Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business?
Commercial Studio based in Huntington Beach. Serving happy couples in LA, Orange County and San Diego county.

What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
We offer a range of packages. "Just Capture It" provides unedited footage while we also offer fully edited DVD's. All our packages included 2 camera coverage of the ceremony.

Describe any special editing services you offer:
We like to make each video unique and style the videos to match the event. Working with your music selection we craft a video that tells your story. Some of our more popular videos are "Doc Style", "Old School 8 mm film look", or "Music Video". Again it comes down to the couples taste and preferences.

Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Yes, we shoot with broadcast professional equipment. We have lights to handle dimly-lit events. We also have our own audio feed so best capture your vows, toasts and well wishes.

How many videographers do you work with?
All packages have a minimum of 2 shooters. The person who books your event and attends your rehearsal is the lead shooter on your day. This way no details get lost and you do not have to deal with any middle men. We want you to be stress free when it comes to your video.

Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
Yes and we prefer it! As part of all our packages we do a pre site visit and attend the wedding rehearsal to see the format and details of the ceremony along with meeting the key people involved in the couples day.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. Base on the package selected by our couple we have a set amount of time we are to be shooting at the wedding event.

Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We only do one wedding per weekend. This ensures the best quality for the couple. Our team is fresh and energized for the day. Plus gear is checked and in working order. We would not want to jeopardize an event because of an equipment issue or theft. Therefore we only shoot one wedding per weekend.

Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
Yes. We have back up shooters and equipment should we become ill or unavailable for you wedding day.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
2 Cameras (Sony), Lighting, 2 tripods, Audio gear, reflector, camera stock, selection of lenses, clean kit, 8 camera batteries.

Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes. We understand the importance of the event and come prepared to handle an equipment failure situation. We also do a gear check prior to every event to handle any issues prior to the wedding day.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No official breaks we look for a break in the action.

Do you charge overtime?
Yes, our base package is for 8 hours. We notify the couple at the end of the 8th hour and let them decided if they wish us to continue shooting. We do not pressure the couple. Rate is $175/hour with a minimum of 1 hour.

Do you give access to your raw footage?
Yes, couple can have all their raw footage transfered to DVD. The cost is $35/tape.

Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for promotions, contents, etc.?

Couple choose their music, edit style and effects.

How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
Our video agreement states 6 weeks however we know how excited our couples are to see and share their video with family. We strive to have it complete in 2 weeks.

Additional Questions and Answers

Tips and Advice
 1. Time and location limitations?
Look for a flexible package, one that doesn't charge per location.

2. How many cameras during the ceremony?
2 cameras during ceremony provides the best coverage of bridal party and family while being respectful of officiant rules and guests.

3. Pre visit locations or attend rehearsal?
Your videographer should do a pre-visit to location and attend your rehearsal to best plan your video. This way they
can see lighting and audio challenges ahead of the special day and plan for them.  They can also meet the key people involved in your special day along with the format and details of your ceremony.

4. How do they work with photographers?
You will achieve the best video and photos if your vendors work well together.

5. Professional equipment?
Ceremony or parts of reception may take place in low light. Professional broadcast equipment is needed to handle these situations.
Also inquired about how they will handle the audio.  A closed audio feed wired up on your groom will provide the best audio of your vows.
A handle mic at the reception will best capture your toasts and well wishes.
