We went with Gen Now DJs because they have such a strong presence and reputation in the twin cities for any and all events and we were not disappointed! We were told by so many couples how important the DJ was to set the tone of the night and keep the party going - which is 100% true - and we knew with the Gen Now team we would not have to stress about this. They are truly pros! Tim is super easy to reach and quick to respond and set us up with DJ Munya! DJ Munya was awesome and has the BEST energy. We knew right away after meeting him that we didn’t need to worry about him getting the party started or keeping it going. DJ Munya is charismatic and has an awesome voice for announcing. His dinner music playlist was a great mix and the dance music was a great combination of classic and new hits to keep everyone in the crowd dancing. He also did a great job announcing our wedding party and guiding the order of events and getting the attention of our guests. Munya also recommended doing a photo dash and taking pictures with every guest table rapidly after the grand march and right before dinner and this is one of our favorite things that we did! It was so fun, totally set the tone for the night, and we are so thrilled we got a picture with every single one of our guests! Thank you DJ Munya and Gen Now DJs!

Dustin, aka DJ Dudley D is hands down the best DJ we could have asked for! 10000/10000 stars!

He is a master at mixing all sorts of songs and genres, keeps your dance floor PACKED, and when issues out of his control arise, he solves them without you knowing, keeping your day stress free! He was the easiest vendor to work with and top-tier at communication.

Our wedding venue's speakers broke and while the venue did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation (didn't have backup speakers, wouldn't send out emergency support, admitted their speakers were on their last leg... the list goes on) Dustin had a solid backup plan. He was professional and kept his cool. We didn't know about any of the issues he faced until after the wedding!

Dustin is worth more than he charges and you will not regret hiring him! He'll make custom first-dance and grand march songs for you, and is truly an artist at mixing songs. There's a reason Prince hired him as his DJ!

DJ Mad Mardigan recently DJ'd our wedding, and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the decision. Aside from his amazing talent, he was also extremely professional beginning with the planning process, through to the last song of the night. He set up multiple meetings to make sure that my husband and I got exactly what we wanted and he provided all of the equipment, making set-up seamless.

The absolute best part about the whole thing was Nick's ability to read the crowd and keep the energy all night long. Transitions between songs were flawless, and the dance floor was packed from start to finish. We didn't have a single lull- just a constant flow of a mix of old and new music that kept all of my guests excited.

After the wedding, both my husband and I received several texts from friends and family members saying how impressed they were with the music (a few sore from dancing LOL). Choosing GenerationNow DJs was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! On the day of the event, there was an error regarding the date and time of the event, made on our behalf (NOT made by GenerationNOW). We quickly emailed Tim of GenerationNOW Entertainment, and his response to the matter and confidence in providing a solution was in a matter of minutes! We were relieved and beyond grateful for their willingness to accommodate the special request and make an on-the-spot adjustment.

The highlight of the evening was when DJ Mickey seamlessly mixed in some golf-themed tracks and sound bites, adding a playful and personalized touch to the event. Talk about custom and creative flair!

All this to be said, DJ Mickey's performance was nothing short of spectacular. He managed to create a vibrant, engaging, and memorable atmosphere that elevated the entire evening for our Members.

GenerationNOW was a wonderful company to work with from start to finish! We had an initial call with Tim who helped us narrow down what package we would like and from there met with our DJ, Matt, who did a phenomenal job at incorporating a mix of music we loved from slow dances to lots of Taylor Swift for us Swifties to the club music after 9pm! We also added on the ceremony package which was great! Highly recommend GenerationNOW for your wedding reception :)

I can not express how amazing our wedding was because of GenNow. They were so professional from the beginning. Tim walked us through the options, met with us in person before the wedding, and the whole crew gave us the epic dance party we were hoping for. We used DJ Mad Mardigan for our DJ and we also used Daniel, a violinist through GenNow, for our ceremony music and it was absolutely beautiful. Daniel is extremely talented and he brought my exact vision of my ceremony to life.

Generation NOW was AWESOME! Everyone at our wedding kept telling us how great the DJ was and asking who they were. Even our photographer wanted their info so she could recommend them to others who are getting married. We had DJ Mad Mardigan (Nick) and he treated us like family, yet stayed professional. He made sure that everything we wanted for the reception got done the way we wanted, and that everyone had a great time dancing and celebrating. Their equipment was high quality, and they were great as getting people on the dance floor and keeping them there. There wasn't a minute of our wedding reception that wasn't fun and it's mostly thanks to Generation NOW and DJ Mad Mardigan!!! We highly recommend them for any event and they were worth every penny.
