Simply the best

Melissa & Jason are two of the most funniest and fun people that I have met in along time.
We worked with Melissa for our engagement photos which came with our package we selected. Those pictures turned out to be what I invisioned and then some. We also used her for our wedding photos.
I love how they use all the natural elements from outside & you to really capture some awesome photos. We let Melissa & Jason run with whatever they thought would look cool in pictures. That was the best
decision that we made we ended up with some amazing photos that we are both obessed with and can't wait to hang them on our walls in our home. Melissa & Jason are laid back but will have you laughing so hard your face hurts from smiling so much.
I cannot say enough about how easy it was to work with these two during our big day. Melissa kept us on schedule and we were able to make it to the alter on time. They both helped direct how to pose or fixed us if we needed to be posed differently. They are just fantastic and can’t recommend them enough!!

Top Quality Photography Team!

Melissa and Jason were so much fun to work with! They were incredibly friendly, easy going yet professional, and very helpful throughout our planning process. They were both very easy going, yet professional and highly capable. They were fantastic at setting up shots, positioning us and overall making things interesting. We spent most of our time during photos laughing and generally having a great time! I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the Harrisburg area!

WONDERFUL photographer with AMAZING work

I'm beyond happy to have Melissa (& Jason) photograph our wedding. First of all, the preview pictures are absolutely beautiful, and I can't wait to get the full set soon. Beyond that, Melissa was a pleasure to work with, and helped keep me calm about making sure we got all the pictures we wanted! We ended up running later than anticipated, and rain threw off some of our initial picture plans, but Melissa was great at planning on the fly and dealing with what came up. She and Jason also made my husband and I feel very comfortable on the day, and took great care at making sure I liked the pictures and poses as we went. I cannot recommend Melissa any higher!

There are so many wonderful things to be said about Melissa and Jason! We looked for a while for a photographer for our engagement shoot and wedding and as soon as we met Melissa and Jason at a bridal show we knew they were the perfect choice! I couldn’t have asked for more perfect pictures for our engagement pictures and also our wedding day! They are so easy to work with, very responsive, & make the whole planning process so simple! We have had so many compliments from family & friends from meeting the two of them and seeing our photos about how amazing they are! We highly recommend them and I will definitely be using them again for more photos!

I love Melissa. From the moment we met with her, I knew she was the photographer we would use for our wedding. We went with the most basic package that she offers. She is super timely with responding to emails, she's friendly, funny and easy to get along with. Melissa helped with a ton of ideas for our wedding and even recommended other vendors to us. Her prices are very reasonable and we are glad we chose her. Her husband, Jason, also assisted with our photography. The engagement shoot session was a ton of fun and it made us look forward to our wedding day. Our bridal party said that they enjoyed both Melissa & Jason and thought they were such fun people. I loved that she has shot many weddings at our venue because it made things go more smoothly. She does amazing work and is so creative with the camera. We have only received a few of our pictures from our wedding day but I know she will not disappoint us. One of the photos she shared on her Facebook page is breathtaking and we have received so many compliments on it. Thank you for giving us memories to hold on to for the rest of our lives!

MMP was extremely professional and really were so easy to work with. Chris and Cyndi were so fun to work with for our engagement photos and the wedding day. Melissa made payments easy online and was super accommodating when all the wedding bills came at once. A wonderful experience and the pictures are amazing!

I was planning a Welcome Dinner at the AACA prior to my son’s wedding and needed a photographer to capture all the details I knew we would be too busy to notice. In addition to the expected photo candids of our guests, it was important to me that the photographer we used be able to also capture the uniqueness and magic of the venue. After speaking with a variety of photographers, I finally found Melissa McClain and pending her availability, I knew my search had ended. In our first conversation, Melissa provided me with the level of confidence I needed to contract with someone I had never met and whose work I was unfamiliar with. Over the course of the year leading up to the events, Melissa was always available to answer my questions and quickly responded to anything I needed. A few months prior to our event, I received an unexpected, and sweet package from Melissa as a thank you for my business. This gave me the impression that she did value our business and was vested in my event. I did not meet Jason and Melissa until the night of the event and yet, they immediately put us all at ease, got done to work and started creating our photo memories. Once our guests arrived, I hardly noticed Jason and Melissa in the venue – they were completely unobtrusive and in no way annoying. HOWEVER, when I did receive the link to my photo gallery, it was clear that they were EVERYWHERE! I had fabulous people photos, gorgeous photos of my food displays and a clear capture of the venue all this took place in. The entire gallery of photos proved to be what a great event we had and that my guests were enjoying it. The photos captured details which as the hostess, I never saw! I highly recommend using Melissa McClain. She was a pleasure to work with, gave me a great sense of confidence – even more important when dealing sight unseen with a long vendor – and delivered a high quality product. I am not sure what else I could have asked for.

