Best wedding DJ imaginable!

From the moment we met Brendan, we felt like our wedding music was in good hands. From the live piano at the ceremony, to the lighting, to the thoughtful set-up, not a single detail was overlooked. Brendan makes the planning process easy by offering lots of great advice while also being open to new ideas. He coordinates with couples through an app where you can request songs for specific sections of the day. Brendan’s professionalism is not to be understated. He played the role of emcee wonderfully, knowing exactly when to take a back seat and when to command attention. He handled a lot of technical requests with ease. Most importantly, he had everyone – both young and old – up on their feet the entire night. We also took advantage of his photo booth, which was such a hit and a great value! We had looked into doing it ourselves, but having the extra attendant, the printed copies, and the texting option was a game changer. We’d recommend his services to anyone looking to add a rock star vendor to their roster!

Live piano & awesome DJ skills!

Brendan is AMAZING! He played live piano (Taylor Swift songs!) for our ceremony which was incredible, and then he worked with about 20 songs that we provided to figure out our vibe and keep the party going four hours! I’m really shy and I’m not usually a dancer, but I was on the dance floor all night. It’s been a week since our wedding and my husband and I can’t stop talking about how great Brendan was. We also had a ton of compliments from our friends! If you’re looking for a DJ who can wow with piano skills and read a crowd to get everyone dancing, book Brendan!

Awesome DJ!

Brendan was incredible to work with from wedding planning to wedding day! He was always there to answer all my questions and let me have the full ability to curate all the music just the way I wanted with adding his own flair and suggestions. The planning app that we collectively used was so helpful to convey information to him. From adding songs to specific moments in the day to ensuring he knew all of the reminders to give to the guests. He is so professional, friendly, organized, and helpful! I highly suggest hiring him for all of your DJ needs!!!

Best DJ to work with!!

B-Sharp Entertainment was absolutely amazing!! Brendan was very helpful with every step of our music planning. He was easily accessable anytime my Husband and I had questions or wanted to add anything for our reception entertainment, and this was very important to us to be able to reach him and discuss details anytime. Brendan makes it very easy to select the perfect music and has an organized method to know what type of music to add to each portion of the night. Picking our music was really fun to do, thanks to the planning method Brendan uses. We felt very confident and very in control of our planning choices. All of our questions were answered along the way, and he kept in touch, including consultation meeting, and design layout choices for our photo booth. Brendan was very helpful during our reception as well by checking in with us to see where we were at with each step of the night, and any changes we needed to make, he made everything flow nicely, and read the room extremely well. We would highly recommend B-Sharp Entertainment for any Wedding or event, he was an all around great and professional DJ to work with, he really listened to our needs and our night was absolutely perfect with many thanks to him!

Fantastic!!!

Brendan was amazing in so many ways. First, he was incredibly accessible, friendly, and helpful throughout the planning process. He has excellent communication and works with you to create your vision.. On wedding day, he created a fantastic atmosphere. Brendan kept the dance floor rocking all night, finding the right moments to throw in a slow dance before getting the dance floor going again. We cannot recommend him enough! Fun and perfect!

Brendan was absolutely amazing to work with. He was extremely professional, upbeat, and talented. Brendan was instrumental in making our wedding day perfect. It was a long time coming, but so worth the wait!

Brendan is awesome! He was so patient and supportive when we had to cancel and reschedule our date twice. He really listens to what you want and helped us pick out songs when we were undecided! His photo booth was the biggest hit and I loved the scrapbook like album that came with it. It is so much better than a guest book!

Brendan was incredible from start to finish. He was super quick to respond and very communicative throughout the entire planning process. We had a few meetings with him leading up to the wedding to discuss exactly what we wanted-- which was a PARTY! He did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed the entire night and he did an amazing job of keeping the energy high, pumping up the crowd and reading the room. He also did an amazing job playing live piano for our ceremony and cocktail hour which added a really nice live music aspect to our day! Overall 10 out of 10!!

Brendan was absolutely amazing! Very organized, he kept all of our guest engaged, especially during special moments… like cutting the wedding cake. He gave my wife and I plenty of options to customize our wedding by letting us add must play songs, do not play songs, genre exclusives/non exclusive, and he can even play your favorite tunes on piano! To me… It’s those little extra things that can make your night that much more special. He’s a gentleman and was able to accommodate anything and everything we wanted. He can even give you suggestions if you’re unsure on how a part of your special evening may go. 10/10 would use him again in a heart beat!

Exceptional Experience

My husband and I can’t say enough about Brendan from B-Sharp Entertainment. Even from the early stages of our wedding planning process, Brendan took the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals. His professionalism was unmatched. He was very responsive throughout the entire process, even when our wedding was over a year away. Brendan’s contracts were extremely well organized and straight forward.

In terms of his delivery as a DJ, we could not have asked for more. Brendan was able to coordinate a pianist and violinist for our ceremony and cocktail party. Both musicians were fantastic, and they were able to play a wide variety of songs ranging from country and oldies to even pop and rap. Brendan kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Our guests are still talking about it!

High fun/low stress DJ+musician :)

Next to food, music was the most important component of our wedding, and Brendan did not disappoint. He was always available to talk, answered questions fully and efficiently, embraced little touches, and expertly helped pull off all of the “vibes” we wanted for our wedding.

