Copper Mountain is a full-service destination resort...
- Copper Mountain Resort is conveniently located off Interstate 70 at exit 195, 75 miles west of Denver in Summit County, Colorado. With its unique setting in the Rocky Mountains, you'll be spoiled by the panoramic views, friendly staff, and a choice of venues for your celebrations.
- Copper offers on-site lodging and plenty of year-round activities, dining, and shopping for you and your guests to enjoy.
- In addition to Weddings and Receptions, Copper can host bridal showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, elopements, and vow renewal ceremonies. All functions are catered in-house by our talented culinary teams.
We offer Weddings in both Summer and Winter...
- Our Summer wedding season usually begins around the last week in June through the end of September.
- Winter weddings are offered from mid-November until the first week in May, while the resort is open for skiing. A 'spring' wedding at Copper will come with a snowy backdrop! Winter dates are on a request-only basis to ensure we can accommodate alongside regular ski operations and events.
- As a general rule, we have very limited opportunities to host weddings during May and October due to weather and operational closures.
Our Wedding Venues
- Mid-mountain lodge, Aerie, offers a sophisticated modern setting with breathtaking panoramic views. Sitting at 11,500ft and accessed by the American Eagle lift, this unique venue provides a complete ski resort experience both in summer and winter. Summertime ceremonies take place at the Aerie Gazebo, and in the Winter we set the ceremony outside on the Forage & Feast deck. Winter wedding receptions and summer receptions with up to 100 guests are hosted exclusively in Forage & Feast on the upper level. Summer weddings for 100-180 guests will have a dual-level reception that utilizes the whole building, with dinner in the Aerie Dining Hall and dancing in Forage & Feast!
- Copper Creek Vista, located at the golf course in East Village, is an easily accessible venue for up to 200 guests surrounded by lush green mountains. Large Receptions can take place just steps away at the Grand Hall, with its vaulted ceiling, vast windows and wrap around deck.
- Indoor ceremonies are available on the Mezzanine above the Grand Hall.
- Intimate private ceremonies for less than 70 people are offered on the deck at Koko's Hut during peak summer months - this venue has private lift access on the Kokomo Express Chairlift. JJ's Rocky Mountain Tavern provides the perfect reception spot.
- Copper also has a variety of other banquet spaces that can be used for wedding celebrations... we are happy to suggest options based on your guest count and budget.
Site tours are offered year-round.
