From the moment I met with Russel for my trial I knew that he would be my makeup artist for my wedding day! He is fun, extremely friendly and, not to mention… hilarious! The morning of my wedding the team showed up with plenty of time to set up and start preparing. From the moment he walked in the door, he just has this way of making pre-wedding nerves go away. He was putting a smile on everyone’s face. He took into account every detail I had mentioned to him and my wedding makeup came out absolutely stunning! So many makeup artists nowadays just layer so many products and can look cakey. This is not the case with Russel, he uses just enough product to get the exact look you’re going for. He is also great with all ages and I guarantee will make you look 10 years younger! Cannot recommend him enough. Will definitely be using him for my next wedding (just kidding).

I had the pleasure of having Russell do my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding in 2013. His talent, his customer service and the overall experience left such an impact that I knew I wanted him to do the makeup for my wedding when the day came. When I got engaged, Russell was the very first person I reached out to as soon as we set the date, and I heard back from him the same evening. Russell traveled ~2 hrs very early in the morning to accommodate my large wedding party and brought with him such a positive energy. I could not say enough great things about how everyone's makeup looked. I would 100% recommend Russell to anyone in need of a makeup artist -- he is phenomenal!!

Russell came highly recommended to me from a friend and I am so glad I decided to go with him. From the moment I met him, I felt that I was in great hands. Russell did my trial make up on the day of my bridal shower and I received so many compliments. On the day of my wedding, he was the one who kept me at ease and calm. I was stressed and panicked and while my bridesmaids were getting ready he kept me laughing. Seriously, if it wasn't for him I would have been in tears.
Russell and his team completed our makeup in a timely fashion and it was incredible! I received so many compliments. I would hire Russell again, for another event of course.

As the MOB I was looking for a make up artist experienced in enhancing my features without making me look like a different person.
I found that artist after talking with Russell over the phone, followed by having a trial makeup.
Russell listens to you and will not give you a look you do not want. He is professional and experienced in his work. He enhances your features by combining the right colors and technique.
He, along with his team of hair stylists were excellent. They all worked seamlessly together organizing hair & makeup. Considering it was a large bridal party, it all went amazingly well and we even reached our deadline for being ready on time!

I hired Russell off of a personal recommendation followed by a trial, and it was the absolute best thing I did. If you are looking for amazing makeup work, he's your man. If you are a fan of the natural look, you absolutely must go with him. He did gorgeous work on myself, my mom, and all of my girls, and he even gave my 9-year-old flower girl niece a little something special and appropriate.

Not only are his makeup skills exceptional, but he is an amazing human being, very professional, a ton of fun, and wonderful to work with. We rescheduled 3 times due to covid and he has rolled with everything I asked.

He made all of us look and feel like our absolute best and most beautiful selves, while letting our true beauty shine through. I had my makeup done around noon and at midnight it still looked flawless. The compliments from my friends spoke volumes, and even my husband was pleased that I didn't look "made up".

Bottom line, I could not have been happier with having Russell on my glam squad, both for his skills and his personality. Hire this man!

I have so many amazing things to say about Russell. He is truly an artist. He was very punctual, professional and personable. I had such a great time with Russell. After Russell was done with my makeup, my skin has never looked so smooth and dewy. I wish Russell can do my make up everyday!!!!!

Russell and Jackie Scully were absolutely amazing to work with. Jackie's work is beyond stunning on top of her being incredibly fun to be with the morning of my wedding. We also were ahead of schedule which alleviated any need to be anxious day-of. I will be using her for every major event and recommend this team to anyone getting married!

I brought Russell to Virginia all the way from Delaware because he is that fantastic! We had our trial several months before my wedding and as a picky bride, I was so grateful that we were able to discuss my look and what made me feel most comfortable, make a few tweaks, and translate that to my wedding day look. I felt beautiful and my entire bridal party looked incredible. One of the things that meant the most to me was what great care Russell took with my Mom’s make up. She doesn’t wear much make up and was feeling nervous about being glammed up — she looked absolutely beautiful and natural and she was thrilled.