Right from the beginning, he gave us a specific planning app that not only allowed us to casually input music choices, but it helped in the actual planning process as well—special dances, speeches, etc. We had very little stress planning this important part of the wedding because we felt really supported in both big and small ways—I don’t think we bugged him too much, but just the safety net of knowing we could really helped!

He was especially knowledgeable when it came to our venue—the Providence Public Library—since we had multiple spaces with different requirements: ceremony, a separate room for dinner and speeches, and a sunken courtyard for the cocktail hour and dancing.

Plus, our venue had a baby grand piano on site, and Brendan can play *anything* you ask him to!

From the moment our guests walked in to the epic final song, Brendan helped keep the good vibes going, and I could trust him to make our vision complete. Highly recommend :)

Had all our guests on the dance floor all night

Brendan was incredible to work with. He came recommended through our vendor and we knew instantly from our first phone call with him that we wanted to book with him. He didn't come across gimmicky, he listened so well to our vision, and followed through. We trusted we could come to him for his suggestions and he really just made our wedding run smooth. We got lots of comments from guests on how much they loved the music, and that he did a great job MC-ing, going beyond just saying our names for the bridal party entrance and truly announcing us. We actually had a hard time getting people to leave at the end because they had so much fun. Thanks Brendan!

The best DJ available, hands down.

Brendan is the best DJ on the market hands down. If you’re doing your due diligence to get the a feel for picking the right DJ, stop here, you found him.

He truly does everything in his power to make your wedding incredible. Believe me when I say we put him to the test too. Here’s a few examples. He was able handle our outdoor ceremony (multiple guest speakers) no problem. Not only is he a great DJ but he’s a DUAL THREAT incredibly talented pianist and played live piano during or cocktail hour after the ceremony. Then we challenged him again by hosting our first dance and toasts outdoors as well and he was able to accommodate our unique requests without a hitch. He was the perfect ring master to guide our guests from event to event, a challenge in and of itself when it comes to getting people where you need them. He provided the perfect vibe to accent the venue with his up-lighting that we added on. Lastly for the reception, Brendan was able to keep the perfect mix of tracks to have all ages on the dance floor all night long which was what we cared about most with our DJ.

He is available 24/7 for questions and concerns and was very honest and helpful in our planning. His app is fool proof and will help you organize your entire day, let alone the music. Truly an invaluable asset, we are so so happy we hired him and you will be too.

Exceeded Expectations!

We love Brendan! Brendan was so fun and easy to work with leading up to the wedding. He helped us with editing our songs for our first dances and identifying "must play" songs for the dance floor. He was patient and helpful, fielding our many questions and requests. The day of the wedding, he ensured that everything went so smoothly. He provided music for the ceremony, which was timed perfectly. He played piano during the cocktail hour, which was beautiful. He helped coordinate the speeches and made sure that we stuck to our timeline. Without my knowledge prior to the wedding, he worked directly with my sister (maid of honor) as she had prepared a surprise slideshow for her speech, which was so touching. And the dance floor was SO FUN! Our friends and family are still talking about it. Brendan is talented, professional, and an absolute pleasure to be around, and we cannot recommend him highly enough!

Brendan is a consummate professional and he was a true pleasure to work with at every turn. Brendan is the best!!

Brendan is truly the best!!! He is so patient, organized, talented, and so easy going!! We booked Brendan during the pandemic and had our initial meeting with him via the phone. He was clear and concise with all his answers, even informing us that he could play the piano for our ceremony and cocktail hour which was a big surprise to us! There were no hidden fees at all and for him to play the piano was no extra cost! He then was incredibly patient with us, meeting with us twice as our wedding approached and made sure we had everything we needed, including learning a few new songs on the piano we wanted for our ceremony! The day of our wedding, Brendan was phenomenal! His set up is so classy and fit our venue nicely. His piano skills are perfect and we had people complementing the music he played on the piano for the ceremony and cocktail hour, saying it was a really classy touch! Our guests aren't huge dancers, but there were always people on the dance floor and the array of music was perfect!! Everyone said they had so much fun and it couldn't have been done without Brendan! We are so thankful we hired him for our wedding!

Great DJ for our wedding!

We are so glad we hired Brendan of B-Sharp Entertainment for our wedding. While in the planning stages, he was friendly, helpful, and thorough. He was also flexible when we had to reschedule due to Covid. He listened to all our requests (including tracking down some Persian songs my family had requested) and picked great songs to fill out the rest of the playlist, and our guests were very happy. He was also a great emcee for the evening with his welcoming and energetic presence while also knowing when to be restrained so as not to take over the party. Great DJ, hottest dance floor

If you chose Brendan to be your DJ, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Back in 2018, my husband and I booked our 2020 wedding with him. Due to the restrictions of that year, we had to move the date. Brendan was super flexible and helped us feel at ease that everything would be great for the new date!

Here comes 2021 - we had our final meeting. Brendan has this awesome app to use when picking music, which was super helpful. He mentioned to us that we didn’t have any music for the reception picked out and we let Brendan know we were leaving it up to him to keep the dance floor hot - HE DID JUST THAT! The dance floor was bumping ALL NIGHT LONG and our family/friends all mentioned to us how GREAT of a job he did.

