Questions Often Asked
Q: Why Don’t you offer packages like most?
A: Quite simple, I don’t believe in pigeon holing my clients. I believe that we’re in this to build a bond / friendship of sorts. I mean after all, if I am lucky enough to be invited into your day as such an integral piece, hopefully we can deal with each other, right? ;o) Really, what I’m saying is that I believe that working with my couples around their dreams, budgets and needs are the most important thing. Not pushing them into a “package” that is above their budget and having them take more than they want just because of a simple desire, and not having couples pass on what their needs are because package “A” fits their budget closer. Losing out on something they may have really wanted. Can we be a perfect fit every time, nope, but we can try our best.
Q: How many images will I receive?
A: All of them! Okay, maybe not all of them, that would be completely over whelming. On average, each wedding day brings about 300-600 images that are fully edited and ready for the world to admire! I don’t believe that giving you all your images on a disc and saying “okay” now pick out your 50 favorites and I’ll do a couple touch ups, is the way. Again, once it leaves my hands it’s ready for the world! Not to mention that I don’t believe in charging you for your images after the day. Meaning you WILL get a disc with all of your wedding day images on it in full resolution for future printing needs.
Q: Do you have assistants / second shooters?
A: Yes, I do. However I find that 85% of the time, they are un-needed. If it’s something that you feel is super important and works for your budget, we can surely rock it out!
Q: How long till we see our images?
A: On average it’s 2-4 weeks. There is always the chance of unforeseen circumstances ie: a meteor hitting my studio, falling off the edge of the earth, my head being trapped in a alligators mouth, but none of those are things I see happening in the near future so you should be safe.
Q: What’s is included in most of what you offer?
A: Generally, I start every option off with a few key ingredients. First and foremost - Myself as lead photographer, next would be all the images online for proofing sharing and ordering, A DVD slide show of the days images set to music, A Disc with all images in full resolution with printing rights, Engagement Shoot at Studio & Surrounding area with further travel an option to be discussed, a set amount of studio print credit.
Q: Why don’t you talk about set time lines in your options that you worked up for us?
A: Simple, much like I don’t believe in set packages, charging you for your wedding day images on a disc and more, I also don’t believe that 4 hours, 6 hours or 8 hours matters much. For two reasons, either way I can only shoot one wedding in that day. And more importantly, if your day goes on for 8 hours, can we really tell the story in 5??? Ridiculous and I’ll have none of it. Let’s just let the magic happen. (of course if your reception goes till 2AM I may not make it to the end…)
