We recently got married at the Granite Bay Golf Club in April, and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about our experience.
The venue is stunning, but the people are what make it special. From our very first tour, Kelle made us feel like we were in good hands. Wedding planning can be stressful, but she has a way of making you feel like everything is under control. Natalie was incredible and made sure we were able to actually enjoy the day while she handled all the details behind the scenes. Chapman was the banquet captain for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding, and he was an absolute rockstar and was so kind to my family. Together with the rest of the staff, they handled everything so seamlessly that I truly didn't have to worry about a thing. For the first time in months, I got to stop thinking about timelines and logistics and just enjoy being the bride.
Another perk was the food was AMAZING. We had a hard time choosing our menu because everything we tasted was so good. We've all been to weddings where the food is average at best, but GBGC is on a completely different level. One of the most heard comments from guests afterward was how incredible the food was.
What really sets them apart is that they don't do cookie-cutter weddings. They take the time to learn what matters to you and then build those moments into your day. When I mentioned that I wanted a little time alone with my husband before getting pulled in a hundred different directions, it was their idea to take us out onto the golf course with boxes of appetizers. We got to sit together, soak it all in, and enjoy a few quiet moments as newlyweds before jumping back into the celebration. It ended up being my favorite moment of the entire day (and one of my favorite photos)! It was such a thoughtful touch and perfectly captures what makes Granite Bay Golf Club so special.
At the end of the night, we did an Irish exit. As Natalie was taking us to our car, we turned the corner and found the whole team lined up cheering, congratulating us, and handing us one last drink to celebrate. It was such a thoughtful surprise and the perfect ending to an incredible day.
We loved our experience so much that we joined the club after the wedding. I couldn't recommend Granite Bay Golf Club more! -

I could not have asked for a better venue, wedding coordinator and staff. There is so much I can say. To sum it all up, everything from the start was amazing. Kelle is an absolute professional and does her job extremely well. Everything from setting the date, to food tasting and the actual event was great! There are multiple "packages" to choose from. The food was amazing and her attention to detail was incredible. She made us feel heard and understood throughout the whole process. The staff was great too, they were very attentive and professional. I was super happy with how everything was set up for the ceremony and reception, it looked beautiful. I used some of their recommendations for vendors such as the florist, photographer and DJ. I could not have been more satisfied with their services provided. From the arrival of the venue to the end of the night, everything went very smoothly. They are so good at their job that they dealt with a problem, which I had no idea was even happening. I was able to enjoy every bit of the day/night because Kelle and the staff were absolutely amazing! If I could do it all over again, I would. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue and the way they operate their events. If you want someone to do all of the work for you, this is the perfect venue and group of people to get it done! -

About a month has passed since we celebrated our wedding at Granite Bay GC, and in retrospect, I don't think we could've made a better decision in choosing our venue and our event manager -- Kelle Collier. I will preface this review of Kelle by underscoring the fact that she wants your "BIG DAY" to be even more perfect than you want it. And with that said, her passion and precision is on full display from the minute you're sitting down for a consultation; to the moment of reprieve when you realize that your event was a huge success. Kelle's fingerprints are all over it, so just make sure that you pair up Kelle's management skills with a coordinator of equal caliber. Now, enough about Kelle and let's start talking about Granite Bay GC.
This golf club is gorgeous! From the beautiful 18 hole golf course -- to the small lake and the wooden bridge that curves alongside the landscape; the view from here is absolutely stunning. Your photographer will be in heaven. I promise you! They have a lovely outdoor garden area that's designated for your ceremonial vows, and an indoor banquet hall that lights up with class and elegance once it's fully decorated. I haven't even gotten to the food yet. Whoever GBGC hired as their lead Chef is doing a phenomenal job. I applaud you Mr. Chef of GBGC. As a foodie and a native to Los Angeles, the food in Sacramento is truly lackluster to say the least. I know... I know, what about The Kitchen and Mulvaney's, and Morton's and Ruth's Chris, and blah blah blah. Yes, those are about as good as it gets and I still have all fingers fisted in one of my hands. They serve their food buffet style, so all of your guests will attend your event and go home satisfied. That's my word! If we can only spread the food quality at GBGC to the rest of the Sacramento Valley! And if we can only clone Kelle Collier like Tesla's Opimus to ensure that everyone in the greater Sacramento region will always have their big day end in fireworks. Wouldn't that be a dream? Well, at least for those of us choosing GBGC as our venue of choice, that dream is already our reality. Thank you GBGC for making our night special. -