Melissa and her husband Jason were spectacular photographers who accomodated our requests for specific photos. We got married in Gettysburg and wanted to take some shots at specific monuments at the battlefield. After having checked in with the Park's service, we were able to take the most amazing photos. Melissa and Jason are great compliments in such shoots since they have different styles; Melissa is more natural light, casual poses while Jason is more photo-journalistic realism. He also captures candid moments in very unique ways. From big moments to small, they really go the extra mile to chronicle your special day in photos and to make you laugh along the way. Their humor is infectious and immediately puts the whole bridal party at ease. Oh, and did I mention Melissa shot our wedding while pregnant? Talk about a trooper! Could not be happier with the photos we've seen to this point.

And if you want a boudoir session - Melissa is your gal. I do not have a perfect body and there was never a moment that I felt extremely self-conscious during the shoot. Looking at the resulting photos, I felt sexy and proud of myself! Melissa has a way of capturing the best side of a woman in a way that empowers her to see herself the way she actually is and I love that! Thank you Melissa and Jason for the work you do! It is truly amazing.

My mind is blown. I have never felt as beautiful as I feel when I look at the pictures provided by Melissa McClain photography.

First off, it rained on my wedding day. I knew it was going to rain a few days before, and I received a message from Melissa, telling me she knew how to make pictures awesome during the rain, and it was going to be okay. Now, I'm a Type A, stressed out bride, so getting such a quick, awesome message early made me feel 10000000% better. And let me tell you, my pictures were GREAT. We got amazing rain shots, shots under umbrellas, not to mention beautiful portraits of my bridal party and my husband and I.

The professionalism of this team is great, but they also make you feel like family. There were a lot of vendors we picked over the course of weeks, but we picked Melissa McClain photography within a few minutes of meeting the team, and never regretted the decision.

Our wedding was on September 24, 2016. The ceremony was at the historic Gettysburg Lincoln Train Station and reception at the Gettysburg Hotel. Melissa and Jason, our photographers, were absolutely amazing! The quality and beauty of the photos they've captured are outstanding. They provide amazing value for the cost of their services. Our contract included an engagement shoot, USB thumb drive of our pictures, an album, 1 year of online access to our pictures, my wife had a glamour session, and we had 8 hours of photography with them during our wedding day. During the ceremony and reception, you'll never even know Melissa and Jason are there unless they specifically ask you to do something. They are very flexible and accomodating in the planning phase. Melissa helped us plan our timeline for the day and captured all the pictures we asked for. We even had time to take a limo out onto the Gettysburg Battlefield with our wedding party and take some amazingly beautiful shots in the park. I have received many complimentary comments from our guests about how beautiful Melissa's pictures are. We loved the 2-person team aspect of their photography, which got different angles. Melissa and Jason both have different styles too, which diversifies the kinds of pictures you will get. They are very creative and it's amazing what they can do with the light and exposure creating some amazing photos. We are very pleased and I know we will be asking Melissa and Jason for their services again in the future. Highly recommended!!!!

Melissa and Jason were AMAZING! We could not have found better people to capture our wedding! Not only are Melissa and Jason extremely easy to work with, but they absolutely *got* our sense of humor and made the experience of taking formal portraits in 95 degree weather fun. They are the perfect amount of involved - they ask questions when needed and make decisions just as easily. Simply the best. Jason and Melissa were excellent in every way - brought humor to the day - suggested pictures and poses both during the advance call(s) and day of. They did our engagement shoot in the snow and worked with us on NYE for our wedding and didn't complain - in fact Jason even got down in the snow to get some shots of us. Our pictures turned out incredible and we received them very fast after our wedding. I don't have any negative thing to say about them and I highly highly recommend them for your wedding.

