Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, we do! We offer retouching, hand coloring, black & white and sepia tones.

Is your media preference film or digital?
We are currently using digital exclusively. We carry the latest in professional Nikon equipment.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No, we only book one wedding a day. We are available for weekend weddings.
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we do.
 
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
2 huge camera bags full of equipment!
 
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
YES....duplicates of everything!
 
Do you charge hourly or full day?
According to the client's needs and event.
 
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
We are usually available for overtime, should an event run long.
 
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Usually 1-2 short breaks throughout a 6 to 8 hour event.
 
Do you charge for travel?
Sometimes...if the event is more than 100 miles from our location.
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
If part of the package, generally within 2 weeks.
 
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We include a 'personal use' letter for our clients if they wish to print their photos themselves. The original copyright remains with us and images are not to be given away, sold or used commercially.
 
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, we do.
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes, we do.
 
Will images be available for viewing online?
If part of a package.
 
What kind of albums do you offer?
Several types...traditional or printed book.
 
When will the client get the final album?
Normally 2-3 weeks after the event.

Tips and Advice
Here are some FAQ's & Tips that'll help you find the right photographer for your particular needs.

Question #1: What do you consider your photography style to be? Photojournalistic pictures are popular.
Events are photographed as they happen with very little posing. Some people prefer their photos posed.


Bart & Ingrid's Answer: We believe in blending several different styles of photography to best suit our clients.
Although client preferences always come first!

Question #2: Do you shoot color, black and white, or both?

Bart & Ingrid's Answer: We shoot color digitally. With digital quality photos, it's easy to provide black and white,
sepia tones or other creative touches, when requested by the client.

Question #3: Do you bring an assistant or second photographer?

Bart & Ingrid's Answer: Even if your package price included only one photographer, in most cases you will have
both of us present to capture the best moments!


Question #4: Do you work well with videographers?

Bart & Ingrid's Answer: We are happy to work with a videographer and can recommend one if need be.

Question #5: Do you correct your photos? Find out if your photographer has the capability to take away minor flaws
and if they charge extra for the service.


Bart & Ingrid's Answer: Yes! While some requests can be time intensive, with our expertise and background
we can enhance most images. Additional charges will apply.


Question #6: Will the photographer give you a DVD or CD of your images? Some photographers will provide your
photos on a disc, so you can have copies printed whenever you wish. Others may require you to purchase your prints
directly from them.

Bart & Ingrid's Answer: You may use the images as you wish, for personal use (prints, albums, etc.). We retain
the copyrights to the images. The images can not be used for resale or profit. They can not be given or sold to
another photographer or web professional for commercial or promotional use.


Question #7: May we give you our input on the photos that we want? If you have specific photos and locations in mind,
make sure your photographer is accommodating.


Bart & Ingrid's Answer: We are easy to work with. The clients needs come first. Let us know what you envision.

Question #8: Are you the actual photographer who will be shooting on my wedding day?

Bart & Ingrid's Answer: Yes, we are the actual photographers that will be present at your event. If there should
be an unavoidable emergency, we will do our best to find a backup photographer that meets your expectations.


Question #9: Are you familiar with my ceremony/reception site? Would he be willing to visit my venue to learn about
the rules and look for the best photo spots?


Bart & Ingrid's Answer: We strive to visit your venue or location well ahead of time to gauge the best photo
opportunities.


Question #10: What comes in my photography package? Photographers charge many different ways. Some
have a complete package that includes their time, photos, albums, printed material, etc. Make sure you know what
you are getting.

Bart & Ingrid's Answer: All of our packages are customizable. If you prefer not to purchase a "package deal", we will
definitely tailor something to suit your needs!