I recently had my wedding here and I could not recommend Granite Bay Golf Club and working with Kelle enough!!! I visited venues within the area and once my mom and I met Kelle, we knew we wanted my wedding here. She goes above and beyond to make your wedding day so special! We were in contact for about a year and a half and I already (kinda) miss the planning with her ;) Our meal testing was phenomenal, we were so excited for our guests to have their food. The bar packages are decently priced (especially if you have a crowd like ours). The venue and grounds itself are so beautiful! Kelle took the photographers and videographers on a golf cart for sunset photos and this was such a special part of our day, we still talk about. It was the best day and one we will always thank Granite Bay Golf Club and Kelle for being such a big part of! Thank you!! -

We had our wedding at Granite Bay Golf Club on 10/21/23 and Kelle was absolutely amazing! We had a few hiccups from our photographer on wedding day, but Kelle made sure it got right back on track. She truly takes care of you and goes above and beyond what is asked of her. The food was amazing, the staff was outstanding, and the venue is GORGEOUS! Best experience!
Just had my wedding about 2 weeks ago and had the pleasure of working with Kelle, the event coordinator and the team. Kelle was always available for questions and put our interest and vision first but also provide us with her input and advice along the way.
Honestly on the day of our wedding, I was able to just enjoy the moments and have fun because Kelle kept everything on time, made sure it goes smoothly and worked very well with our vendors.
Their food menu had lots of options. I got so many compliments on the main course (salmon & Filet Mignon) and the hors d’oeuvres they were serving!!
Our picture will turn out great, since there are lot of photo zones in the golf course. I was so happy to have Granite Bay Golf Course as our venue and would definitely recommend ❤️ Thank you Kelle and the GBGC team for making the day so special!! -

Granite Bay Golf Club is the way to go!
The Granite Bay team is amazing & Kelle is a rockstar!! Right off the bat meeting Kelle & seeing the venue in person - we just knew. It was the perfect spot for our intimate wedding, but it's great for large weddings too! & when it comes to wedding planning, I have absolutely zero complaints! Kelle handled literally everything, she answered all our questions, kept in contact w/ our vendors, & made sure our special day went as smoothly as possible. We even had our rehearsal dinner here as well, which also went smoothly. & I love the fact that they will accommodate all of yours & your guests need! It was such a beautiful experience, my husband & I are very happy w/ our decision & if we could do it all over again w/ Granite Bay Golf Club, we would :) -

We ended up finding this venue after our original venue shutdown permanently and, honestly, I am SO happy that it worked out the way it did. The venue is beautiful, the food is divine, the staff there is so nice, etc., but the best part of all was Kelle! She truly made my life easier. She is the venue's event planner and she really helped our day run more smoothly. I cannot recommend this venue enough -- it will save you so much stress if you do!! -

My husband & I couldn't have been happier with getting married at Granite Bay Golf Club. From the moment you drive into the club, this venue is stunning! We had a Indian Fusion wedding and felt absolutely comfortable once I knew how much experience Kelle had with Indian weddings. That was one of my concerns going in. I had done some research and we had visited other sites but we didn't get the same feel from the others as we did with this venue. The moment I met Kelle, we connected right from the start & that was a huge factor for us when choosing our venue. We both wanted someone who we felt would genuinely be there for us from beginning to end. Talking to Kelle was like talking to that one friend you haven’t spoken to in awhile but when you did, the conversation started right back where you left off. The restaurant staff were also so sweet whenever we would come out for our meetings. Very hospitable & kind. It made us feel comfortable & appreciated anytime we were on site visiting.
Kelle made our planning process seem pretty seamless & her honesty throughout the journey was refreshing. She has ample amount of experience & knowledge in this industry & it shows in her work. I had a vision for my wedding and I wasn't budging. I added & changed things throughout the process but Kelle remained positive & didn't show any frustrations or negativity no matter what challenge came our way. Whenever I'd reach out with concerns, I'd get detailed responses. She promised to make our day so special & she stuck to her promise.
Unfortunately, two days before our Wedding day, we were informed Kelle was unable to be at our Wedding due to Covid. Although we were understandable & felt terrible for her, I was heartbroken. It was like being told that your best friend wasn’t coming to your wedding. We were told Ryan would be taking her place & there was nothing to worry about. Of course we were still a little stressed because it was our big day and we hadn't met Ryan. When we did have a meeting with him, all our worries & concerns were out the door. He was the sweetest & was basically the guy version of Kelle. He was prepared & knew all he needed to know about our Wedding. Funny thing is, Ryan looks like Lance Bass & we were not the only ones that noticed. Just don’t mention that part to him if you have the pleasure of meeting him haha. We found out later that our Wedding day was also Ryan’s 10 year wedding anniversary. Of course we felt bad he had to be away from his wife on their anniversary but it really showed his dedication & commitment. We asked him to have at least one drink with us that night to celebrate.
There were a few tweaks from our wedding that could have been changed. But our wedding day was the best day ever. Especially with the last minute changes of our coordinator. Ryan & his staff were very attentive the day of & he always made sure there was a drink in all our hands. What more could you ask for? Our wedding party also enjoyed their time spent with him.
We are so thankful for Ryan, Kelle, & their staff on doing such an amazing job with all their hard work. We had the pleasure of working with great vendors. Everyday I wish I could live this day & we cannot stop talking it. We are extremely happy that we got married here & couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. We continue to receive many compliments about our Wedding/Venue, which makes my husband & I feel even better about our choice of getting married here.