Melissa and Jason were amazing! We could not have selected a better photographer for our wedding day! Our dogs were a big part of our wedding and they made sure to incorporate them into the pictures without a problem! The lighting and picture quality is amazing and went beyond our expectations. My husband and I worked with Melissa and Jason and we are absolutely thrilled with the service we received. They are amazing people to work with, very easy going and flexible. They did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos and everything has turned out amazing. Melissa also did boudoir photos for me as a wedding gift for my husband and they were fantastic as well. They are full of personality and from the moment we met them we knew that we had to use them for our photographers. When you book with them you get two photographers for your engagement photos and for your wedding day which produces many fabulous pictures to treasure for years to come. They were also quite helpful with recommendations on other vendors and were very quick at getting back to us with any questions we may have had. Strongly recommended!!! Melissa and Jason McClain were our photographers for our wedding in Gettysburg this May. During the planning process we were looking at a few different photographers and the McClains won us over instantly during our first meeting. They are warm, funny, honest, and truly care about their clients. We did our engagement photos with them as part of the package we selected. They made us feel comfortable and we had a ton of fun. Melissa gave us suggestions on where to do the shoot and tips on what to wear. They also have a blog with tips and advice on a variety of wedding photography topics (how to make the most out of getting ready photos, upcoming wedding trends for the year, finding your wedding inspiration).

Their packages and pricing are quite reasonable especially for how beautiful and high quality the pictures are. They have a quick turn around for the pictures and your family and friends will all love them. A colleague of mine saw some on Facebook and immediately commented on how great our photographers were.

Melissa and Jason are not only wonderful photographers, they're also wonderful people. They made us feel so comfortable throughout the process and always responded quickly to any question.

We were very fortunate to have Melissa and Jason be our photographers for our wedding reception. They came highly recommend by our event planner and the DJ for the reception was excited to work with them as well. It was great to have assurance from two different professional parties before the final decision. Melissa and Jason are extremely professional and highly knowledgeable about what they offer. They made taking wedding/reception photos actually enjoyable, granted that it was very cold for all of us that day!!
The final photographs are amazing and each one definitely has its “thousand word” worth. We can’t wait to send photos to family and friends and make many more copies just for own amusement.

Melissa and Jason were an amazing team. They really went above and beyond with us. We had several issues with other vendors (even one who didn't tell us she didn't book us) and Melissa would always have helpful suggestions or other vendors we could check out. This just shows how they aren't just dedicated to the photography, but to the couple. We had a fantastic engagement shoot which they happily incorporated a nerdy D&D engagement session into and we really got to enjoy how much they became friends to us. Their photos are spot on, and they captured moments that were both hilarious (my little sister secretly shoving her mouth full of smores) and touching (the little moments of my husband and talking to each other, for example). They are in no way intrusive when they take photos and always try to make sure you look on point. Their photos are creative and really tell a story. They also are very affordable as well as they work with military couples. They were our absolute favorite vendors to work with and I can't continue praising them enough without going on for pages and pages. They are new friends, wonderful photographers, and I am so happy they were included in our special day!

Melissa and Jason photographed my wedding at the Brandywine Manor House in Honeybrook, pa on December 13, 2014. Both Melissa and Jason were extremely helpful though the whole wedding planning process. I often emailed Melissa with questions, and she would respond quickly. On the wedding day Melissa and Jason worked very well with my bridal party. They were open to suggestions and they worked wonderfully with my venue to help create my winter wonderland theme. My guest still continue to comment how Melissa and Jason seemed to be everywhere taking pictures. I was completely relaxed with them, and would recommend them to anyone!

