About
Established in 2006, we are a brewpub and bistro located in downtown Hastings, Michigan.   We have a lovely victorian themed ballroom located on the 3rd floor of our 150 year old building, with a great view of our city.   We cater our own food, and all of our offerings are made fresh and from scratch by our talented culinary staff, plus we offer handcrafted ales made right here.  You may choose from many catering packages, or we will customize a menu for your event.  Offsite catering is also available.  Our prices are very competitive - give us a call!  We would love to host your event!

Beautifully renovated in a Victorian theme in rich shades of deep red, gold, and brown, our 3rd floor ballroom is both graceful and elegant. Tall, arched windows afford a view of downtown Hastings, and the floral print carpeting is complemented by wide baseboards. Lovely arched columns run the length of the room. A full bar is available to service your event. This floor has no outdoor access.

Because of our flexibility and willingness to customize, our schedule of rates and fees is predicated upon factors pertaining to your particular event.

We are proud to offer an extensive menu,  with nearly all items made from scratch using the freshest ingredients of the highest quality.   It is our belief that this commitment to excellence is what sets us apart from many other venues.  It is our goal to make your event anxiety free and memorable, and we will meet your needs with care and excellence.  You may choose from one of our many buffet packages, or let us customize your menu to reflect your personal style and taste.

Tips and Advice
Though we have very competitive pricing, no venue can take a loss for your special day.  Set a realistic budget for your reception.   Do not make the common mistake of thinking you will be able to have an upscale reception for 100 people (or more) for a few hundred dollars.  There are many base costs involved that must be covered; those will be passed on to you in one form or another, so be sure to ask what is included in your quote.  Are there extra charges for linens, table service (plates, silverware, etc), extra waitstaff, bartenders, cleaning, or setup/teardown?  These are legitimate charges in most cases; nevertheless, they can quickly add up if you are not clearly informed.
