How do you
identify your primary photographic style?
All of the above but my strongest is candid or photojournalistic. |
Please describe
any special techniques you offer:
Included at no extra charge with every package is a variety of color, b&w, sepia and the artsy ones with the b&w image and a color bouquet. I also try to add a different twist to your photos, helping you to have a fun, relaxing and creative event. Plus at the end of the process, you own all your photos so you may do as you wish with them. |
Which lighting
situations do you have experience with?
All. |
Do you have a
media preference?
All digital. |
How many
photographers do you work with?
I am the main photographer at your event. You may also add a second photographer to any package for an additional cost. |
Do you
guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. I never have anyone "fill-in" for me or replace me. You hire me for my eye so understandably I should be there. If an accident happened or I was in the hospital, then I would obviously have to make arrangements otherwise, that's life. |
Do you
sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
No not in one day.
As far as per weekend: This is my first year of doing more than one a weekend and it's turning out fine. Very rarely do I allow 3 a weekend. |
Do you have a
replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on
the wedding day?
Yes. |
What kind of
equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
3 Digital cameras, 3 different kinds of main lenses (I also have two back up lenses besides that) and 3 external flashes. Mega pixel sizes: 10mp, 8.1mp, and my back up is 6.3mp. Also extra flash cards, batteries, etc. |
Do you bring
back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes. |
Do you charge
hourly or full day?
Full day. |
Do you require
a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party
provide your meal?
Yes. But if you prefer not to feed me, that's ok, just tell me ahead of time so I may bring something. It doesn't have to be the "wedding party" it can be the event coordinator or the facility you are holding it at. The wedding party is too busy, lol... |
How many breaks
do you usually take throughout the day?
I think this question is silly. I'm human. But I don't take many, nor would I want to incase I'd miss something. But I do have to take restroom breaks but I obviously work around the events. My main two breaks are as the food is served I charge up batteries, check equipment. Then a quick eating break if I get one. If I am at an event for more than 8 hours, I may sit down at the end of the reception for a quick break as my feet are probably sore. |
Do you charge
for travel?
Yes per hour travel starting at anything beyond an hour from 12828. |
How soon after
the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
You own all your photos at high resolution with in 8-10 weeks. |
In what format
are the initial proofs offered?
DVD storage discs unless CDs are requested. And some small versions put on my website to share. |
How long can
the couple keep the proofs?
I don't do "proofs" - you own them. |
Do you retain
the copyright for the photos?
No. You may make your own prints, copies. But I should always be stated as the original artist if published.
|
Do you reserve
the right to publish the photos?
Yes. Unless requested private. |
Do you provide
the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the
negatives) to the couple?
Digital files. |
Will images be
available for viewing on an online gallery?
Only some, again, as a display not in any ordering format be cause you will own them all soon after. |
What kind of
albums do you offer?
Traditional and starting to get into the custom designed tabletops. I also offer Parent albums as well as a proof album at an additional cost. And since you own your own photos you can make your own book on blurb.com or shutterfly, com or walmart.com, the possiblities are endless! |
When will I get
the final book?
At the same time you receive the photos, 8-10 weeks. |
How long does
it take to deliver a book?
I add insurance and a sign confirmation, maybe 3-9 days? Again, that's after the turn around time of 8-10 weeks. |