Any future events, we will definitely be booking or recommending Brendan. His options of photobooths are incredible! We went with a backdrop booth that allowed you to do so much and the photos/videos were great - plus, we got a fun photo book for our guests to sign.

Overall, I couldn’t have been any happier with the wedding music/photobooth choices. From the ceremony to the last song, Brendan knew exactly what he was doing and I’m so glad we were able to have him as our DJ! 100% recommended, hands down!!!

Amazing DJ!!

We are so happy we booked B-Sharp Entertainment for our 10/10/21 wedding! Brendan is very personable and such a great DJ. He not only was our DJ, but he MCed the whole night, provided beautiful uplighting that everyone couldn't stop talking about, and set up a photo montage that guests could send pics to all night during the wedding! The best part about his service is the app he uses to track all ypur special songs and music requests throughout the whole night- it even creates a timeline of the songs from the ceremony through reception. We hired Brendan and B-Sharp Entertainment to DJ our November 2019 wedding and could not be happier with our decision! Brendan is the absolute best in the business. He is experienced, and always so pleasant and professional. He is very easy to talk to, fun, and did just an AMAZING job with our entire wedding. We are SO happy that we chose Brendan for our wedding day. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. Brendan did an amazing job providing DJ and lighting for our wedding! Being an out of town bride, I can say he was very easy to work with and made planning a breeze. He listened to our ideas on the kinds of music we wanted, and did a great job of adding songs that fit our vision. He provided us with honest suggestions and opinions which I really appreciated. His knowledge of the venue (which was very windy) was much appreciated, and guests had no trouble hearing during the ceremony despite the gusts. Best Decision Ever

Brendan made our wedding unforgettable at Newport Beach House on 8/23/19. From the moment we first talked to Brendan on the phone we knew that he was exactly who we were looking for to fill the dance floor the entire night, and he did exactly that!!!! We hired him three weeks before due to the initial person we hired canceled. Brendan rearranged his schedule to accommodate us and could not be more thankful. It was a blessing in disguise because the stressful situation of scrambling to find one available, into one of the best decisions of our wedding. Brendan was so organized and made communication so easy leading up to the wedding. We went over details and songs and knew we were in good hands. Brendan was the best at keeping the night moving with announcements and intros and set up the sound for the cocktail hour and ceremony as well. He was so nice and literally made our night SO MUCH FUN. weeks later, and we are still getting comments from our guest at how incredible our DJ was and what an amazing time it was. There was a perfect balance of new songs as well as oldies that everyone knew the words to. It was an unforgettable night for all!!! I can’t recommend enough.

Kept us all dancing!

Selecting Brendan for our wedding DJ was an easy choice. His easy-going, down to earth, professional and funny personality won us over after our first phone call with him, and we booked him right away! I loved that he could cover our needs for music and also play the piano. And he is SUCH a talented piano player! He also knew our venue, The Glen Manor, through and through so we knew we were in good hands. His piano playing at cocktail hour was perfect, and he kept us all dancing through the reception. So many of our guests said that the music and DJ were awesome. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

The best dj ever!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Brendan is to work with. From the time I called him to set up an initial meeting, to our wedding day he was fabulous. He took the time to go through our whole wedding day with us and helped us organize our music. As our actual ceremony took place in the venue, he was responsible for our ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception and did an amazing job!! B-Sharp Entertainment Flawless Wedding Day Entertainment

Working with Brendan and B-Sharp Entertainment was absolutely great! We were referred to Brendan by a family friend, and couldn’t be happier after booking him for our wedding. With so many DJ options out there, and with it playing such an important role at any wedding it can be difficult to make sure you are booking the best music option. We definitely stressed about this during the planning process, and interviewed about 5 different entertainment options. Then came our call with Brendan and within the first 5 minutes of the phone call we wanted to book him. Professional, well spoken, experienced, accommodating, organized, timely everything we were looking for. The pricing and packages were also very straightforward, so you knew exactly what you were getting. His online tool made song requests super easy to make/change, and even had top song charts to help with selection. Whenever we had a question, we could always expect a timely fast response from him. We met him at his office in North Attleboro when our wedding was close, and he was incredibly organized, detail oriented, and accommodating of how we wanted our day to go. You can tell he has been doing this a long time successfully (has a ton of awards all over his office which was great to see), and his experience/knowledge helped us so much throughout the planning process. On the actual wedding day, he absolutely knocked everything out of the park. He set up all speakers/microphones at our ceremony. He also plays piano and we hired him to play the grand piano at our venue for the cocktail hour (very nice added touch!). For introductions I forgot to tell him one of my grandmothers had broken her hip and was unable to make it. He double checked everything and fixed it even when I forgot to tell him (was super happy about that)! The timeline flowed perfectly and his presence on the mic was great. The initial dances/speeches/cake cutting went flawlessly. He then kept the dance floor rocking for 3-3.5 hours with our wedding ending at midnight. I want to stress that he did an amazing job keeping the dance floor going for that long as that’s probably what most people are looking for. I gave him a few requests, but other than that I would recommend just letting him do his thing(was remarkable at feeling out the crowd). I would give him 10 stars if the ratings allowed it!

