Lovebud Productions is a Southern California wedding videography and photography studio dedicated to capturing love stories with cinematic flair and heartfelt authenticity. Serving couples from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, and San Diego, they create films that feel both timeless and stylish—stories that don’t just document your wedding day, but let you experience it all over again.

Our Story
Founded by two childhood friends with a shared love of documentaries and music videos, Lovebud Productions has been telling wedding stories since 2014. Their work blends the raw emotion of documentary filmmaking with the polish of cinematic visuals, weaving together every detail—from the quiet, intimate glances to the epic, once-in-a-lifetime moments—into a film that feels uniquely yours.

Amazing Wedding Videographer!

We hired Lovebud Productions as our wedding videographer, and Malcolm and Ben captured our day beautifully. They were so easy to coordinate with and offered the perfect package for what we wanted — full recordings of our ceremony and speeches, plus a stunningly edited highlight film set to a song of our choice, complete with audio from our vows and toasts. Their eye for artistic shots and storytelling really shines through in the final videos, which we’ll treasure forever. They even provided everything on a USB drive for us to keep, which was such a nice touch. We loved working with them and are so grateful for how perfectly they preserved our memories.

The Most Amazing Highlight Reel Ever

I cannot speak highly enough about Malcom and Benjamin's work! My husband and I came very close to skipping a videographer altogether for our wedding and I am so glad we didn't. The investment is worth every penny. I have watched my highlight video a ridiculous amount of times and it brings me so much joy. They captured every special moment, selected perfect sound bites from the vows, and edited so seamlessly that someone watching the video truly feels like they were there. We selected the package that included an edited highlight reel and footage of the ceremony, toasts, and dance. I would recommend upgrading to the package where those elements are edited, too - we ended up upgrading ourselves. They were also very accommodating to edits/changes I wanted to make. I continue to receive compliments from family and friends who say it's one of the best highlight videos they have seen. Can't recommend Lovebud more!

Hire Lovebud! You wont regret it!

Lovebud did a beyond outstanding job on our highlight wedding video and archive wedding video. They captured the whole day so perfectly that I still cry every time i watch the videos! That's how good they are!! Malcolm was very nice and responsive when emailing and has very great talent at editing videos. Ben was our videographer the day of the wedding and he was such a joy to work with! Everyone kept saying how nice he was and he definitely knows how to capture the best angles and best footage. Highly recommend Lovebud! You will not be disappointed just hire them and thank me later :)

October 2020 Wedding

Malcolm and Ben covered our ceremony and brunch wonderfully. They were attentive and professional. They consulted with us to ensure we'd have a high quality live stream and delivered a beautiful video production in addition to the photos. The video is our favorite because it includes our ceremony plus highlights from the brunch and features music from our personally curated wedding playlist. Our event staff commented on how easy it was to work with them and our virtual guest complimented us on the quality of our live stream as compared to other online weddings they'd attended. This pair is great!

AMAZING Photographer/Videographer!

I HIGHLY recommend Malcolm and everyone at Lovebud Productions. He took the time to get to know my husband and I, worked with our schedule, was friendly and professional. Our pictures turned out AMAZING!! Far better than I ever could've hoped. He is a true artist who does everything he can to capture the beauty of the space and the moment. I would use again in a heartbeat!

Highly recommend Lovebud!

We loved our experience working with Lovebud! We are so happy with our highlight video - it was so impressive and beyond our expectations. We can't stop watching it! The quality is awesome and it's not at all awkward like some other wedding videos we've seen. We are so happy we decided to go with Lovebud and that we have every moment of the day captured. Ben and his assistant were both very easy to be around and made the day feel relaxed.

Do it! Malcolm is the BEST! He was such a dream to work with, in every way. I cannot imagine the video or working with him being any better, seriously! Malcolm was like a ninja during the wedding - I dont know how he does it!! He captured so, so much! So many sweet moments, and everyone told me how comfortable they felt with him. I would hire him again in a second! Such a gem!

If you are deciding on a videographer for your wedding, look no further!!! I cannot speak highly enough of Malcolm, not only is he professional and super talented, but truly the nicest guy you'd want to work with for your special day. The footage he shot, and edited, into the most AMAZING wedding video I have ever seen, was above and beyond my expectation for what he charges. Initially, I was on the fence about having a wedding video done, but now I am so happy I did! By far the best money I'd spent on our wedding. We now have a little treasure from that day that we get to share with our kids.

My wife and I had the privilege of booking Malcolm ahead of time so we had time to go over what we wanted him to film for us on our big day. This man did not disappoint! He was available to us, communicated well, on time, and highly professional. What I really loved about working with Malcolm is his open minded attitude. He seemed genuinely intrigued to be working our traditional Chinese wedding and was all smiles and energy from morning 'til night. Not once did I see a frown on his face. He was fully prepared throughout the day with equipment from outer space. The video that he cut for us was filled with style and grace. We highly recommend him and know that in the end his work will put a smile on your... mug. Also we opted to purchase the raw video footage for a reasonable amount so we can revisit it again and again! Thank you Lovebud Priductions!
