Kim Nowell gets a well deserved 5 stars from us. I planned my Washington wedding from Chicago, and it was so easy to coordinate everything with Kim. She responded very quickly to all my questions via email or phone and answered everything thoroughly. Kim was very flexible about traveling to the location of our venue (which was far for her!), and she let us know that if we felt we needed to add more time to our photography on the day of, she was open to that. So flexible!

I was super worried about our set up and photography timeline on the day-of since we were doing a first look photo shoot, but as soon as Kim arrived, she was in charge of the photography timeline and everything went super smoothly without me having to think about it! I just got to sit back, look pretty, and have an amazing time! I love all the photos she gave us and she did a spectacular job editing over 1,000 of them for us. Kim Nowell comes HIGHLY recommended from us.

Kim was wonderful! She is professional and flexible. She kept a potentially stressful day, relaxed and fun. She was helpful and made the pre-ceremony (more staged) photos feel natural. She captured every beautiful moment of our day. For a girl who doesn't love getting her picture taken, I felt comfortable and beautiful from start to finish. When we received our photos, we were in awe. My husband and I felt like we had the chance to see the day from our guests perspective. Kim captured every beautiful detail from the centerpieces, to my flower girls playing in the sun. All of my friends and family are loving these images. After the wedding, my bridesmaids and mom said how much they enjoyed her. I feel like we couldn't have picked a better photographer for our wedding. Thanks Kim!

Kim was so fun and easy to work with. She made everyone in the wedding party feel comfortable and she made a point of meeting each person and learning their relationship to the bride and groom. Her photos are beyond beautiful. She has a real eye for capturing the perfect shot and making them look to natural. Her husband also walked around taking great shots from other angles and took awesome candid's of the bride and groom and all of the guests. The photos came a few weeks later looked absolutely stunning. Our family and guests could not stop raving about how kind and wonderful Kim and her husband are. We feel so lucky to have found Kim! 5 *stars*, 2 thumbs up, highly recommended, A++++. The photos came out BEAUTIFUL, which we were very nervous about due to our budget. Kim was very patient, kind, listened to what we wanted and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. My husband and I have since joked that through her lens Kim made our cheap (errr... affordable) little wedding venue look like a scene from a movie. We can't wait to use Kim again for our upcoming baby photos.

Kim & her husband traveled with us to our destination wedding in Jamaica! We couldn't have chosen a better team to accompany us & our wedding party! Both Kim & her husband were friendly & warm which made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. One of the things that really stood out for us is that we didn't have to tell Kim what photos needed taken or anything like that. She knew what needed to be done and took care of business! The photos she took for us turned out as beautiful as the ones on her website only they are of us. My wife was a bit worried about whether or not she'd get good photos of us (a real couple not models) and she came through. You can trust her to make you look as good as anyone else which was such a relief that we did choose the right photographer for us. One last note...she prints her own prints which are beautiful and not something you can get anywhere local.

Kim Nowell is so creative with her photos, she does amazing things with her editing, and she makes you feel so comfortable! I also did boudoir photos with her recently for my husband's Christmas gift and they were classy and sexy and made me feel so comfortable that I didn't even think about the fact that I wasn't clothed! I've seen other people's boudoir photos and there was honestly NO comparison!!! Kim blows the others out of the water with her talent and her pricing!! Thank you Kim!!