Perfect Wedding Experience with B-Sharp Entertainment

Brendan and B-Sharp Entertainment did a fantastic job at my wedding last weekend. Brendan made the whole process so easy by giving my husband and I access to a website where we could add/remove songs to play (and not play!) along with dedications we wanted for friends and family. We met a few weeks before the wedding to go over details including the pronunciation of people's names, and the sequence of events for the ceremony and wedding. Brendan is so experienced at this, he helped us make decisions on items we would have otherwise been totally unprepared for. He also gave us advice on things that typically work the best, such as the sequencing for the first dance and toasts, etc. B-Sharp also provided a photo booth with an attendant (who was also fantastic), a book for people to put copies of photos strips and write messages, and a USB of all the digital photos. It was a huge hit; people had so much fun. Brendan was also great with last minute changes. We changed our "entrance to the reception" song about 1 hour before the ceremony and he didn't miss a beat; literally and figuratively. He was also extremely kind and accommodating to play a video of my Grandfather giving a toast. He is too ill to travel from Canada so Brendan played the video on his iPad with the microphone help up to it. This was not a part of the original plan and I asked Brendan if he could help about 2 days before the wedding. Once again, he had no problem making this very special moment happen for us. There is an added bonus in that Brendan has done many weddings at the venue we used (Independence Harbor) so was able to handle all logistics pertaining to coordinating with them. We couldn't be happier with Brendan and his assistant and B-Sharp entertainment and highly recommend them. On a side note, Brendan has a great sense of humor and played along with all our non-traditional music requests and the fake last name we used for the projected monogram as a joke :P

Great Job Brendan at B-Sharp Entertainment!

Brendan Lafferty at B-Sharp Entertainment was great to work with from beginning to end. I am the mother of the bride, whose wedding was in May, 2019. This was the first wedding I had planned so people like Brendan are absolutely essential. Every question from important to obvious was answered courteously and professionally. Brendan conveniently offers a space on his website where couples can create their playlist. He met with us 2 weeks prior to the wedding and we spoke about how the night would progress and exactly what to expect. He played piano during the cocktail hour and it was amazing and classy. He was a great "host" on the dance floor - his introductions of bridal party and parents/grandparents were spot on. Even though a playlist was provided, Brendan took the time to organize this list into such a manner that the right songs were always playing at the right time. What really impressed me? At the end of the night, after his contracted time was up and he had stopped the music, he, without being asked, went back to the piano and played until the crowd had dispersed. This is an individual who has gone above and beyond for his client and we could not be more grateful to have had him as such a huge part of this special day. Thank you Brendan!

Amazing DJ

This is an amazing DJ who will keep you dancing all night long. He is very easy to work with and works closely with you throughout the whole planning process. I used him for my ceremony and my reception and I couldn't be happier. My wedding wouldn't have been the same without B-Sharp Entertainment!

Entertainer who can do it all!

From the moment we started talking with Brendan, we knew we that he would be a perfect fit for our wedding. We were looking for someone who would be able to play live piano for our ceremony and cocktail hour in addition to djing for our reception. Brendan delivered on both! He is an incredible pianist who played piano for us in the chapel as well as our cocktail hour. When it was time to switch over to our reception, he did so seamlessly. All of our guests were dancing the whole night! He created a playlist of songs that matched our personalities. This was due to all of the planning that he did prior to our wedding. Brendan worked with us both through email and phone conference calls to get a feel for our musical tastes and the atmosphere we wanted for the reception. When we weren't in touch, my husband and I were using his online playlist to select songs that we wanted and equally as important- did not want to be played. He helped us to navigate planning the reception and figuring out all the small details that can easily be overlooked.
We are so thankful to have found Brendan and would encourage anyone to seek his services out. He really gives you the best of both worlds!

Brendan was fantastic! He was super easy to work with prior to the wedding day - the online questionnaire made it easy to indicate what we were looking for and request songs, and we touched based a few weeks prior to talk through the timeline and song choices. I really appreciated that he gave us a few options for the hora, to make sure that we liked the version that he used. Brendan also set up the mikes for the ceremony and played piano during our cocktail hour at no additional cost. I heard from many guests how much they liked the DJ - the dance floor was full all night!

Brendan of B-Sharp Entertainment was truly incredible! From our initial discussions, we were taken by how professional and easy to work with Brendan was. When we met in person closer to the wedding, panicking trying to fit all of the pieces together, Brendan reassured us and offered us the most generous timeline for finalizing our music choices. He is extremely detail oriented and we knew we were in great hands going into our big day. The ceremony and cocktail hour music was perfect. When it came time for the reception, he edited all of our important songs to the perfect length, nailed our wedding party intros, and absolutely rocked our intro! He kept up the mood of the party through the whole night, sprinkling all of our chosen songs in with other dance hits. He kept it fun for everybody, appealing to both the younger and older crowds, and everyone had a blast on the floor! I would recommend B-Sharp for weddings and other events 10 times out of 10.

