About
My name is Susan Marcus.  As a former middle school librarian and director of a children’s camp, I have spent my career helping people to achieve their dreams. Now, as a justice of the peace, I hope that you’ll consider letting me preside over the most important ceremony of your lives.

I promise to create, in partnership with you, a wedding or renewal ceremony that is unique and what you’ve always wished for.

I’ll provide you with several options for each part of the ceremony and work with you as you choose from them, build on them, or ask for more choices. You will determine what the tone of your ceremony will be, how spiritual or reflective of your religion(s) you would like it, and whether and how you might involve family and friends. If you’re able, I encourage you to meet with me at my home at any time before your wedding day.

I’ve officiated on beaches, at the top of a lighthouse, in my own home, and in restaurants, hotels and country clubs and helped each couple plan a ceremony that was perfect for them. A copy of the ceremony is mailed to each couple as a keepsake.
