My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Makayla and could not be happier with the results. Makayla has a beautiful eye for photography and light. Makayla captured both our wedding and our engagement photos. She was professional, quick to respond and willing to try different types of styles in our engagement photos so we could choose a style we wanted for our wedding. I would and have recommended Makayla to friends and family. Wedding planning can be expensive but I think Makayla is worth every penny especially if you are doing a destination wedding.

Overall I think what sets Makayla apart from other photographers was her complete respect for what we wanted as a couple, both for privacy in what we wanted featured on her accounts, and also how we wanted photography to be incorporated into our wedding day (giving us the space during vows and not always feeling like it was a photo shoot). She was also honest throughout the process in what she could and couldn't do regarding lighting and weather and was one of the few photographers that we talked to that had clear price points on her website that you can find without asking! If you are on the fence with other photographers I recommend choosing Makayla. We are so happy with our photos and that we hired her.