Kelle, Ryan, and the whole team at Granite Bay could not have been better to work with. Due to a Covid caused postponement, we spent over 2 ½ years planning our wedding. The team at Granite Bay Golf Club made every minute of the experience a pleasure. Kelle was the most knowledgeable, genuine, and selfless coordinator we met, and a big reason why we chose Granite Bay. The skills she showed while planning our wedding can only be gained with years of experience; it showed every step of the way. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and entire reception were planned and timed perfectly. The seamless transitions throughout our night kept our guests happy, well fed, and with a drink in hand from start to finish. We have received nothing but rave reviews for the entire evening, but especially for the food we served. We still have friends and family talking about how good the meal was. If you are debating between multiple venues, or on the fence about Granite Bay, we can’t recommend them enough. If we had to go through the Covid wedding process again, they are the only team we would want to work with. The entire staff made us feel so special from the day we booked with them. Kelle and the team at Granite Bay Golf Club were impressive from the start. She is highly organized and thought of every detail. The venue is beautiful and the staff executed everything perfectly for our wedding ceremony and reception. The venue offers personalized details like adding late night street tacos and a s’mores bar for your guests. We and our guests had so much fun!
As a bride I loved having the bridal room for the whole day to relax, get ready with my ladies, and not have to get ready at a different location. It was fun having snacks and mimosas refreshed for us throughout the day.
The menu options for the reception were plentiful and delicious. It’s so nice not having to rent tablecloths, napkins, etc from another vendor.
Granite Bay Golf Club exceeded every expectation! We received so many compliments from our guests saying how much they loved everything. That was music to ours ears because my husband and I certainly had a blast!

Awesome and most professional venue
THANK GOODNESS FOR GRANITE BAY GOLF CLUB EVENT COORDINATOR KELLE!!! She saved our wedding. When we got bad news, one month out from our wedding, that our venue was cancelling ours wedding, I made some phone call's and got ahold of Kelle. She took me and my wife (now) under her wing, and saved our wedding. She was really flexible with everything! What was shocking, she was able to transfer all our vendors from the other venue to hers, because she knew everyone. She is like the E-40 of event coordinator's. She was there from the start, and she was there from the day of the wedding. She kept everything on time, like a wedding planner would do. Her staff was AMAZING too! They were on top of helping out the guest, and cleaning. If there was a mess on the dance floor, they would block the area off till it's cleaned up. Also they were really good with keeping up with the Covid standards too! Me and my Wife overall was so happy of the outcome. We thought it was a blessing to have one venue cancel us, and this one to pick us up. We have so much good things to say about this place. But overall, Kelle is an honest and great person, and will give her 2¢ if she need to. This review is why I giver this place 5 out of 5 rating. -

A Perfect Pandemic Wedding
This venue made my wedding dreams come true. Long story short, but because of COVID-19 we had less than 2 weeks to prepare for a wedding here and our big day was better than anything I would have hoped for. I could not be more impressed by the professionalism and diligence of the staff and just how beautiful this venue and the surrounding area are. Could not recommend this place more! -

