Depending on the size and instrumentation of the musical group, but usually an hour.
How much space do you usually require?
Depending on the size of the musical group, from 10' x 8' for solo musician to 15' x 25' for 15-pc band.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
No
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
Yes, we customize, depending on how much emcee-ing the client wants.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We ask for food to be provided on gigs 4-hours and longer
Do you play recorded music during your break?
Yes, unless it is requested that we don't
What is your overtime rate?
Usually $75 p/person p/hour, flexible depending on total picture.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Yes, outside of Indianapolis area. Currently, $.50 mile, but depends on number of musicians and number of vehicles required. It's adjusted often, according to current gasoline prices. $10 p/person p/hour travel time outside of Indianapolis area.
