How many photographers do you work with?
I am the only wedding photographer with my company. I may choose to bring a second shooter depending on the size of the wedding.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Absolutely. I am the only one that will be the main photographer.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I never schedule more than one wedding per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have several photographers that I work with and could use as a backup in case something happened. As of yet, I have never had to use a backup photographer. I am always available to shoot a wedding I committed to.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Canon 40D, Canon EOS Elan IIE, Canon digital back up camera, lights and stands for indoor group shots, reflector, apple laptop computer, additional flashes for low light settings, extra battery packs.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I have back up Canon cameras.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have options for both. I have packages with different amount of hours included and I offer an hourly rate as an alternative option.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I charge $150 per hour. My packages start at including 5 hours of coverage and range up to an unlimited full day. If a client is interested in a certain package but it does not include enough coverage, hours at the standard rate may be added.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I take one short break to eat while the bride and groom are eating. I do not require any other break times.
Do you charge for travel?
Typically I do not charge for travel, unless it is extraordinarily far from my location. All Akron/Cleveland and surrounding communities will not incur travel expenses.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Pictures are always available for online viewing within four weeks after the wedding date.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proofs (4x6s) are provided in a custom image box in addition to a private online digital gallery.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The couple keeps the 4x6 proofs in the custom image box. The private online gallery is available for up to 6 months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, I retain all copyrights for the photos. Two packages include CDs with images on them available only for enlargement purposes. Using the images for marketing or advertising purposes is strictly prohibited.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, I reserve the right to use the photographs to promote my business. I do not sell the images without asking for consent.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Two packages offer digital files. The couple may purchase the CD a la carte if they so choose.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, up to 6 months after the wedding.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Coffee table flush mount albums with the packages. Other type of albums are available upon request.
When will the client get the final album?
Each album I offer are hand crafted in Italy. It takes approximately 6 weeks production time for the creation of each custom digital album.
