DJ Micheal was the DJ at our wedding reception in July 2022. He was the highlight of the day! He was amazing to work with- communicative, flexible, responsive, reliable, kind, and fun. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and get to know our vibe and the vibe we wanted throughout the reception. We got hundreds of compliments from our guests- and our dance floor was FULL the entire night! He was so fun, and created such a fun, party vibe at our reception. 10/10 recommend- we will be hiring him for all of our future parties!

I don’t remember how I found him, might have been Facebook but I can’t remember. All I knew was that I needed to have him as my DJ. My mom and I love Prince and my wedding was heavily influenced by our love of Prince and everything purple. Michael was a former house DJ at Paisley Park and I knew he would be perfect. I was right. First off, he was very flexible with out 3 date changes. The communication was excellent. From the moment he arrived he was ready to have a good time and that vibe radiated through the entire hall. We provided him some must play songs but I really just wanted him to do what he does best. Play music people want to hear. I told him “do what your heart tells you, you’re the pro.” He read the room and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. People were complimenting me all night and the next day about how great the DJ was. I cannot recommend Michael strongly enough, you will not be disappointed. He was the best part of my night!

Michael was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding day. He was SO extremely attentive to our wants and needs for our wedding day as well as super down to earth and personable. He was extremely organized and helped us with everything from the day of timeline to activities to do during our dinner! Michael is amazing! Michael is so worth it, we are still getting compliments about how great he was!

Michael was absolutely amazing at our wedding! He was extremely communicative leading up to the wedding and played an AMAZING playlist for our day! He was also upbeat, fun, and so accommodating to our somewhat odd requests. He also recommended our videographer who turned out to be awesome too! He definitely goes above and beyond. Definitely use him for your wedding or any other event!

I don't even know where to begin when explaining how incredible Michael is. From our initial meeting, to the planning process, to our wedding day, Michael went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. When we met Michael for the first time, he explained that his goal is to make sure the bride and groom show up to their wedding feeling like guests so they can enjoy the day and not worry about anything. Let me tell you, he did just that, and more. My husband was so impressed with Michael's client area and planning forms that the minute we left our initial meeting he said we needed to book Michael. From that moment on, Michael was so on top of everything when it came to timelines, planning, and making sure our day was exactly how we envisioned. Michael even drove over an hour to do a walk through of our venue with us prior to the wedding to ensure everything for the set up and logistics would be perfect(including uplighting which we booked through him and made a WORLD of difference at our venue). A couple months before our wedding, my husband and I decided we wanted to do something special for his mom and my dad during our dances, and we brought our idea to Michael. We said we would like to do a slide show for our parents with special messages recorded to them to play during the songs, and Michael didn't skip a beat in offering to help! Michael invited us to his house and used his equipment to record our messages, then put together a whole slide show with our pictures and lined everything up perfectly. I don't know of any other DJ who would be willing to do so much just to help make a day so special. Then the actual day came, and the minute we stepped into the reception, we did not have to worry about a single thing. Michael made everything go SO smoothly and the dance floor was packed all night. I wish I had more room, but will wrap up by saying booking Michael was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and he is truly one of a kind!!

Our experience with Michael was AMAZING! He was so personable and made sure that our day was all about us. On our big day, we didn't have to worry about anything because we knew how organized he was. Everything went perfect and I hope everyone tries him out.

Michael was amazing! He was always easy to communicate with, and did and amazing job being the DJ and MC!! He played all the right music and the lighting he used was perfect! Michael Holtz is amazing! You cannot go wrong working with 2 The Maxx Entertainment; communication, service, and follow through was perfect. Michael was very easy to communicate with, he made himself available via email, text, phone and in person- all with timely responses. The contact was so clean cut and easy and his client online site allowed for planning the schedule of events with timelines and notes/assignments of the wedding party - this was very helpful for the photographer and family. Payments were so simple with an online payment service. Michael was great with providing DJ service and officiating the ceremonies (we had two ceremonies at our wedding). With the ceremonies, he was very open being a part of a surprise vow renewal for my husband’s parents. Michael was very attentive and assisted with gathering the wedding party for photos, dances, speeches, and dinner. Michael’s enthusiasm and personable personality was great during the whole process of first contact to the end of the event. If you want a professional, flexible, and open-minded DJ, Michael Holtz is the man you want hire!
