History
The historical restoration of FREIGHT was a team effort by the Anderson family. Architects Nan and Dave Anderson considered every structural detail and used archival photos to rehabilitate the freight depot. It’s full of special touches like restored original windows and preserved graffiti on the walls. The family's goal was to honor and capture the past while creating an elegant space for the future. The earliest recorded date on the building is an etching of October 4th, 1884, most likely carved by a former railroad worker. In the 1900s, it was used by the Smith Lumber Company for storage.
