Yes
Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business?
A mix of both. Our studios are usually for films, and since editing is such a long process, we utilize a home office for most Post-Production to give your project personal attention.
Do you offer demo DVDs for potential clients to look at?
You can view some of our DVDs for free on our website.
What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer?
Everything depending on the wedding's budget. From unedited footage to fully professional productions with several cameras, videographers and steadicams.
Describe any special editing services you offer:
If we can edit motion pictures professionally, your wedding will certainly reflect our experience. We can add special effects along with BluRay production and online viewing before we ship your DVD.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event?
Yes, but usually do not like to use them because of intrusiveness. We only use them in very dark situations.
How many videographers do you work with?
We have 4 on staff.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event?
Of Course! We want to meet you too!
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
We wouldn't be much of a production company if not.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Never. Things get too hectic. Occasionally the same Weekend.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day?
Always. We get sick sometimes too.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Everything and anything we can think of in addition to our standard list. You never know when that extra piece of equipment will come in handy.
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Definitely, even newer equipment can fail or give problems.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We usually don't get many. We do require a 30 minute break at the reception with a vendors meal. That's it! Just to keep us energized throughout the event. This is usually standard with receptions and the venues are well aware of the vendor meals.
Do you charge overtime?
No need. Our services are a onetime fee.
Do you give access to your raw footage?
Yes, for an additional fee.
Do you reserve the right to use the video in the future for deals, contents, etc.?
Yes unless agreed otherwise.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing?
Absolutely. We post each video online for review before creating your DVDs.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video?
Guaranteed 90 business days or less.
Do you require a minimum number of hours to book?
No. We offer an hourly rate for events that want to book shorter time periods.

Additional Answers & Advice:
Do you come to the rehearsals? Usually as long as it is somewhat local. What kind of music do you use? We use laptops to professionally record the actual music being played during your dances and events. Relying on camera microphones and tapes is not enough for us. Perfection can only be achieved by recording the music through a direct wire, not a microphone. Why is editing included in the video costs? Why not just record onto a DVD? Editing adds appeal and interest to your wedding video that raw footage cannot capture. To put it in relation with motion pictures, if movies were not edited, usually no one would want to watch them. Besides, with multiple cameras, editing is always essential. Similar to the boring home video cliché, no one wants to fast forward through a video and just watch the good parts. We take each camera’s best scenes and make an enjoyable and emotional documentary of your event. Know your videographer very well and make sure to get everything in writing. |