Whitney and Scott were great!! From the engagement photos in DC to our wedding photos in Baltimore, we are immensely pleased. Melissa and Jason were absolutely awesome to work with. We had been planning our wedding through the struggles of distance between a deployment and my husband being stationed overseas, but we felt very much at ease from the first, very personalized e-mail response from Melissa to the coorespondence following the wedding. Their communication throughout the planning process was flawless and come wedding day, Whitney and Jason were on time, extrememly organized, and a blast to work with. I couldn't be more happy with our decision to use Melissa McClain Photography and Whitney and Christin as our engagement and wedding photographers. The day of the wedding, they showed up right on time and got right to work capturing both my husband and I getting ready. They were great at getting us used to being in front of the camera and not feeling "staged". We did a first look, and they made sure it was a quiet, special moment for us, but also managed to capture all the emotion without interfering.
Within two days, a sneak peak of our wedding was up on Facebook. Friends and family were contacting us right away wondering when and where they could see more pictures, and telling us how amazing they looked. We are able to go online and preview the pictures as they are edited and added to the site. I'm amazed at how beautiful they turned out. Even the dance floor pictures look like they were taken in perfect daylight (we had colored uplighting and dance floor lighting from our DJ).
Whitney and Christin made sure to take all of our "must have" photos and didn't bat an eye at our last minute additional requests. They had unique ideas for our bridal party and bride/groom poses and made our personalities show through. When it was nearing the end of their time with us, they made sure to check in and ask if there was any additional specific pictures we wanted.
I highly recommend Melissa McClain Photography, especially Christin and Whitney. I will be booking them again for any future photography needs. Thanks guys, it was so much fun working with you!!

We worked with Melissa and Jason for our engagement and wedding day photos and we did not regret it! This quirky husband and wife were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. They are really creative, funny, genuine, awesome people with talent, vision, and years of expertise in the business. We planned from out of state and they were super easy to work with via a combination of email, Skype, and phone. They were also very accommodating to our scheduling needs. All of our photos are beautiful and they were beyond helpful for recommending other vendors who ultimately made our day perfect. We even got a little bonus wedding surprise from them. I cannot put into words what an incredible experience we have had with Melissa McClain Photography. They did our engagement pictures and we continue to get compliments on them. We had a great time with them on our wedding day. They seem to have captured private moments from afar that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. They took great photographs but were never in the way and were never an inconvenience. We had Melissa and Jason for our engagement photos and Jason and Heather for our wedding and I would recommend both pairs to anyone for any event. They put out an iPad with a sample of photos at our reception and our guests raved about the images and we have been receiving a continuous flow of inquiries as to when our pictures will be ready because our guests are now as excited as we are to see the final images. Fantastic experience. We could not have asked for better!!

Wow, wow and WOW! Finding a photographer is one of the most important pieces to a successful wedding and we feel that Melissa and Jason (and Whitney) completed exceeded every expectation we had-and our guests felt the same, as well!

My husband (yikes!) and I live in North Carolina but had our wedding in the town that I grew up-Gettysburg, PA. Our forms of communication consisted of Skype, which I LOVED, and tons (I mean tons) of emails-mainly on my end as an anxious bride. Melissa was super quick to reply with every answer to my question, suggestions about other vendors and tips on how to stay sane during the process.

Both her and Jason were super fun during the engagement session and when we got the first sneak peek of photos (the day AFTER the session, might I add!!!), we were BLOWN away and I knew we had made the best decision when choosing Melissa McClain Photography.
Within 5 days of our wedding, we were notified that our gallery had gone LIVE with a large amount of pictures, and more to come-wow! They are amazing and thinking back to the day, I didn't even recognize Jason nor Whitney standing in certain locations to capture images.

I cannot rave enough about this amazing husband and wife pair, as well as their teammate Whitney (we were blessed with another staff member when baby mama Melissa found out she was expecting, and shortly after our wedding!) Guess what...Melissa was STILLLLL there, 8 months preggers and all-now that's service, my friends! Cannot wait to see baby McClain in his little "tuxedo" onesie :-) Congrats and thanks so, so much for everything!

I have nothing but excellent things to say about working with Melissa McClain Photography on my wedding and engagement photos. I worked I worked with Whitney and Heather and they took beautiful photos. They listened to what I wanted in photos and it shows in the final pieces, they are not your standard posed photos. We found Melissa McClain Photography because we were looking for an affordable hourly photographer for our small wedding. Christin and Whitney incorporated our personalities into our day perfectly. Jason and Melissa were wonderful to work with from day one. They are down-to-earth, easygoing and flexible. They were able to accommodate our wedding date moving up by a total of ten months! So far, the pictures are beautiful and capture the love and magic of that day perfectly. During the ceremony and reception, you won't even know they are there (and I mean that in the best way possible). They have a knack for capturing those perfect candid moments you want to cherish forever. Highly talented, professional and fun-loving! HIRE THEM! I really can't gush how much I loved having Melissa and Jason as our photographers! I do some freelance photography myself, and my husband used to do photography art, so we can be very picky when it comes to photography - but they were really awesome. They were also really fun (and funny) people to be around, and it's really obvious how much they love each other and their jobs, which makes the whole experience more comfortable and happy. They're the kind of people you just want to like and be friends with.

