Congratulations! The most important part of the day has taken place — you’ve said “I Do”. Now it's time to forget about all the stress and celebrate the day. And that’s where we step in and make it so you can be a guest at your own wedding reception! Selecting the entertainment for your wedding reception is very important. Even after time has gone by, there will be a select few items that almost every guest will remember from your wedding reception: - how beautiful the bride looked - the food - and how everyone celebrated your special day through music and dancing – your DJ!. Since 1992, Neon Moon Entertainment has been providing quality professional disc jockey services specializing in wedding receptions throughout Michigan. We pride ourselves on the fact that 100% of our bookings have been through “word of mouth” advertising. Whether our clients have found out about Neon Moon Entertainment from a former customer, a guest at one of the events we were at or from another wedding professional or facility, we are honored and very grateful to those who have spread the word about our services. Your Disc Jockey What some people don’t realize is that your disc jockey is more than someone who just shows up and plays your music. Through experience, a disc jockey should be able to set the mood via music, be the one to help keep the flow going and is the one person that all other vendors rely upon to find out what will happen next. Except for the banquet hall personnel, your DJ is the one vendor who will be at the reception prior to the first guest’s arrival and is usually the last one to leave. When you hire Neon Moon Entertainment for your wedding reception, we become in essence, your personal coordinator for the evening. We will act as your Master of Ceremonies and help orchestrate the details of the evening the way you want it, allowing you to have a good time and enjoy your family and friends. We will work together with your caterer, photographer, videographer and other vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly. And of course, we will also know what kind of music to play to make the event enjoyable for all ages. To make this happen, we’ll meet with you well in advance to go over each activity that will occur. At this meeting, we will discuss the desired mood of the evening, go over the flow of activities, make song selections and even break down the pronunciations of your bridal party names. We’ll start with the cocktail music and your introduction as bride and groom and end with traditional favorites such as the Dollar Dance and Bouquet & Garter. To make your reception even more memorable for you and your guests, we can provide you with some suggestions that we have gathered from our seventeen years of experience in the wedding business. |
