About
Cinematic Wedding Day Films in stunning high-definition and vintage Super 8mm film!

Tampa Wonderworks is a husband and wife team located in Oldsmar, FL. We believe that in order to capture the passion of your special day, it is important to build a relationship with each bride and groom. We take the time to meet with you and learn about your relationship, your personalities, what exactly you are looking for in your film – so that your film represents you as a couple. We don’t follow a template. Each Wedding Day Film is specialized for each bride and groom, and that is why these relationships are essential. By the time your special day arrives, you will be assured that we will fully invest the respect, passion and detail that your love story merits.

Our philosophy is to inject as much passion as we share together into our craft so that each film and every edit we work on - is as special as the time you have invested into your relationship and your wedding planning.

We are truly honored to be a small part of the beginning of your lives together.

We look forward to meeting you!

When do you arrive on the wedding day?
We believe the bridal preparation shots are vital for telling your story. We will arrive two hours prior to the beginning of your ceremony to capture these creative and fun shots while allowing us enough time to set up and capture your ceremony location shots as well.

How long will my completed video be?
The length of the completed video is based on the package selected and can vary for each client.  General running time is 90 – 120 minutes for “Cinematic Edits” and 30 – 45 minutes for the “Short Form” edits.

How long does it take to get my finished video?
Everything starts the day of your wedding, with the shooting, but that is just the beginning. Most of the work is done after the magical day has concluded. Stylizing your film, editing, adding or selecting the music, personalizing your DVD menus and case, can be equally as exciting for us as the shooting, but often exceeds 60 hours. You will receive your film 8 – 12 weeks after your event.

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, we are fully insured.

How do I reserve you for my wedding and when is my payment due?
We require a deposit of 20% to reserve your wedding day. The balance is due on or before your event.

What is Cinematic Style?
The term is defined as making a movie or film and usually borrows heavily from techniques used in major motion picture movies.  Cinematic styles aim to increase the emotional impact using dramatic music and the use of effects such as slow motion, coloring, and multiple camera angles.  It is usually presented with a particular “wow factor” that may not be present in a mere “documentary” of the event.

What is Short Form Editing?
A video of the day that has been edited to fit within a time frame of 30-45 minutes in length.  A good short form video will leverage elements of the cinematic style.  Short form videos are optimal because they complement the cinematic form and provide the bride & groom with a final product that is artistic, intimate, and elegant, while remaining a pleasure to watch anytime with friends, family, or just with each other.

Will you travel outside the Tampa Bay area?
Yes, we love to shoot in new and unique palces. Call to discuss availablity and travel costs.

Will you direct us on our wedding day?
We wish to remain as unobtrusive and discrete as possible so you hardly know we are there while we capture every detail. We are your storytellers documenting your day as it happens. There are moments when staging a shot would be ideal, for more of emotional impact, these which we can discuss.

What is a Glidecam?
A camera stabilizer that gives the illusion that the camera is floating through the air. The Glidecam is often used in Hollywood movie productions.