Brendan was an amazing DJ to work with. He took my love of random genres of music and brought my vision to life. He was there when I wanted ceremony music before I arrived, during the quick change to my rain alternative site, and kept people on the dance floor all night. He was present during the reception and really a genuinely great guy. He also helped with the photo booth design-he matched the border of the photos to my wedding invitations! They were beautiful. Brenden made our wedding night truly amazing! He entertained our guest and played excellent music for all ages! He had everyone dancing all night long! Since the very beginning Brenden was very accommodating and attentive. He made sure he included every detail we requested for our wedding day. Brendan was awesome and the dance floor was packed all night long! He was recommended to us by our venue, Glen Manor House. We reached out to him and was quickly able to set up an in-person meeting. Because we live out-of-state, Brendan was super accommodating and agreed to meet us at 5pm on a Friday after we finished meeting with caterers. His flexibility, professionalism, friendliness, and extensive knowledge of music was really impressive and sealed the deal for us. Plus the fact he could play piano for our ceremony and cocktail hour was a huge bonus. It was really easy to communicate with Brendan while we were planning; he made sure to cover all the details with us in the month before the wedding. On our wedding day, I distinctly remember walking down the aisle to Brendan's beautiful rendition of La Vie En Rose on the piano and also enjoying his performance during our cocktail hour. During the reception, he kept the party going as DJ and emcee, and everyone danced until the very last song. We received so many compliments from our guests on Brendan's talented piano-playing and DJ-ing. Thanks Brendan for your amazing work!

Brendan was excellent -- we'd highly recommend him! Before the big day, he really took the time to find out what we were looking for and made the whole planning process very easy. And he was incredibly responsive to our emails and calls. At the wedding itself, he handled the music and sound for our ceremony, played the piano during the cocktail hour, and MC'd and DJ'd the reception. Everything was superb. Exceptional! My husband and I cannot say enough about Brendan, he took the time to get to know us and make our wedding music tailored to our exact style. I danced in my seat throughout dinner and spent as much time on the dance floor as I possibly could! He kept our dance floor packed all night and many had tired feet at the end of the night. The photo booth was the cherry on top of the whole package the photos we have are priceless and will keep us laughing for years to come!

When we first started looking for DJs we were not sure where to start or how to go about choosing between the different vendors. We turned to our photographer, who we have known for 30 years, and they recommend Brendan and B-Sharp Entertainment. It was the best recommendation we received. Brendan was phenomenal, truly cannot say enough. We met with him prior to the wedding to go over our requests. We wanted reggae for cocktail hour, Sinatra for dinner, and then let him run with everything else. All we asked was to keep it fun and he nailed it. We saw people dancing that we didn’t know danced. We are in our “young” 30s and had guests of all different ages. Brendan kept the dance floor packed the entire night…people are still telling us how much fun they had. Our biggest concern was the music and Brendan exceeded our expectations. Again, we cannot say enough about him. If you are looking for a DJ, we would strongly recommend Brendan and B-Sharp Entertainment. Not only is he an unbelievable DJ, he was also very easy to work with.

Great service. Our venue - Glen Manor - has recommended Brandon, and we are so glad we went with him. He is a true professional and created a really fun atmosphere.

He doesn't only provide music, he also provided the Photo Booth and lighting. (Bundling everything ended up saving me at least 2k). The Photo Booth was great; he incorporated the design of our menus and program cards into the printout and provided a good selection of props. (It was a covered one; which I preferred, but still spacious enough for a big group).

The lighting was also great; I went with a more romantic candle light feel; he understood my vision and executed it perfectly.

The big plus (surprise) is that he plays the piano, and if your venue has a piano, he can provide lighter music during dinner to allow your guests to have a conversation. But once you are ready to party, he is ready to get the party started. I provided him with a few songs to illustrate our music style, and he was absolutely able to read my mind and provided such fun mix of music that kept people on the dance floor.

We are so thrilled that we chose Brendan and B-Sharp Entertainment for our 5/28/17 Camp Kiwanee wedding. From our first meeting with him he was professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He helped us throughout the planning process and coordinated with our other vendors to help create a flawless wedding day. He was so helpful when we were selecting our music and his online music tool really helped facilitate the whole process. He was very responsive anytime we had questions or changes to our ceremony or reception.
Most importantly he kept our dance floor packed the entire night with a variety of music genres. Everyone from our grandparents to our three year old cousins were out dancing the night away. Everyone kept commenting about how wonderful our music selection was and how there was never a moment when our dance floor was empty. We highly recommend Brendan to anyone planning a wedding or other event.

I couldn't give a better review of Dj Brendan Lafferty. He is a true professional! You get that sense from him as soon as you do your consultation. Out of all of the vendors that we worked with he was the best. I even called him the day before our wedding in a bit of a panic in order to change our first dance and add some new hip hop songs and he had no problem incorporating that into our wedding. I would recommend him to anyone who asks and I'm not an easy person to work with....

Brendan made the process so unbelievably easy for us that I couldn't recommend him more highly. He set up an account for us on his website where we could browse his entire music library and choose which songs we wanted to have him play at our wedding, as well as all the music for intros, etc. Since we were able to do it over the course of months at our own pace, it really made the process much more enjoyable and not stressful at all. On our wedding day, we also had an issue I noticed with our guestbook that I was trying to fix when Brendan came over and told me he would take care of it and that I should go enjoy myself. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding (or anything else), look no further!

My husband and I could not have been happier with the service that we received with Brendan!!! People were still talking about our wedding months after the event and the one thing they kept mentioning was how great our DJ was! Brandon does such a great job at making sure every detail is set before your big day. He takes all of the stress off of your shoulders and really listens to your music requests. We absolutely loved the photo booth at our wedding, and Chris did an outstanding job of running it. Brendan designed a photo strip design for us which we loved! The photo booth was great and all of the props were really fun and different. Everyone in the pictures got a copy of the strip and then got to put one in a book and sign it for us to keep. They then sent us a usb of all of the photo booth pictures. I would HIGHLY recommend using them.