My wedding was at the Granite bay golf club and I can't stress enough how amazing it was! Kendall and Kelle made me feel like a priority and collaborated with me on all of my ideas. I'm not a super DIY type of bride so I really wanted a place that is beautiful on its own and has a great coordinator to help me get to the end goal. They were both so sweet and welcoming.
The day of went flawlessly-they set everything up even better than I had pictured in my mind and they also helps wrangle all of our group--which is no easy feat. They provided us with a schedule that made it even more exciting to picture how our day would flow and they were there to remind us of the next step as it came.
I also MUST give a shout out to Kim! She was our bartender at the wedding and our guests (and us) loved her so much. I returned to the club the following weekend for my company's holiday party and was delighted to see her there again. GBC just has it all to really make you feel remembered and significant.
I just felt like I had my own little support team there with me and it made all the difference. I know everyone says their wedding was the best day ever but I really think mine was and I couldn't have done it with out these women.
Again, thank you so much. You've contributed vastly to a day we'll never forget and I'm infinitely thankful.

My husband and I got married at the Granite Bay Golf Club on July 6, 2019. Choosing Granite Bay Golf Club as our wedding venue was one of the easiest and best choice that we made while wedding planning. We scheduled many different venues to tour, and Granite Bay Golf Club was our first stop. After touring their amazing facility and beautiful grounds we had our hearts set on having our wedding there… then we met Kelle, and the rest was history (we never even went to look at any other venue locations)! Kelle’s passion and pure joy in wedding coordinating sold my fiancé, my parents, and I on having our wedding at the Granite Bay Golf Club. And our love for Kelle only grew from there! Kelle made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. She listened to all of my crazy ideas, let me share my overly organized wedding planning binder, and answered all my questions with open arms. My husband had only 2 requests for our wedding: #1 His favorite beer (which Granite Bay Golf Club special ordered on tap for us), and #2 Bacon on his salad, and Kelle made it happen! She made wedding planning fun and helped bring all of my dream wedding ideas to life! Kelle’s expertise in running a wedding rehearsal was astonishing as well, she runs a well-oiled machine which made for a flawless wedding day. Not only did Kelle even wear a dress that matched our wedding color scheme on our wedding day, she helped make EVERYTHING absolutely perfect for my husband and I, including helping put my veil on which wouldn’t stay in place. Thank you Kelle for everything you did for my husband and I on our wedding day! We are forever thankful for you (and Kendall too!)
We can’t thank the Granite Bay Golf Club enough for making our wedding not only run smoothly, but made my husband and I feel like we were celebrities all day long. Our wedding was absolutely perfect in each and every way. All the staff there were extremely professional, helpful, and so kind. The food was mouth-watering delicious, the photography locations are breathtaking, and to top it off the prices were just right! If you are looking for a picture-perfect venue that comes with 2 amazing wedding coordinators (Kelle and Kendall), then the Granite Bay Golf Club is the wedding venue for you! We would give them a 10/10!

When I came to her with just a little over a month to plan a wedding she was flexible and quick to help. The vendor list made it easy to select quality vendors and the food selection at GB is outstanding. Everything came together quickly and the day could not have been better if we have a year to plan. My daughter had her wedding at a local church and the reception at the Granite Bay Golf Club. Kelle Collier is the Wedding Coordinator and is your planner for the day of the event. She is very experienced and helped guide us to create a beautiful event that reflected my daughter and her husband's vision. We used vendors from their recommended list and were very happy. Kelle has the event timeline planned and coordinates with your vendors. The day of, she kept nicely to the schedule. The bride, groom, and parents can relax and know that everything will go smoothly. The food was very good! The ability for the guests to sit outside and enjoy the view was a nice addition. We received many compliments - what a fun party in a beautiful setting! -

You will love the coordinator Kelle right off the bat. You can tell she loves her job and knows it all too well! She put my mind at ease regarding everything from our first meeting and kept everything in order leading up to our big day and on our wedding day. The food and customer service was outstanding. The majority of our guests were saying it was the best wedding they have been to yet!

After getting a tour of the property and getting to spend time with Kelle, we both instantly knew that Granite Bay Golf Club was the perfect location for our wedding day! Throughout the process, we worked with Kelle to plan what was, in our opinion, the most perfect wedding day. Kelle was always prompt with responding to our inquiries, gave us checklists to keep us on task, gave excellent recommendations for vendors, and she did an amazing job of setting up the ceremony and reception spaces with our decorations with the help of her staff. Our family and friends still rave about the beautiful location and the delicious food every time we see them! Kelle was awesome! We loved her! We couldn’t have been more happy with our special day, and we owe a lot of that to the staff at Granite Bay Golf Club!”

