What music genres are in your collection?

Do you have liability insurance?

Describe your DJ style:

Always professional, never cheesy. Everything we do is customized to our clients exact wishes. In addition, we program music so that songs transition seamlessly while building energy on the dancefloor.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?

We are able to fulfill almost any request without assistance from our clients. In the rare event that we are not able to track down a specific song, we let our clients know well in advance of their wedding so that alternate arrangements can be made.

How many other DJs do you work with?

We do not sub-contract work to anyone. B-Sharp Entertainment is owned by DJ Brendan Lafferty; he performs at all B-Sharp events.

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?

Absolutely! We encourage this, because we want to get to know our clients just as much as they'd like to get to know us.

Can the client submit a do-not-play list?

Of course! Just as it's important that we know what songs you love, it's also important that we find out which ones you'd prefer not to hear.

Do you bring your own equipment?

Yes we do. Our equipment is clean, neat and the best available. We use Bose sound systems and have backup gear ready at all times.

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

Basic dance floor lighting is provided upon request. We also offer LED uplighting, monogram projection, enhanced dancefloor lighting, and live musicians for ceremonies or cocktail hour.

Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?

Never. In fact, it's rare that we even mention our company name during the events that we perform at. The reason is simple: We're at your event to entertain, not advertise.

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

This has never happened. As professionals, we believe that the show must go on no matter what the circumstances. However, should an unexpected need arise, we would assist you with locating alternate entertainment. We network with a number of local, professional DJs.

Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?

No. We entertain at just one event per day. This allows us to focus our attention exclusively on your celebration.

What is the required deposit to secure your services?

We require a 30% initial payment to reserve our services.