They gave us a wonderful recommendation for a DJ/lighting, and they worked seamlessly with the DJ and caterers.

One thing they did that was really neat was during our meal: they loaded some of the ceremony images onto an iPad for us (and passing guests) to view. Everyone who saw it thought it was so cool. They were completely unobtrusive and still got some great shots.

It also feels good to be working with a vendor so environmentally conscientious.

Melissa McClain Photography is a husband and wife team that excel in their profession. They are warm and caring and you feel like you have known them forever after one meeting. They are professional and flexible with scheduling. We also had our engagement photos done with them and they even let us bring our pup with us. Pets are family too! Melissa and Jason are by far the best photographers I have ever worked with. They came out and checked out our wedding destination. Gave us plenty of terrific ideas. They captured every moment, helped us make memories and even made us laugh. I would recommended them to ANYONE. When I first met with them, I walked out of the cafe and told my bridesmaid and my mother, they were the one. They are professional, courteous, and willing to work with you. One word. Fantastic. MMP was a huge blessing through out the wedding planning process and wedding day. They went beyond being photographers and offered guidance, recommendations, and a listening ear. In regard to their photography, their work is unable to even be compared, and their attention to detail and creative ideas is so very refreshing. My only do our wedding photos capture the important moments, but they show the indescribable feelings throught the day. MMP will be the only photographers we use for our future family photos, infant portraits, etc. They are photographers who care but best of all, Melissa and Jason, as well as everyone who works for them, are just great people. The team at Melissa McClain Photography was AMAZING to work with, not only on the day of the wedding but also the entire process leading upto and including our special day. From the first time I contacted Melissa McClain to the most recent, they were quick and super friendly in their responses, and for convenience were available via email, Facebook, text, and phone. They were also very upfront with us.

Melissa, Jason, and Scott photographed our engagement session, and the pictures turned out beautifully. They really have an eye and talent for what they do. Plus, my bridesmaids were all raving about how comfortable they made them feel. They are even a great judge of character. For example, during our wedding shoot, Scott gave one of our groomsmen the assignment to pose everyone in the bridal party for a photo. Our groomsman was a natural! The picture is hilarious, and it was a fun and memorable part of the day.

Finally, I would definitely recommend them for a photo booth. Instead of the automatic booths that produce blurry pictures and small prints, Melissa McClain designates a professional to take the photos, which are printed on nice 4x6s. Then you get a disk with all the images. They even supply all the great props! As an added bonus, the photographer who mannned the booth also took photos before and during our ceremony, so we had 3 photographers capturing our wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about this group of people! It was a pleasure to work with them. They are so down-to-earth but still so professional!

For the short and quick, just wanting to know whether to book or not readers:

BOOK THEM! Best decision you can make will be to work with Melissa McClain Photography!!! They were AMAZING; prices were great for the amount of work and time they put in!! I did engagement, bridal, wedding and have a boudoir session coming up with them. It's a 2 hour min drive each time I go to see them, but I wouldn't trust anyone else!

For the brides want the nitty gritty details of MMP's awesomeness:

Let's start with when I first met Jason and Melissa, they were so easy to talk to, they had lots of great work to show me AND were honest about what products did what in their packages. Like how one of the photo book companies products hold up better, (even when kept in the trunk of your car.) They listened closely to what I was looking for as a bride, even taking the time to draw out a sketch of my venue (which they knew well) and explain how they would do the ceremony pictures. This was a big concern for me because I had just come from 2 weddings where I did nothing but stare at the photographer walking in, around and through the wedding party getting close ups during the ceremony. After spending more than an hour of them getting to know me and what I was looking for, and me getting to know them and their work, I was pretty sure I was going to book them. After several more phone calls and meetings, no one made me near as comfortable or excited as Jason and Melissa. They truly shared my enthusiasm, and excitement. That's not something you can fake!