Kayla Sent on 04/24/2018I can't say enough good things about the Granite Bay Golf Club and the event Coordinator, Kelle. My husband and I got married here a few weeks ago (March 2018) and truly had the wedding of our dreams. We heard back from Kelle immediately and as soon as we met with her we knew this is where we wanted to host our wedding ceremony and reception. Not only is the venue gorgeous but the options for food, beverage and set up is extremely flexible yet they manage and organize EVERYTHING. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed because I trusted Kelle so much and she truly was on top of everything, not only was the process easy and exciting but the rehearsal and day of was so well planned and organized. The staff was attentive to each and every one of us, the kind of service and experience our guests are still talking about a month later. If I could do this all over again I would pick this venue in a heartbeat, the pictures turned out beautiful, the food is AMAZING and the garden where we exchanged our vows was perfect. If you are looking for an incredible wedding venue to meet all of our visions this is the place for you. Thank you Kelle and Granite Bay Country Club!

The entire staff constantly asked my husband and I if we needed anything, it seemed like they were everywhere! They truly treat that bride and groom as if they are royalty. All of my guests told me how beautiful that room was and how smooth everything went. They are very flexible and nice and are there to make sure that your special day is everything that you want it to be. They go above and beyond your expectations! Please check out the club! -

Lilly Sent on 08/24/2010I cannot say enough to express how great Granite Bay was on the day of our wedding, and all the days leading up to it. Heidi, the coordinator, was phenomenal through the whole process. My mom and I had multiple questions and multiple visits to her, and she took everything in stride and was able to patiently and throughly meet with us and settle any concerns that we had.
The actual day itself was beyond compare. All the staff at Granite Bay took care of setting it up, breaking it down and were attentive throughout the day making sure that everyone had plenty to drink and food to eat.
The grounds are extraordinary. This venue was one of the best choices that we made for our wedding day. Thank you Heidi and Granite Bay! -

Wedding Venue Review
We had our wedding at Granite Bay Golf Club and were so happy with our choice. When we first started our wedding venue search, we met with Kelle Collier to tour the venue and she was SO helpful/patient/thorough with our questions. She has years of experience and it shows! She was such a gem for all of our wedding questions and especially the logistics questions. She listened to us, and catered to our needs the majority of the time, and when she couldn't, it was typically for good reason and she provided alternate suggestions. On the day of, she was superwoman ON TOP OF EVERYTHING for us. She was especially good at keeping us (and our vendors!) on track while still managing to give us the space to take everything all in. The venue itself is great but has some potential cons depending what you are looking for (see below), but Kelle absolutely makes up for any/all of them by being so phenomenal. It felt so personalized working with her (how many wedding coordinators do you know that will recognize your parents, whom she had only met a few times, in a Costco and say hi to them, months after your wedding??) and she seemed genuinely excited for us on our wedding day. As for the venue, we loved the look of the golf course vibe (we didn't want phone lines and random commercial buildings in our photos!) and GBGC delivered! They have stunning areas to have your couples photos taken at. The ability to not have to do the majority of the set-up and tear-down was so nice, the staff took care of it for us. The food was absolutely delicious and the chef was kind enough to customize certain menu items to our preferences, as well as accommodate for our vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free guests.
Pros: attentive staff, experienced day-of-coordinator Kelle, delicious food menu, beautiful golf course views during cocktail hour, easy access from parking lot to ceremony to reception, capable to accommodate large weddings (up to 250 guests), unique wide arch at ceremony site, reasonable meal costs compared to other golf course venues, beautiful areas to take photos in post-ceremony
Cons: drone footage of the ceremony site will have the parking lot in majority of shot due to parking lot backing up the ceremony, you can't do hair/makeup at the venue/in the getting ready rooms, there is a mandatory food and beverage minimum, appetizer to guest ratio is only 1:1 (so with 3 appetizer types, that's three per person, and that can go fast), one set of bathrooms (only a concern with larger wedding sizes), dance floor is on the smaller side if you have a large guest count

We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our wedding! They provided so many goods and services included in the price that most venues don't (setting up the decor, providing decor if you don't have any, platters, vases, amazing food, etc). Kelle and Kendall were amazing throughout the whole process and were very organized! -