When we started our wedding planning, we both agreed that music and the entertainment was one of the biggest and most important decisions. We wanted our guests to have a mix of music that would be appropriate for all ages and that would keep the party going until the end. When we met with Brendan, it was instant that we figured out he would be the perfect DJ for the wedding. I still can't get over how cool and unique it is that he plays the piano and has this an option for you. Additionally, we were doing our ceremony onsite at the same venue as our reception and needed music. With him, no problem! We were able to provide him the songs we wanted for every moment and he made it all happen. He played piano during cocktail hour and when it came time for the reception to start, he absolutely amazing with the music choices, mixing in our requests and others that fit in perfectly. If you want to your guests to leave laughing and talking all about the dancing and the night, USE B-Sharp entertainment. He is flexible, responsive and absolutely awesome at what he does!!!!

During the wedding planning process you struggle with picking the right vendors for your wedding, I didn't have that with Brendan at B Sharp. I knew right away he was the right DJ for our wedding. Brendan is a professional, a great person, and truly loves what he does. He gave me advice about music choices and even regarding other aspects of the wedding I was stuck on. He let me send him numerous songs I wanted to hear at the wedding and I also trusted him to make the right choices for my crowd that kept the party going and really impressed everyone. My instincts and my feelings towards him were not wrong, because my wedding was amazing. At the end of the night when everyone says "Wow the dance floor was never empty" that when you know you made the right choice. Even when I was stressing, Brendan made me feel calm and knew the night was going to be everything I wanted. When my husband and I started talking about what we wanted for our wedding, we agreed that we wanted people to leave thinking that it was a great party, (and not just "pretty good for a wedding"). Thanks to Brendan and his insanely epic abilities as a DJ (but really, calling Brendan a DJ is like calling a fine wine moonshine -- he is SO much more), our guests left talking about the "amazing music" and the insane dance floor that resulted. And when I say the dance floor was insane -- HOW insane it got (in the best possible way) is impossible to describe. Everyone was dancing -- including the relatives I didn't expect to cut a rug. Don't be fooled by Brendan's soft spoken and mellow nature when you meet with him - when he kicks off the music, he turns into this amazing mix of fantastic DJ and understated hype man. I say understated because Brendan commands the attention of your guests to the dance floor and the revelry, but he does so WITHOUT detracting from the fact that this is your wedding. In other words, Brendan makes the party and dance aspect of your wedding the center of attention, rather than himself. I was so impressed with his professionalism and his seriously amazing musical prowess (he also plays a mean piano, and did so during our cocktail hour -- much to the amazement and wonder of my guests), and I have received countless texts and emails telling me how amazing the entertainment was. I am so, so thrilled with Brendan's amazing abilities, and I sort of wish I threw more parties that warranted his services. If you are going with a DJ, hire Brendan. Seriously. He's the absolute best, and made our wedding so incredibly memorable.

He was very thorough, personable, and great to work with, we felt completely at ease with him! Where can we begin on explaining just how amazing Brendan Lafferty owner of B-Sharp Entertainment truly is! Brendan made our wedding perfect. He was professional, talented, fun and easy to work with. He provided us a website to select songs for the cocktail hour, first dances and reception. The website was easy to navigate and helpful. If we had a question, he had the perfect answer. During our wedding he made everything go smooth and stress free! The dance floor was packed from the very beginning to the very end and that is exactly what we wanted! He also provided a photo booth which had the best props and accessories. He gave us a photo book with all the photo strips that guests took throughout the night. So fun with great memories! We received so many compliments on the music and photo booth. We got calls, texts and emails about how our wedding was the most fun from our family and friends. We contacted Brendan a couple weeks after the wedding asking for our playlist to keep for memories and he provided the list right away. We were referred to Brendan from B-Sharp through our photographer. We had previously met with several other DJs but couldn’t find the right fit. My husband and I live in Rhode Island so we were so happy that he suggested that for our first meeting we meet half way between our house and his office. When we met with him we felt comfortable, he took the time to get to know us and understand our vision for our wedding as well as telling us about him both personally and professionally.
In the months leading up to our wedding we used Brendan’s online tool to help us prepare. It was easy to use and we felt confident that we had made all the necessary selections and decisions.
We worked together at the final detailing appointment to create a reception timeline. I was so grateful to be able to leverage his knowledge and expertise. Knowing how the evening would flow helped to calm our nerves and enjoy our wedding day. He did a wonderful job as the ‘master of ceremonies’ taking the time to learn how to pronounce everyone’s name (a big deal in my Italian family) and making all of the announcements during the night.
During the cocktail hour Brendan played the piano. Having the piano gave the cocktail hour added elegance while still allowing our guests to mingle and carry conversation. After dinner he was able to keep all of our guests on the dance floor. His music selection was excellent and there was something for everyone aged age 17-67. He also was able to balance reading our guests as a whole with their individual song requests.
I cannot recommend Brendan enough; he was everything we ever could have asked for in a DJ. He was personable, professional and passionate. We received many compliments from our guests what fun that had at our wedding and my sister-in-law even booked him for her wedding next July!

