Using Hanna & Co. as our wedding photographers was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. Jessica and Chris were extraordinarily professional, timely, and talented. They were incredibly easy to work with - never a question of being on time, whether on the big day or with photos (which were ready within days of returning from our honeymoon...unbelievable!). We had a few special needs with our wedding location, which they handled perfectly. They have excellent communication and professionally-prepared contracts that they got to us with zero hassle or need to follow up. Jessica--who did the coordination before the wedding-- is nice and friendly; exactly who you want around on the day of your wedding and time leading up to it.

At the rehearsal and day of the wedding, Hanna & Co. did their job beautifully. They did what was necessary to get great shots, but not with the obnoxious in-the-way behavior that gives some wedding photographers a bad name. They were low key, easy to be around, and worked well with other vendors, the planners, and the guests. Jessica and Chris also went far above and beyond by helping out when other vendors dropped the ball a bit -- Jessica was amazing at helping me tactfully communicate how I'd like my updo to be changed, bustled my dress between photos and the reception, and Chris encouraged a more elaborate handoff between my dad and husband that made the "giving away" moment much more special. They were unobtrusive but committed to helping our wedding come off the way we dreamed.

The photos are gorgeous. I spent a ton of time researching various photographers before calling Hanna & Co. so I knew the photos would be nice. But, still, I was surprised at how lovely the photos were. We got every shot we wanted - great family photos, bridal party photos, bride and groom photos, ceremony photos, and reception photos. The variety and quality of the photos are fabulous. They really captured the theme and feel of the event.

Although the price initially seemed to be slightly more than other Redding/Chico photographers, it actually is a great deal. Not only are you pretty much certain to get beautiful shots, you also get a wedding video. I cannot emphasize what a big deal this wedding video is. I hated the idea of having 15 hours of film of our wedding or an "edited" one hour version that we would feel guilty for not watching. But, I did want something to capture the special moments of film to watch on anniversaries or share with older relatives who couldn't make it. Hanna & Co.'s video is PERFECT for this. It is set to music, a mix of photos and video and it is WONDERFUL. The video is my favorite part. They captured all of the big moments in under ten minutes, set it to music, and gave life to the day. It is a tear jerker and I love it so much. It also saved us the cost for videography that would just provide way more footage than we'd want / need. So, even though the price is slightly higher relative to some Redding area photographers, it is well worth it because of the quality and the cost saved on videography. Friends and family encouraged me to make photography a priority and I am so, so glad we did.

In sum, I am absolutely thrilled with Hanna & Co. I would recommend them without reservation and really encourage anyone to check out their beautiful, one-of-a-kind-work. They provide exceptional quality photographs and will likely be your easiest vendor to work with.
