What is your usual attire?
Normally a tuxedo but we allow our clients to specify that in our contract agreement within reason.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Only if they already have it; generally we'll get it if it
is still available.

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
3 hours
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely - we highly recommend it because if our personalities clash, we'll recommend someone else.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Yes, ehtnic origin doesn't matter; we're familiar with nearly all ethnic traditions.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes we're fully equipped and with equivalent backup gear to handle up to 1000 people. I might also add that our sound system is a cut above what most DJ's consider state-of-the-art.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
As the "Gear Guru" for ProDJ.com, we've got it all - Besides music, we can provide music videos and/or slideshows on large projection screens and/or plasma TVs, uplighting, colorful dance floor effects lighting, large 'club style' lighting, live video camera and an entire array of special effects like cold fog, haze, bubbles, mirrored balls etc. Our latest addition is a night-sky laser starfield.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
For DJ/MC services only about 30 minutes. If video and/or lighting are required, then it could be as much as 3 hours depending on what services are required.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Normally a standard 6 ft. banquet table is all we need. Additional space would be required for video projection, plasma monitors and large club lighting setups. Our largest
setup may also require additional electrical power known as
a "power drop".
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Act as Master of Ceremonies YES, talk between songs is kept
to an absolute minimum. We believe in speaking only when requested or necessary.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
This is left up to the client and its never expected. We realize that your budget only goes so far and we're not going to ask you for more.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
N/A since we don't take any but, yes if required.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, my assistant and the entire membership of the Baltimore
Area DJ Association, Inc.
What is your overtime rate?
$100 per half hour
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Only if travel exceeds a 50 mile radius from our base of operations in Millersville,MD. Beyond that we charge an additional $100 per additional 50 mile radius. For an out of state contract, hotel accomodation cost will be considered.