Brendan was our DJ for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception a week ago in Rhode Island, and we do not have one bad thing to say about him! We had to communicate via email and phone because we don't live in RI, but Brendan made it easy, and he always got back to us immediately. We waited until the week of our wedding to send him our music selections, and he was extremely patient and understanding. He listened to our likes and dislikes, and stayed true to our play and do-not-play lists! He also managed to track down our two ceremony pieces in less than two days, and he even switched the order of the songs 30 minutes before I walked down the aisle (at my last-minute request, as I emailed him while I was getting ready!!!). My husband and I had the best day of our lives, and it wouldn't have happened without Brendan!

Brendan did such an amazing job for our wedding. My husband and I could not be happier with our experience. He was so easy to work with and always quickly responded to any questions. Brendan was the perfect DJ for our wedding! He was amazing to work with from start to finish; very professional, organized, and friendly. I do not even know where to begin when talking about how perfect Brendan was to work with before the wedding, during the wedding, and even after. Brendan went above and beyond expectations and if I could give him 10 stars I would. An example is we did a choreographed dance and when we sent him the music from our choreographer, he fixed the sound, fixed transitions, and created a final piece that my husband and I were so excited to surprise everyone with! He nailed it. His talent and skills on the piano during cocktail hour was exactly what we wanted. Brendan was so easy to work with and professional through and through. I wish I could relive that night and most of it was because of Brendan! B-Sharp had everyone on the dance floor all night!! Brendan is an amazing DJ!!!!! You could not find a better, more professional person in the industry. He did everything we asked and more! Brendan of B-Sharp Entertainment was great! Having him as our DJ was one of the best wedding decisions we made. He answered all of our questions prior to the wedding and was able to put me at ease about our uneven wedding party. I was a little worried about how it would look for introductions, but with Brendan's advice everything turned out great! He was also able to give us some recommendations for song selections. Just by sitting down with us for a few minutes it was as if he knew what songs would work perfect for us. We received so many compliments on the music, and our guests got a kick out of our song selection for when we walked down the aisle after the ceremony (the song was Brendan's idea!). My husband and I were just married on Sunday and we used B-Sharp Entertainment for our DJ services as well as rented a Photobooth. We could not be more pleased with the services we received from Brendan. He made planning the entertainment for our wedding easy and fun. He was incredibly professional and the quality of his service is phenomenal. Our guests kept commenting on the wonderful selection of music and Brendan had everyone up and dancing almost the entire night. The photobooth was a great addition to our wedding and our guests LOVED it! There was a line out the door the entire night and Chris (who worked the booth) never stopped assisting our guests. We immediately received our USB in the mail with all of the photobooth pictures as well as a great keepsake photo album. I strongly recommend using B-Sharp entertainment!!

Highly recommended!! Brendan did a fantastic job at our wedding!! It was 3 weeks ago and our guests are still raving about him. He set the mood and people could not wait to get on the dance floor. EVERYONE was dancing- people of every age and even people who are known to never dance at weddings. We used him for our cocktail hour and reception.

We shopped around for DJ's and were SO happy we went with Brendan. He was so professional and was attentive to every question and request we had. He stuck to our "must play" and "do not play" lists and was really great at reading the crowd and taking requests from our guests. Brendan is amazing and was one of the best wedding vendor’s we worked with!! We picked him for piano, lighting and DJ services. Brendan conducts himself in a professional and classy manner.

The lighting looked amazing in the cocktail area and ball room. There was plenty of lighting and the color was vivid. We also had a custom monogram made that was displayed on the dance floor.

From the planning process to the wedding, Brendan was great with communication. Anytime I called or emailed I received a prompt response. He also has a great website to enter in all of your requests and event details. During the reception he checked in to make sure we were happy and ask if we needed anything.

Something I really appreciated about Brendan was his honesty. When researching parent, anniversary and intro songs he shared his experiences of how the song worked for other couples (ie. song to short, not popular, song to fast).

Using his knowledge and experience we were able to select a great list of songs that kept our guests dancing from the intro’s to last dance. The floor was ALWAYS packed with everyone from teenagers to our 88 year old grandmother. We heard nothing but good things from our guests about Brendan’s song choices. I would highly recommend Brendan for your event !

B-Sharp entertainment helped make our wedding a great party. We planned our wedding remotely; Brendan was flexible about having planning calls when it was most convenient for us. The planning website was easy to use and it was fun for us to be so involved in the music selection, especially because we have some strong opinions about music. Brendan also did his research, we had some unique music requests and Brendan previewed all of them well in advance of the wedding and he had access to all of them, which was important because then the original was played at the wedding and not a cover of the songs we wanted. Our biggest demand was that we didn’t want any cheesy stuff, like games and Brendan stuck to that solidly. Many DJ’s now present themselves as MC’s or entertainers but we wanted a DJ who could blend in with the party and he really did. At the wedding, we felt like every song he played was one of our requests; it was like having your own personal radio at the wedding. Brendan was also able to read our music style from our request list and also read the crowd. Despite the fact that this was a daytime wedding, everyone was up and dancing the whole time and he completely respected the “do not play” list. All our guests had extremely positive things to say about Brendan and his work, as well. We would highly recommend Brendan to others in the area.

