I relocated to Delaware full time from about two years ago and took some time finding a new spa to call home. I tried quite a few in the area and am thrilled that a friend recommended Made Ya Look! I know go there regularly and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is always so friendly from reminding me on the phone about upcoming appointments, knowing me by name when I come in, and actually remembering my conversations from previous visits.

Needless to say, when I got engaged I immediately knew what spa would take care of me for my special day. My maid of honor and I are both pretty low key people who call chapstick and a hair tie our version of hair and makeup. We both arrived to have our makeup done by Heidi, who came is special for me on her day off, and couldn’t have been happier. Heidi made us look so perfect without being overdone. It was such a great experience to sit back, close your eyes, and open them to something so fantastic.

Next up, I had my hair done with Cathy. Cathy and I had a trial beforehand which was another great experience. We were able to go over a picture I found that I thought was great and tweak it until it became something of my own. I can’t even count how many people commented on how great my hair looked. The wedding was at noon and I rocked that hairstyle all day until about 11pm when I finally called it a day. Not only that, but my makeup was still looking great too.

I also had my shellac mani and a spa pedi for the wedding the week before the wedding. I had not had any appointments with Chelsea before, but she was so personable. She helped me pick a nice neutral color that would go great for the day, but would also look great on my honeymoon. And I’m thrilled to report that both my mani and pedi held up through the wedding week and a week in Jamaica without a chip! And she even came and chatted with me on my wedding day while I got my hair and makeup done.

For anyone looking for new to the area, looking for a new spa, or planning their special day I cannot recommend Made Ya Look enough. The ENTIRE staff is great. You’ll be glad to meet Donna, Jen and Jay up front who will keep you laughing and make you feel like family after that first appointment.
