Oh wow, where to begin! My wife and I were absolutely blown away by not just the physical venue at Granite Bay, which was stunning, but even more so by the care and attention taken by Kelle and her entire team, both throughout the planning process and on our actual wedding day.

Kelle was with us every step of the way, and made all of the stressful details feel like a breeze. Her meticulous attention to detail put us at ease, and we felt comfortable trusting her with the logistics the day of. We couldn’t imagine our wedding day without her. As she was handling all of the behind the scenes details, my bride and I were able to enjoy our day without any stress, and we really believe she contributed to such a wonderful wedding, not just for us, but for our guests as well.

The entire Granite Bay team was phenomenal, from the wait staff to the catering, everything was immaculate. We have to shout out the food, as it was beyond delicious, and really blew us away. One of the best parts was getting to take post-ceremony photos out on the grounds, which made it look like we were in some kind of charmed woodlands. It was just stunning, and we honestly could not recommended Granite Bay enough!

We recently got married at the Granite Bay Golf Club in April, and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about our experience.

The venue is stunning, but the people are what make it special. From our very first tour, Kelle made us feel like we were in good hands. Wedding planning can be stressful, but she has a way of making you feel like everything is under control. Natalie was incredible and made sure we were able to actually enjoy the day while she handled all the details behind the scenes. Chapman was the banquet captain for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding, and he was an absolute rockstar and was so kind to my family. Together with the rest of the staff, they handled everything so seamlessly that I truly didn't have to worry about a thing. For the first time in months, I got to stop thinking about timelines and logistics and just enjoy being the bride.

Another perk was the food was AMAZING. We had a hard time choosing our menu because everything we tasted was so good. We've all been to weddings where the food is average at best, but GBGC is on a completely different level. One of the most heard comments from guests afterward was how incredible the food was.

What really sets them apart is that they don't do cookie-cutter weddings. They take the time to learn what matters to you and then build those moments into your day. When I mentioned that I wanted a little time alone with my husband before getting pulled in a hundred different directions, it was their idea to take us out onto the golf course with boxes of appetizers. We got to sit together, soak it all in, and enjoy a few quiet moments as newlyweds before jumping back into the celebration. It ended up being my favorite moment of the entire day (and one of my favorite photos)! It was such a thoughtful touch and perfectly captures what makes Granite Bay Golf Club so special.

At the end of the night, we did an Irish exit. As Natalie was taking us to our car, we turned the corner and found the whole team lined up cheering, congratulating us, and handing us one last drink to celebrate. It was such a thoughtful surprise and the perfect ending to an incredible day.

We loved our experience so much that we joined the club after the wedding. I couldn't recommend Granite Bay Golf Club more!

I could not have asked for a better venue, wedding coordinator and staff. There is so much I can say. To sum it all up, everything from the start was amazing. Kelle is an absolute professional and does her job extremely well. Everything from setting the date, to food tasting and the actual event was great! There are multiple "packages" to choose from. The food was amazing and her attention to detail was incredible. She made us feel heard and understood throughout the whole process. The staff was great too, they were very attentive and professional. I was super happy with how everything was set up for the ceremony and reception, it looked beautiful. I used some of their recommendations for vendors such as the florist, photographer and DJ. I could not have been more satisfied with their services provided. From the arrival of the venue to the end of the night, everything went very smoothly. They are so good at their job that they dealt with a problem, which I had no idea was even happening. I was able to enjoy every bit of the day/night because Kelle and the staff were absolutely amazing! If I could do it all over again, I would. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue and the way they operate their events. If you want someone to do all of the work for you, this is the perfect venue and group of people to get it done!

We had such a wonderful experience having our wedding here! Kelle was amazing to work with- so organized, experienced, and knowledgeable about weddings. She thought of things we didn’t even realize we should plan for and added so many thoughtful touches that made the day special. Thanks to her, planning was so much easier, and we didn’t even need to hire a wedding planner!

She also suggested taking photos on the 18th hole at sunset, and it was absolutely beautiful- we got some stunning shots! The venue itself was spacious and fit our 190 guests comfortably with an open, inviting layout. The staff did a beautiful job setting up our décor and tying bows on the ceremony chairs- every detail was perfect.

Everything went smoothly and stress-free, allowing us to truly enjoy our day. We’re so thankful and would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding!

About a month has passed since we celebrated our wedding at Granite Bay GC, and in retrospect, I don't think we could've made a better decision in choosing our venue and our event manager -- Kelle Collier. I will preface this review of Kelle by underscoring the fact that she wants your "BIG DAY" to be even more perfect than you want it. And with that said, her passion and precision is on full display from the minute you're sitting down for a consultation; to the moment of reprieve when you realize that your event was a huge success. Kelle's fingerprints are all over it, so just make sure that you pair up Kelle's management skills with a coordinator of equal caliber. Now, enough about Kelle and let's start talking about Granite Bay GC.