For our recent wedding we hired B Sharp Entertainment for our DJ services and lighting and it was not only exceptional that day but it was incredibly flexible leading up to our wedding day. We only had to meet with Brendan twice which was convenient for our VERY busy schedules. You can completely design your music for your wedding day right online in your own personal account. From ceremony music to reception music-it covered all the bases. The day of our wedding Brendan was very professional and kept everything running smoothly. "Our style is fun, upbeat and positive, but never cheesy. We won’t turn your reception into a circus, and we’ll never do anything that could embarrass you or your guests."

These words were what jumped out at me when I looked at B-Sharp Entertainment's website. We've all been to events with cheesy, over the top, classless DJ's. As a bride, it was one of my worst fears that I would end up with one of THOSE guys for my wedding. However, as soon as I had my first conversation with Brendan, I knew he was anything BUT that. He answered my email promptly and made phone contact soon after that. One of my main concerns was that I was working with a budget, which I let him know up front. He was understanding of that and was willing to give me a rough estimate over the phone, just to make sure that we were on the same page. I found this refreshing after encountering several other DJ's who would flat out NOT talk money. Brendan's rates were reasonable, his schedule was flexible and it was evident right away that he loves what he does. He has a great sense of humor and was SO easy to work with, and he let us set the theme for our wedding, offering helpful advice where we needed it and some great suggestions. He picked up our vibe right away and was open to our ideas (even though some of them were a little unconventional). We knew we had found our guy and we were not let down! Brendan arrived early on the day of our wedding. His appearance was neat and professional, and his presence throughout the evening was the same. He was a great host, he played all the songs we really wanted to hear (and none that we didn't) and he was really in tune with what the guests wanted. Our dance floor was packed from the minute he opened it up, right 'til the very last song. Brendan made our wedding night the best party of our lives, and I can honestly say that it wouldn't have been the same without him. We would (and will) recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

From the first time we met him to review the details of our wedding, to him promptly answering emails, and being flexible to last minute changes, he was unbelievable to work with! Brendan played the keyboard during cocktail hour and our guests were not only raving about how great he was, but also about the music during the reception! We have a crazy crew of family and friends, but many ppl commented on the variety of great music and the dance floor was packed the whole night with guests of all ages! Thank you for everything.. It was a pleasure working with you!

Brendan was my DJ for my wedding reception, and I highly recommend him. He is very professional and was super responsive whenever I emailed him. He kept the dance floor full all night, which was awesome. The whole reception was seamless--totally perfect! Thank you, Brendan!!

Brendan did the best job at our wedding! He had EVERYONE on the dance floor with an excellent variety of music. I know everyone at our wedding heard one, if not many, song that they loved. Brendan also played many special request song for us which really personalized the night. Excellent job Brendan!!!

We used Brendan for our wedding this past weekend and all around he did an excellent job. He was professional, thorough, responsive, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process.

Quality of Service - all around excellent. Very professional website and extensive song list to select tracks to play and not to play. Allowed for us to do just the right amount of customization. It also accepts payment in a variety of ways which was convenient. He also provides a list of different common wedding events that you may want to include and offers suggestions about what you might want to add. For example he had a great suggestion for our centerpiece giveaway which is something that we had forgotten about until he brought it up. The photo booth was also excellent in terms of quality of photos, organization of photos, and the level of service from the attendant. We also had uplighting which I didn't really notice during the night (too busy dancing :P) but other people thought was lovely.

Responsiveness - superb. spoke with him several times before our wedding and made himself available at times convenient to us.

Professionalism - also excellent; both beforehand with all of the planning and also during the event. this also extends to Chris who operated the photo booth at our wedding. Brendan talked us through everything in the plan for the reception and then executed the plan pretty flawlessly.

Value - Excellent value. We had quotes from a few different DJs and Brendan came in right around the midpoint of the quotes. The quality of the product for the price is excellent though making his services an outstanding value. He has great skills as a DJ and an MC. The photobooth service was excellent for quality and service. The uplighting was good as well.

Flexibility - Excellent.

BRENDAN! Thank you for being such an important and valuable part of our wedding day! Throughout the planning process, you were responsive, flexible, informative and creative. Your online planning tools were helpful and easy to use.
Your piano-playing skills for our ceremony and cocktail hour were impeccable (especially with our two random ceremony song requests), and you seamlessly collaborated with our venue coordinator, videographer and officiant.
During the reception, you epitomized every reason we wanted to go with a DJ instead of a band -- you kept the evening moving without a hitch, checking in with us to switch around the schedule as needed. You were a perfect emcee -- never showy or distracting, but ever-helpful and on-point. Your assistant Chris (I hope I am remembering his name correctly?) was also so professional. The uplighting you installed in the ballroom was great and added to the atmosphere. And, finally, of course! You kept the dance floor packed for hours on end. Every guest, of every age, was dancing, singing and sweating :)
In the flurry of the end of the reception, I didn't get to really thank you for your partnership, so, in addition to this review, I'll send you a proper thank you note.
Brides and grooms, if you need a DJ and/or pianist in the southern New England area, Brendan is your guy.

Brendan Lafferty was highly recommended to my husband and I, and let me tell you he did not disappoint in one bit. Great energy and friendly, which to me it's a plus. Kept everyone on the dance floor all night. I would definitely hire him again. He also provided us with the lighting and photobooth, which it was amazing! To all future brides or anyone who's looking for a great DJ, Brendan Lafferty is your DJ to go to.