Onto the engagement session:

Originally I only booked them for the wedding (because of the 2 hour drive thing). 6 months later when I decided I wanted to do engagement pictures, they worked with me and got my now husband (!) and I in front of the camera quickly to get some great shots to use for our guest book at the wedding. Steve, my husband, wasn't able to attend the initial meeting with them, so he was very nervous about getting the pictures done. Jason and Melissa made it super easy for him to relax in front of the camera getting natural pictures that really show who we are as a couple and how we interact. By the end of the session Steve was as excited about them shooting our wedding photos as I was. Everyone who has seen our engagement pictures has absolutely LOVED them. We had such a great time!

Then came Bridal portraits:

Again, little miss indecisive over here decided to add bridal portraits to the mix about 3 months after the engagement pictures, emailed Melissa - No problem at all. Got me in for a great session AT my venue (all Melissa's doing!) I brought a friend with me this time to help wrangle my very big, very me, wedding gown. Jason and Melissa were ready and excited when we arrived at the venue. While I finished getting ready they got some amazing shots of my wedding ring set. The creativity in those pictures alone is crazy! They had several spots ready for me to shoot and as soon as I was ready they got to work. It was just as much fun working with them for the bridal portraits as it was for the engagement session! I spent most of my time laughing and having a great time. It was at my bridal portraits I realized what a well-honed team MMP is. Both Jason and Melissa were taking pictures, with different cameras and different lighting (Melissa was using natural light and Jason was using the fancy flashes.) They worked quickly and efficiently together anticipating what the other was doing so I was never feeling overwhelmed or confused about what was going on. They were great about making sure all makeup and hair was still fresh and perfect for every picture. Just as my previous two meetings with them, they were just as much fun to be around and do pictures with!

WEDDING DAY!!

Come wedding day I was super excited when Melissa arrived at the girl’s room to get some shots of us getting ready. She had all the girls laughing and was awesome about getting great shots, without shooting anything that shouldn't be seen. Jason and Scott worked with the guys, and well, I can't say exactly what went on there, but when they all were all smiles and jokes at the group pictures, I can only assume it was just as awesome. I can attest to the pictures, and they got the boys personalities perfectly. They were perfect at the ceremony, getting great pictures without ever being distracting for the guests. Our ceremony started a little late due to the shuttle being delayed, but they managed to keep us on schedule by quickly getting all the family, wedding party and couple shots done. But not once did I feel like we weren't getting the right pictures or enough. Scott, Jason and Melissa were all shooting like maniacs from different angles and catching so many quality images. Steve and I just sat back, followed directions and laughed. :-) The reception pictures are, again, amazing! They got such great pictures of everyone having a great time. They even had a little surprise for Steve & I during the reception, I won't tell what it is though, because I don't want to ruin it. But it's amazing and awesome, and really something I would never have expected and was a huge hit with the guests (and us!).

General comments about working with MMP:

They accommodated every request I had and knew exactly what I was thinking and delivered on point. Their style of photography is simply stunning. The emotions and texture they can capture in a photo is breath-taking. Our friends and family all loved the engagement, bridal and wedding pictures. MMP has been great about answering my emails/ phone calls with questions, suggesting vendors and just giving overall helpful advice. They worked hard to get to know Steve and I as people so that they could capture that in our pictures, and it really shows. They have gone above and beyond every time we have seen them. I don't think I could have chosen better photographers to capture the memories I will have for a life time. Jason and Melissa have become two people I consider friends and am genuinely glad I have had the chance to get to know them.

MMP, a husband and wife team, are absolutely the BEST photographers anyone could ever ask for on their wedding day. Not only do they capture beautiful, natural moments, as well as stage artistic shots, but on the day of the wedding, they were really a blessing to have on hand. They were so professional, calm, and helped us feel relaxed, even when things got a little stressful for an anxious bride. Honestly, I cannot praise these guys enough! They're also a great deal because you get 2 highly professional photographers for the price of 1, in many cases.

