Jenny was hands down the best photographer for our wedding! She flew in from Washington to come to our wedding and was so easy to work with. She was communicative and accommodating! We loved working with her. She was patient and had a fantastic creative vision! It made our lives easy and we got phenomenal pictures. Thank you, Jenny!

Jenny did such an amazing job of capturing our perfect day! She was so easy to work with and made everything so laid back. The quality of the pictures are breathtaking and on top of everything, Jenny created the perfect slideshow so we can show our friends and family at our reception back home.

We had the pleasure of working with Jenny for our wedding pictures and family pictures at our destination wedding in Hawaii. She is amazing!!!! If I could give her 10 stars I would. She’s so friendly and made our family feel comfortable and even when it was really windy she got the most perfect shots. Jenny is the absolute best! She captured my fiance and I's engagement photos and I could not be more in love with them! We were worried the entire thing would be awkward, but Jenny is so fun and calming, she made the whole thing a breeze. She helped us decide on a wonderful spot and walked me through which part of my wardrobe would be best for which area. We're new to Washington and our entire family back home in Texas was jealous of the beautiful scenery after seeing our photos. I have gotten so many compliments on them and we used them for our save the dates. She gave a sneak peek right after our shoot and the entire album was sent to us before we even knew it. Photography was one of the most important wedding details to me, but my husband hates having his photo taken. So, I was on a quest to find a photographer who not only took incredible photos filled with emotion, but also that my husband was comfortable with. Jenny met with us several times before our wedding to genuinely get to know us. She homed in on what was important to us and what made us unique as a couple. My husband was never uncomfortable around her and they became fast friends.

Sometimes having a photographer in your face all day long can seem forced and awkward, but not with Jenny. She fit right into our crowd and felt like another family friend in the room. She was responsive and flexible to our needs, we got our photos so quick compared to all my other friends who’ve been married, and we so cherish the images she captured. Jenny is the best and I highly recommend her!

Jenny is AMAZING! We had her photograph an engagement session as well as our wedding and I couldn’t be happier with how the photographs turned out. She is very organized and personable, you can tell she really cares about capturing your personality and exceeding expectations. She made plenty of time to meet with us throughout the process and to make sure she knew what we wanted and also suggested poses and backdrops we would never have thought of that ended up being some of our favorite photos. On the day of our wedding, she was able to wrangle our large wedding party (13 attendants and two small children) as well as both families efficiently and effectively. We got all of the photos we wanted and many more without stress or sacrificing time with our guests to do so. The photos themselves are absolutely stunning and everything you could ever want from a professional photographer. Jenny makes quick work of editing so you don’t have to wait long for your gallery and the printer she uses is also very reasonably priced and produces a high quality product. I’ve had portraits done before where you have to spend a small fortune to get only one or two shots printed, but this is definitely not the case with J. Hodges. Jenny captured so much love and excitement, we will truly cherish her work for the rest of our lives!

Jenny was AHHHHMAZING. From the moment we booked her she was beyond professional but also fun and creative! She went above and beyond leading up to our wedding and even on our wedding day we had people coming up to us saying how amazing and personable she is! Our wedding was in Lake Forest, IL on 9/2/17 and she absolutely nailed it. Her eye for detail when we walked the property and her spontaneity during wedding photos was so awesome! She stuck to our time schedule and truly was one the most dependable wedding vendors we used! I have friends that aren't even engaged yet saying they want to use her for their wedding!
