Describe your DJ style:
Very interactive, while still maintaining the focus on the Bride and Groom. We offer a classy and energetic experience that keep the guests dancing.

What is your usual attire?
Formal attire for both Jonathon and I.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
We have a vast library of DJ Music, but in the event we don't have a particular song , we just buy it. Making sure we have their songs is something we obtain weeks prior to the wedding.

How many other DJs do you work with?
From the first consultation to the last song at the reception, It's Jonathon and myself. Getting to know my clients on a personal level ensures that their wedding will be exactly how they envisioned it to be.

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
We charge a flat fee of up to five hours for 1195.00, which includes multiple consultations, travel, set up, and even basic first dance choreography for the bride and groom

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
It's important for a bride to meet her DJ before booking. I would never book a DJ for such an important once in a lifetime event without interviewing and checking references beforehand.

Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
I grew up in New York City with an appreciation for different ethnic backgrounds. I speak Spanish and French and enjoy all types of music.

Do you bring your own equipment?
We bring all our own equipment and back up, as well, to ensure that the event is flawless

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We normally don't include lighting and bubbles. If the couple would like a light package we can definitely provide it .

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
About 45 minutes to set up and do a proper sound check. The venues usually supplies a 6 foot table for our gear.

Do you have any extra space requirements?
Just a safe area to mount our speakers and run our cables

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Anyone can play music, but a professional emcee sets the tone and the flow for the reception. He maintains the focus on the Bride and Groom and keeps the energy level throughout the celebration

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We don't require a meal break. I don't eat at a wedding, because we're entertaining even during dinner.

Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
No need, since we don't ever take breaks

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Once again, It's Jonathon and myself. We have over 25 years of entertainment experience and we have never missed an event. We usually arrive two hours ahead of schedule to the event. It safeguards us against unforeseen delays like weather or even a flat tire.

What is your overtime rate?
100.00 for an extra half hour or 150.00 for a full hour of overtime

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
We do charge for travel expenses. We've been contracted to do weddings out of state. We usually have to calculate mileage, travel time, and accommodations and that certainly adds to our usual fees.