They were great! Personality wise they are the easiest people to get along with they are so nice and helpful. They take amazing pictures! I couldn't have asked for a better photography team.
We also had a photobooth through them with our wedding and it was a hit I highly recommend that if you can.
If you want your pictures to turn out wonderful and actually like the people taking pictures of you all day go with them, you will not be disappointed i promise :)

We used Melissa McClain Photography for our engagement pictures and we were so thrilled with the quality of pictures they took that we immediately booked them for wedding as well. The photographers are knowledgeable and professional, they take interesting, creative and beautiful pictures, and their attention to detail (the backgrounds, the timing of the pictures so they capture the colors in the sky, the way they help position you so you look your best) and the way they capture you in a natural way is just awesome. We have seen some of the pictures from our wedding and I just cannot wait to see the rest! I HIGHLY recommend using this photographer. You are guaranteed to get pictures that you love at a price that is affordable for the quality service that they offer. Melissa McClain Photography was great to work with. They were very responsive to all my emails. On the day of the wedding, I was running behind schedule and was not ready for my "getting ready" shots, but Melissa and Jason were wonderful about it. They said to take my time. They utilize their time very well and grabbed great shots of my dress and shoes in the meantime. They worked on our schedule and you could not tell they were even there until they send you the AMAZING shots they took. They make pictures look like a story is being told.

I cannot imagine our wedding without Melissa and Jason (and crew) at MMP.

They are amazing. Incredibly fun and easy-going and the pictures are aboslutely fantastic. It was just like having a group of great friends around who just happen to be your photographers. Seriously - contact them right now. You will not regret it.

We booked MMP for the wedding and engagement session, and also booked their photobooth for the reception. We've seen a handful of previews from the wedding and I cannot describe how amazing they are - they have an eye for great shots and really know how to make you look good!

The photobooth is an aboslute must. Really, get it. MMP was incredibly flexible with us on pricing out a package so that we could get the photobooth and stay on budget. It was a huge hit at the reception, and they have an amazing prop box to go with it. Everyone, even my elderly relatives, were getting in on the fun. Your guests get photos printed rigth there, and we will get a disc of all the photos taken in the photobooth. I can't wait! It's a great way for the family to get fun, candid shots. Did I mention the awesome props?

Melissa and Jason are an absolute joy to work with. They are completely worth it. If we could, we would hire them as our personal papparazi for everyday events. Really - why are you even still reading this? Go. Look at their pictures. Contact them now. They are awesome.

Melissa McClain Photography is wonderful! The pictures they took were so creative and definitely outside of the normal posed wedding shots. The entire team made my husband and I feel wonderful. They focused on what we wanted, and were very flexible with our families and guests wants as well. We felt like we were having our pictures taken by a group of our friends.

LOVED working with Melissa and Jason for our wedding photography!!! They were absolutely wonderful! They were very professional when they needed to be but i felt like we could joke and talk to them like they have been our friends for years! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! :o)

Melissa and Jason are amazing! They are very down to earth and understanding and also very professional. They came to our wedding fully equipped with all cameras/lights/backup and had creative ideas and were willing to work with whatever plans we had in mind. Not only did we get the best looking pictures we could have imagined, but they were able to capture our wedding at a vey affordable price!

We could not have asked for a more perfect photography experience! Our entire famliy and bridal party felt comfortable with this team. Melissa and Jason are so respectful, professional, and warm! They made sure that we stayed on schedule and they allowed us to be ourselves, they just captured our day beautifully! During the planning process, they kept in touch and answered any questions we had. They were also helpful in recommending other quality vendors! We got to test drive the photo booth at our event and all of our guests loved it! We can not wait to see our photos! I would recommend this vendor to anyone!!!!

Melissa McClain Photography is awesome! They're a husband/wife team and you can tell they truly love what they're doing. They are so fun to be around and truly are great people! They are the best photographers I have ever dealt with. Not to mention that they don't talk all business with you, they get to know you better to be able to understand what you like. Their prices are great, you really can't find prices like these anywhere else and they have a variety of packages you can choose from. Melissa McClain Photography captured our wedding day and all the beautiful details. They were friendly and easy to work with! What a great pair! Melissa and Jake were very helpful the day of the wedding...not only with photographs, but with answering questions that the mother of the bride or the bride had.

We love the pictures that were taken from the families to all the cool casual shots. Some of the pictures that were taken were some that we never expected or would have thought of.

I definitely will refer them....and I would use them again!!!! Great Job!!!
