Weddings at the Lodge
Start your life together on the shores of Lake Michigan. We’ll help you plan your special day from start to finish. We take care of every detail, so instead of thinking of your wedding day, you can focus on each other. Best of all, your honeymoon begins the moment you say, "I do." A Michillinda Lodge wedding creates a lifetime of memories. Basic Wedding Services Total site fee for all of the above - $3000
Add $3 per guest chair rental for the ceremony site if needed.Add $5 per guest chair rental for the ceremony site if it is on the beach. Reception Meal$60 per person $65 per person plated
Includes complete hosted bar, four hors d’ oeuvres, 3 entrees, 2 starches, 2 vegetables, champagne toast before dinner, cake cutting and service. Complete hosted bar runs for five hours and includes your choice of five liquors, five beers, two wines and one champagne. There is an additional fee of $75 for each bartender per 75 guests. 12-20 yr. Olds are $40.00 per person and children, ages 3-11 yrs. old are $20.00 per person.Room Charges$150.00 per room per night Special Wedding rates apply only to those rooms reserved with a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $50 per room per night at the time the wedding is booked. This deposit for rooms will then be subtracted from the final bill for the wedding. Normal Lodge room rates apply to all later additions. Room prices are based on two adults, a service charge of 10%, sales tax of 6%, and 5% county room tax will also be added to all lodging charges, please inform your guests. Policies Guarantee Policy A guarantee of attendance must be received 14 full days prior to your wedding. This is the minimum number of people for which you will be charged. Only increases will be accepted after this time due to availability. If no final count is received you will be charged for the highest number estimated. Michillinda Lodge will provide food for 5% above the guaranteed amount not to exceed ten. Cancellation Policy In the signing of this contract you are agreeing to pay a cancellation fee for loss of business if you cancel less than six months before your event. The cancellation fee will be 50% of the anticipated billing. If another group utilizes this space the fee may be pro rated or waived. Michillinda Lodge has the sole authority to make this determination the day after the event. The non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is separate from the cancellation fee and will not be applied to it. Food & Beverage Service Michillinda Lodge will supply all food and beverages. No food will be permitted into Michillinda excluding the wedding cake or special dietary needs, which must be approved prior to the event. In addition no food prepared and served at Michillinda will be allowed to leave the premises. All alcoholic beverages must stay in designated areas. Liability Policy Michillinda Lodge is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles. Michillinda reserves the right to inspect and manage all private functions. The client agrees to indemnify and hold Michillinda harmless for all damages caused to persons or property by you and your guests’ intentional or negligent acts of omissions. Damages maybe offset from any additional damage deposit held by Michillinda Lodge with the balance to be paid by you upon receipt of notice from Michillinda. You will also be responsible for all cost and expenses associated with the enforcement of this provision, including attorney fees. Time Guarantee Policy Fourteen days prior to your wedding you must provide Michillinda with a written copy of the timeline of your wedding, including ceremony time (if here), social hour, dinner, bar opening and closing and any other times needed by Michillinda to make your wedding run successfully. If you delay service times by more than 30 minutes, Michillinda cannot be responsible for the quality or temperature of foods and beverages. There will be an additional charge of $150.00 if your group is more than 30 minutes late and $75.00 per quarter hour after. Picture Policy Michillinda Lodge reserves the right to use any appropriate pictures taken during your wedding to use for advertising/display purposes. Noise Policy Venue Curfew: All music must end by 11:00pm in accordance with township ordinance. Deposit & Payment Policy Payment must be paid in full two days before your wedding. A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $3,000 is needed to secure your wedding date. This contract will not be valid until deposit is paid in full. Also an 18% gratuity will be added to all purchases excluding the site fee and a 6% sales tax will be added to all purchases. The operation of any form of fireworks at Michillinda is not permitted. Bar Policy Michillinda Lodge reserves the right to refuse service to minors and any intoxicated guests for your safety and the safety of our staff. All bars on Michillinda Lodge property will end promptly at 11:00 PM. No Exceptions! All alcohol must stay within the designated areas. Anyone suspected of breaking this policy will be immediately banned from Michillinda property. There is an additional fee of $75 for each bartender per every 75 guest.
