Answer:

As your wedding coordinator I will work with you to handle as much or as little of the wedding as you wish. I will work with you to find vendors, locations, and styles that fit your personality and your wedding dreams. I will do all of the research, legwork, budgets, and timelines so that you can sit back and enjoy the planning process and your wedding day.

Do I need a Wedding Consultant?

Answer:

I believe by hiring a wedding consultant you can save you money, time and stress. A Wedding Coordinator will end up saving you money by negotiating contracts and taking advantage of discounts not available to private parties and avoiding costly mistakes. The average wedding can take more than two hundred fifty hours just to plan. Most Brides today have lifestyles, and may not have time to compare all the options, making sure you get the best deal, and make sure all the details are in place.

How long have you been in business?

Answer:

Before opening Lasting Impressions I worked as an event coordinator for a large company of restaurants for four years. I scheduled all promotional events, winemaker’s dinner, as well as weddings and rehearsal dinners. My love of planning in combination with my own wedding had drawn me towards opening my own consulting company to help other brides with their dream weddings.

Lasting Impressions offers Full or partial planning packages as well as custom designed and hourly packages. Anything you need help with we can do!

How can I tell if a Bridal Consultant is reputable?

Answer:

I believe that it is very important to be affiliated with a professional organization. I am a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and the Twin Cities Bridal Association. I am a “Professional Bridal Consultant” and have completed the Professional Development Program that is offered by the Association. This has trained me in all of the aspects to the wedding day and the planning process.

Answer:

Our rates vary based on the packages and on what your needs are. I offer a complimentary consultation so that I can get a good idea of your needs and design a package that works well for you and your budget.

What qualities should you look for in a consultant?

Answer:

More than experience level or professional accreditations you should find and work with a consultant who you feel comfortable with. I spend a lot of time with my brides and it is important that we work well together.
