Basic retouching of each image purchased is provided in order that you receive the best image possible; sepia-tones and vignetting are used on occasion to enhance the look and feel of a special photograph.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I've photographed weddings in small, dimly-lit chapels (using a tripod and wide lens), in well-lit homes, and outdoors (midday and evening).

Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot digital, using a Nikon D200.

How many photographers do you work with?
I typically bring an apprentice photographer and an assistant who does not shoot photos.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
In the event of an emergency or unforeseen disaster, I have several photographers in my network with whom I will get in contact in order to have your wedding covered!

Tips and Advice
Q:  What should I look for in a photographer?
A:    There are a lot of things you’ll want to consider when choosing the photographer for
your big day!  Not everyone will be a perfect fit and you want to make sure that your photographer complements your personality and can relate well with
you.  If you’re not comfortable with your photographer, your photographs will show it!
STYLE:  Photographers styles vary, just as their personalities do.  When selecting a photographer, choose one whose style and ‘eye’ are pleasing to you.  Some
photographers shoot more posed photos, others choose a more candid, photojournalistic approach.  Choose a photographer whose style appeals to you, based
on their website, portfolio, or sample images.
PRICE:  Just as their styles vary, photography prices will also vary, based on multiple factors such as experience or services offered.  The best thing you can do is
choose a photographer who has the things you need at the prices you can afford.  Photography is an investment.

Q:  What will my timeline be on the day of the wedding?

A:  It’s important to consider the things YOU want to capture the day of your wedding.  Standard
practice is to have your photographer arrive at least an hour and a half prior to the ceremony time in order to capture the bride and groom getting ready.
Often, the photographer can work together with the wedding coordinator to make sure that all images are taken care of.  You’ll also need to allocate about 45
minutes after the ceremony for formal pictures.  Remember, this isn’t just family, but also wedding party – and the first pictures you’ll take together as
husband and wife!

Q:  What if I see something I like in a magazine or website?
A:    Tear it out!  Print it off!  Keep it!  Absolutely feel free to bring any poses or images you like to your consultations.  This is a great opportunity for me to get to
know what styles you like so that I can capture images you’ll love.

Q:  My parents are crazy, my fiancé blinks in every picture and the kids are  running wild – now what?!

A:  Relax.  Working under pressure and with distractions is what I do best!  My job is to make
sure that you can be focused on more important things.  Not only have I photographed multiple weddings with various distractions, my extensive experience
working with and photographing children has given me a great deal of confidence in my “deal with it” abilities!  We will work with the blinkers and the in‐laws
(and outlaws) to ensure that your photos are as stress‐free as possible.

Q:  Are there any extra costs and is my deposit refundable?
A:    The quote you receive is based on your needs and choices and is your final price.  There will be no extra costs or hidden fess popping up – your quote will
include all services, travel, tax, and shipping costs.  If you choose at a later date to add additional printing services or albums to your order, a new quote will be
written for these services.
The deposit is not refundable. This is because the day has been set aside so that no other weddings or events will be booked.  The balance of your investment
must be paid on or before your wedding date.
