on time. They both helped direct how to pose or fixed us if we needed to be posed differently. They are just fantastic and can’t recommend them enough!!

I'm beyond happy to have Melissa (& Jason) photograph our wedding. First of all, the preview pictures are absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait to get the full set soon. Beyond that, Melissa was a pleasure to work with, and helped keep me calm about making sure we got all the pictures we wanted! We ended up running later than anticipated, and rain threw off some of our initial picture plans, but Melissa was great at planning on the fly and dealing with what came up. She and Jason also made my husband and I feel very comfortable on the day, and took great care at making sure I liked the pictures and poses as we went. I cannot recommend Melissa any higher!

There are so many wonderful things to be said about Melissa and Jason! I love Melissa. From the moment we met with her, I knew she was the photographer we would use for our wedding. We went with the most basic package that she offers. She is super timely with responding to emails, she's friendly, funny and easy to get along with. Melissa helped with a ton of ideas for our wedding and even recommended other vendors to us. Her prices are very reasonable and we are glad we chose her. Her husband, Jason, also assisted with our photography. The engagement shoot session was a ton of fun and it made us look forward to our wedding day. Our bridal party said that they enjoyed both Melissa & Jason and thought they were such fun people. I loved that she has shot many weddings at our venue because it made things go more smoothly. She does amazing work and is so creative with the camera. We have only received a few of our pictures from our wedding day but I know she will not disappoint us. One of the photos she shared on her Facebook page is breathtaking and we have received so many compliments on it. Thank you for giving us memories to hold on to for the rest of our lives!

I was planning a Welcome Dinner at the AACA prior to my son’s wedding and needed a photographer to capture all the details I knew we would be too busy to notice. In addition to the expected photo candids of our guests, it was important to me that the photographer we used be able to also capture the uniqueness and magic of the venue. After speaking with a variety of photographers, I finally found Melissa McClain and pending her availability, I knew my search had ended. In our first conversation, Melissa provided me with the level of confidence I needed to contract with someone I had never met and whose work I was unfamiliar with. Over the course of the year leading up to the events, Melissa was always available to answer my questions and quickly responded to anything I needed. A few months prior to our event, I received an unexpected, and sweet package from Melissa as a thank you for my business. This gave me the impression that she did value our business and was vested in my event. I did not meet Jason and Melissa until the night of the event and yet, they immediately put us all at ease, got done to work and started creating our photo memories. Once our guests arrived, I hardly noticed Jason and Melissa in the venue – they were completely unobtrusive and in no way annoying. HOWEVER, when I did receive the link to my photo gallery, it was clear that they were EVERYWHERE! I had fabulous people photos, gorgeous photos of my food displays and a clear capture of the venue all this took place in. The entire gallery of photos proved to be what a great event we had and that my guests were enjoying it. The photos captured details which as the hostess, I never saw! I highly recommend using Melissa McClain. She was a pleasure to work with, gave me a great sense of confidence – even more important when dealing sight unseen with a long vendor – and delivered a high quality product. I am not sure what else I could have asked for.
