DJ Bertie did an *amazing* job DJ'ing my wedding. Friends and family members are still complimenting me on the music/dance floor at my wedding, which is pretty high praise coming from people who are essentially dance floor connoisseurs. It was awesome to see him create an environment where members of the wedding party were getting down right alongside grandparents.

But I wouldn't just recommend working with him because he played a great set; he also was wonderful to work with. More than any of the other vendors we used, I really felt like he took the time to work with me to understand my specific vision for the music. I felt like he provided the perfect balance of letting me choose specific songs that were important to me, but also *expertly* filling in the gaps between these songs and the general vision with other songs that just fit perfectly. Working with him was also totally stress-free (the holy grail in wedding planning!).

Basically, DJ Bertie is the best. We could not be happier with how the music at our wedding turned out. If you're looking to dance the night away, look no further and hire DJ Bertie.

When we hired a DJ for our wedding, we knew that we did not want a "typical" wedding DJ. Our guest list was mainly friends of ours, in the upper 20's to early 30's, who love a good party. Before booking, we wanted to ensure that the vibes would be perfect for our event, and Alex informed us that he DJs at the nightclubs our whole friend group goes to regularly for a fun night out, and even provided video samples of his prior club gigs. We hit him with some pretty ridiculous requests, like playing bluegrass/classic rock during dinner and then an immediate transition to early 2000's and 2010's hip hop and rap. My specific words to him were that I "wanted it to get ratchet" and he absolutely delivered. While his 'party' DJ skills were perfect for us, the bluegrass and country/rock he selected for our dinner service was perfect and genuinely enjoyed by the older crowd of guests. Alex kept our dance floor packed the entire night, which is hard to do for an entire wedding! Our guests still, months later, speak about how our wedding had the most fun music of any they have attended. As an MC, Alex did a great job introducing our bridal party, making announcements, and keeping communication on time for the flow of our events. Additionally, he was kind enough to let us use a microphone for our ceremony at a discounted rate instead of insisting we hire him for our simple ceremony. Alex is truly a good guy and an excellent DJ. We cannot recommend him enough!

DJ Bertie was incredible! He communicated clearly from the start and had an amazing sense of timing. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator, but he still nailed every cue perfectly. He followed our inspo and ran with it, getting younger and older folks out dancing. Alex was a big part of setting the mood for the night, and boy…did our friends & family have the best time ever. We’re big music lovers and music was really important for our wedding. DJ Bertie surpassed all expectations and threw in songs that we wouldn’t have thought of, but fit the vibe perfectly.

Every single one of our guests (even the ones that hate dancing) were on the dance floor all night. There were multiple people that came up to us complimenting the music and asked where the heck we found him. Some friends asked if anyone recorded his set so they could re-listen.

We booked Alex for our wedding at The Surf Hotel in Buena Vista and you absolutely should too! From the day we inquired about his availability until the last song was played Alex was commited to providing an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. The ceremony music was perfectly choreographed, the dance floor was packed, and the vibes were electric when Alex was showing off his skills mixing and transitioning between songs! We also elected to add the photo booth option from Alex which was run by Melina throughout the night - it turned out to be quite popular and she was so sweet and patient to everyone! All the talent and energy Alex brought our wedding made the night, don't pass him up!

DJ Bertie was great for our wedding at Copper Mountain, not only playing songs but mixing throughout the entire night to keep everyone on the dance floor. He was organized and helpful during planning, and worked ours and our guests' song requests into his playlists seamlessly. Thank you for the awesome tunes, Alex!

Alex (DJ Bertie) was one of the best wedding decisions and vendors we hired. He absolutely crushed it. My husband and I are both big dancers and were most looking forward to a lit dance floor. From beginning to end Alex turned it up and kept everyone out there. He actually mixes music and builds transition, so no song is on for too long and every song vibes into the next. We had 100 people on the dance floor the whole time. Almost every guest came up to us and said this was the funnest dance floor they'd ever been on and that is 100% credit to Alex.