This golf club is gorgeous! From the beautiful 18 hole golf course -- to the small lake and the wooden bridge that curves alongside the landscape; the view from here is absolutely stunning. Your photographer will be in heaven. I promise you! They have a lovely outdoor garden area that's designated for your ceremonial vows, and an indoor banquet hall that lights up with class and elegance once it's fully decorated. I haven't even gotten to the food yet. Whoever GBGC hired as their lead Chef is doing a phenomenal job. I applaud you Mr. Chef of GBGC. As a foodie and a native to Los Angeles, the food in Sacramento is truly lackluster to say the least. I know... I know, what about The Kitchen and Mulvaney's, and Morton's and Ruth's Chris, and blah blah blah. Yes, those are about as good as it gets and I still have all fingers fisted in one of my hands. They serve their food buffet style, so all of your guests will attend your event and go home satisfied. That's my word! If we can only spread the food quality at GBGC to the rest of the Sacramento Valley! And if we can only clone Kelle Collier like Tesla's Opimus to ensure that everyone in the greater Sacramento region will always have their big day end in fireworks. Wouldn't that be a dream? Well, at least for those of us choosing GBGC as our venue of choice, that dream is already our reality. Thank you GBGC for making our night special.

Kelle Collier was a wonderful wedding planner who made sure that everything was planned out and taken care of. She made our day stress free and gave us confidence that everything would be handled perfectly. Her team stepped up and delivered high quality service to all of our guests.

Our wedding planning started with an event sponsered by Kelle early in the year at Granite Bay where all of the vendors we needed were front an center for us to meet and talk to. We booked several that night which made the rest of the planning very easy.

Kelle folded those vendors into our plans and made sure that everything went smoothly. We had both face to face and phone call meetings along the way where we made specific decisions about each phase of the event.

The Granite Bay food was outstanding and it started with a tasting event where we had to make the tough decisions on which wonderful foods we wanted for our event. We settled on chicken piccata and steak as the main courses and all the attendees battled on deciding which was better! Both were amazing as was all the other parts of the meal.

The venue was outstanding and about two weeks from our wedding we decided to move the ceremony inside in order to 'beat the heat'. This took alot of worry off our plate as the highs kept peaking near 115F. The ceremony was held in the Colt room and it was draped and setup perfectly. This is a good example of adapting to the situation smoothly and professionally.

The ceremony itself was wonderful with the DJ crew stepping up to mic everyone correctly and get the music level perfectly set. We played "Jack and Dianne' by John Mellenkamp as our wedding song and it was a wonderful choice.

The appetizers and finder food portion was very special with our favorite choices gobbled up by our friends and family. We also used this period to get a series of pictures of different groups of friends and family. Kelle organized all of this and it went smoothly. We also took the whole family outside to the ninth green (yes it was hot) for a series of pictures, It all went smoothly.

Dinner was served family style which worked out perfectly It allowed everyone to choose what went on their plate. The kids got special meals and so did several others with special dietary requirements. This was all handled well.

The DJ took over after dinner and the rest of the evening was spent visiting with friends and dancing on the floor. The venue also allowed several groups to move outside for private conversations and some people stayed late into the evening on the balcony having a very special time together.

The end of the evening went smoothly and we headed home on our golf cart with plastic glasses rattling behind us as noisemakers.

It was a special day and Granite Bay delivered in each part of the evening.

I recently had my wedding here and I could not recommend Granite Bay Golf Club and working with Kelle enough!!! I visited venues within the area and once my mom and I met Kelle, we knew we wanted my wedding here. She goes above and beyond to make your wedding day so special! We were in contact for about a year and a half and I already (kinda) miss the planning with her ;) Our meal testing was phenomenal, we were so excited for our guests to have their food. The bar packages are decently priced (especially if you have a crowd like ours). The venue and grounds itself are so beautiful! Kelle took the photographers and videographers on a golf cart for sunset photos and this was such a special part of our day, we still talk about. It was the best day and one we will always thank Granite Bay Golf Club and Kelle for being such a big part of! Thank you!!

My wedding on June 8, 2024 was an absolute dream thanks to the spectacular grounds of Granite Bay Golf Club but also the event staff, in particular, Kelle Collier, the venue coordinator. Kelle treats you like you are the number one priority, and from the moment we decided to have our wedding reception at the club, we felt like Kelle was there for us every step of the way. She is enthusiastic and clearly loves what she does, responsive, detail-oriented, and a flawless executor. Everything she told us about how the day would go absolutely came to fruition. When comparing this venue to others, we really felt like this place treated us like we were a priority and that our special day was important to them. I highly recommend this place as your wedding venue for many reasons, including: fantastic event staff, beautiful grounds, incredible food and drinks, and excellent service. Thank you to GBGC for helping us to create the perfect wedding day!

A little back story.. our original venue told us to kick rocks even though we were under contract. Not to worry though, here came Kelle and GBGC to our rescue! Quite honestly, it felt like fate that it happened his way. I loved everything about Granite Bay Golf Club more so than the other venue we had chosen, especially Kelle! Kelle was on top of it since day 1, reassuring us that everything would be okay! She was professional, courteous, detailed (which my fiancé loved), and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Our day of the wedding was everything we had dreamed of and more, best day of our lives without a doubt. And we couldn’t have done it without Kelle and the team at Granite Bay Golf Club! So if you are looking for a wedding venue, stop looking and book them today!!!

Wow wow wow we cannot recommend Granite Bay Golf Club and Kelle highly enough. It was a perfect location to have for our special day. From the initial tour, food tasting, detail appointment to the day of, Kelle was by our side in it all. She made things as smooth and stress-free as possible. Having food & beverage, linens, tables and much more included it made our planning a bit less stressful. They have preferred vendors but not all are required. Overall, we experienced great communication, professionalism, friendliness, and amazing talent working with Kelle. My husband and I are still getting compliments on everything about our wedding and I owe it all to Kelle and the club! If you are considering GBGC, take the tour and you will be amazed!
